Very friendly staff from the moment you walk in. Super accomidating. Amber is my fav, but I have had others when she was unavailable and they were equally outstanding. I have had a color and cut service on myself, as well as a cut on my 3 yr old and 7 yr. old. It takes skill to handle them and they did it well. I have been going to a large competitor for years, but I have officially switched for good. You can't beat the quality and outstanding cost!

I have been looking for a stylist since I relocated here over a year ago and my search is over! After a few horrific colors and cuts I was ready to start doing my own hair, but then a friend told me about Untangled and I won't go anywhere ever again! Amy is the greatest, super sweet and great to talk to, not to mention she is amazing with my thick hair!!

Mary creates a style that works for my hard to style hair. She listens to what my needs are, then creates a unique cut that is amazing!! She is great with color and highlights too. People often ask where I have my hair done.... UNTANGLED, of course!!!

I had a great consultation with 'Robin' and now I get compliments every where I go! My hair looks and feels great and the price was better than I have ever paid for this type of service. I had been going to the same person to get my hair done for 13 years when she moved to Dallas. A friend recommended Amy, and after the first visit I knew she could easily fill the spot of permanent hair stylist. I usually only get my hair done once or twice a year, but when I come to see her it's like it's only been a short time between visits. She really makes her customers feel special, and I always love what she does with my hair.

Pros: They always fit me in.

Felt welcomed and not like a number. Amy keeps accurate records on her clients, has a great demeanor about her, is very thorough in explaining and addressing related concerns or details. We can always maintain a pleasant conversation and finally...she always has me leaving the salon looking FAB!

I was looking for a new hairdresser when I found Untangled on Citysearch, there were many good reviews so I immediately made an appointment for the next afternoon with Amy. I was welcomed warmly and the waiting area was comfortable. First off Amy was the most personal &friendly hairdresser I've ever met, she asked lots of questions to find out exactly what I wanted in a hair cut, she asked about me personally and my life so she could get to know me which I now see is a good way to get permanent clients. I definitely will return for another cut soon! Thanks Amy!

Dee Dee is fabulous. I have very thick hair. Dee Dee
knows how to work with it. She never pushed me to do anything I wasn't ready for. She was understanding and very accomodating. I am super picky about my hair and Dee Dee has been terrific. She listens, gives input and works with you! I would recommend her to anyone!

Deedee has been doing my hair for almost a year now and I have been very pleased with her work. I have gone from long to short hair, a straight style back to my natural curl, and all over color to highlites. She is able to do it all and make it look great. She really takes to time to listen to me and communicates well (which I have found to be a problem with many other stylists). I have never gone with a picture but always leave with what I wanted.

As someone with curly hair I have always found it difficult to find someone to cut my hair well. I read the key is finding someone with curly hair so they understand your concerns and styling issues. Deedee gets it! She has curly hair to but you would never know it! The result - she is able to style straight hair or curly hair and do it well.

Mary is the best. I am EXTREMELY picky about my hair. I've been know to walk out mid-blowout because of a bad color/cut. Then I went to Mary about a year ago and I have been going to her ever since. She's a master of color and cuts with the best of them. I am constantly complimented on my hair and have now reffered three others to her who are now permanent clients. She's amazing.

Amy is personable and professional as well as the whole studio. She listened to my concerns and responded with a cut that I like. She also went the extra mile and told me how to style my new cut. Satisfaction was guaranteed since she told me to call her if there were any questions or concerns after I left the studio. I'm definitely going to be a repeat customer for Amy, and I may also try their spa services.

Dee Dee at Untangled has been doing my hair for a year now and I love her. She is very caring and takes the time to educate her customers on products etc. She listens and aims to please. My hair is fine and hard to manage and she has given me a cut that gives volume yet looks natural and shiny. She does great color and is very efficient. I get compliments on my hair all the time because of Dee Dee.

Amy has given my daughter very nice, stylish hair cuts for over a year now. She is consistent and professional in her services. She is also very good at giving you want you ask for while using good judgment to ensure you leave with a stylish hair cut every time.

Dee Dee at Untangled did a gorgeous updo for me for a wedding I was in recently. However, she did not just do an updo. Instead she extended her services by making inquiries about my hair and showing me how my ends were severely damaged from the bleach that my now ex-hairstylist was using incorrectly. So what did I do? What any smart woman would do and book an appt with her for the following weekend. I drove the 3 hours to see her again and she thoroughly explained what needed to be done to get my hair healthy again. I now have a new color and cut, and more importantly it looks and feels great. The compliments from friends, family, and even strangers are running wild! Thanks Dee Dee!!!

