Never fear .. if you are envious of long and thick curly hair, like I...Jen got me back into my relationship with my hair and now I love my fine thin hair....the color is always rich and the cut is perfect for me. My hair is as soft as ever and it's good product and care....she is appreciated!

I got Jennifer Ruby's name on a referral. The woman who referred her had been going to her for 5 years and had switched salons to follow her. Talk about love! On Saturday, June 21st, 2008, I went to Jennifer Ruby for the first time. I did not know what I wanted ? I just wanted to look good. I'm a low maintenance, professional engineer who likes to be able to look both professional and dolled up for a night on the town. Jennifer listened closely to what I wanted - a low maintenance (air dry), professional 'do - and she spent an hour styling and cutting my hair. She took the time to explain blowdrying techniques to me, taught me how to use a serum and treatment shampoo, and genuinely seemed to care. I really enjoyed listening to her teach me about good looks for my face and tell stories about great places to visit