As a former hairsdresser I was nervous about getting a haircut by someone I did not know. I read about Untangled on CitySearch and gave it a try. Amber has cut my hair twice and I love it. My first visit to Untangled was in 2007, I followed a hairstylist there and I was so impressed with the salon. The staff was courteous and they have a nice comfortable waiting area. Unlike driving towards the mall and having to fight traffic or find a parking place instead I parked right in front of the salon. It is located between Nasa Space Center and the Kemah Boardwalk in a really cool upbeat strip center. Unfortunately, my stylist left to get married but fortunately, Amy came to my rescue! Amy is a young stylist with has lots of new and creative hairstyling tips. After talking with me first and going over my hair type, she cut and styled my hair. Amy offered suggestions on the best products that work best with my hair type but didn't high-pressure me into purchasing anything. Of course, I liked the products she used on my hair so I did get them. I also love the extra TLC touches they put in wrapping up my products with their cute little bags & tissue...I came out feeling great about how my hair looked and for doing something good for myself. I highly recommend Untangled Hair Studio...it has all the frills of a chic salon you find in Midtown or the Galleria but without the long drive. I?m so glad I found this little hidden treasure?.right in my own backyard.

I went 2 untangled for the first time and i was very impressed. The girl in the front was very friendly dont know her name, Sorry!
Aleesha was the hairstylist that cut my hair.
Aleesha is the best!!!! She was very patient with me.
I decided to cut my long hair to a short cut and she did n awesome job.
I will absolutely go back to see her.

Amber gave me perfect blonde highlights. Not too blond, and blended in well. She also colored my hair back to the original color. It has been about 7 weeks and still looks great, but I need a haircut and I will have her do my I only gave her 4 stars because she has yet to cut my hair. I will rate her again, once I get my haircut and highlights today.

DeeDee the stylist is" the bomb". She has a warm, friendly and attractive personality. Guy's she's the best. Take it from a guy from Boca Raton, Florida who's use to paying $75 at "The Red Door Salon" at Sax Fifth Ave. She takes very, very good care of her clients. DeeDee will get to know you and your personal style. She's the stylist to many executives in the area. Thank You DeeDee !! You pour your heart in everything you do, it shows with your clients. Jen always gives me a great haircut. You can show her a picture and you will come out of her shop looking like the picture, or at least close if you are trying to grow out your hair. I'm always able to work with my hair after Jen cuts it.

Amy has that rare nack for cutting a trendy style that I am able to handle myself when I get home. She also knows my trouble spots (like flyaways if the layers get to short around the crown and my husbands hair that flips over his ears), and works them in to my cut. My color and highlights are always beautiful, and she makes practical (affordable) recommendations for the best products. Amy also cuts my husbands hair, and yes, he is quite handsome!

Dee Dee Olk is one of the best hairdressers I've been to. She has great style and personality. She is dedicated to keeping abreast of the lastest techniques and works hard to satisfy her client.

I used CitySearch to find a new salon in Clear Lake, and it pointed me to Untangled. I wanted a new look after wearing my hair very short for years, and Amy was great at working in a new style as my hair grew out. They say growing your hair from very short is terrible, but with Amy's expertise I never had the horrible hair days I expected. Pricing is fair based on how much time is spent on each appointment, and takes into account the expertise you find here.

My stylist is Amber. She does such a fabulous job cutting and coloring my hair before untangled that I followed her to the location is at now. I have never waited when I made an apointment, and not once have I been unsatisfied with the quality of service. Amber does a great job listening to what I want when I come in, she is very knowledgable about coloring (I change my hair color often) and the other stylists are very friendly too. This is a great place. I highly recommend it.

After moving from the Los Angeles area to the bay area of Houston i was struggling to find a great stylist and salon that were up to par with familiar salons in California. A family member recommended Mary at Untangled and i was pleasantly hooked! Mary (also a California native) does wonders with my cut and hilights and makes me feel at home. She's cool, she's fun and most of all, she knows what shes doing!!! I would recommend Mary at Untangled to anyone searching for a perfect stylist that just "gets" it..Your hair will thank you! ;)

Amy's been coloring my hair for over a year now. She's great about doing exactly what I ask her to do. It's especially helpful that she keeps an index card on each customer to refer back to, as I can never remember what we did last. Several of my friends go to her as well and we all love her.

Amy McGaffey at Untangled Hair Studio is an awesome hairdresser. She has been doing my hair for over a year and I have never had a complaint. I also like that I never have to wait. If my appointment is at a specific time, she is always ready for me.

Bottom line...I have gone to numerous salons over the years, and have never found anyone who is as good at color and highlights as Amy. She is also a great hair cutter.

I found Jen over a couple of years ago and have been very happy with her skills as a stylist. All services; including haircuts, color and highlights have been superb! The atmosphere at the salon is very comfortable and there is no high pressure sales to purchase products.
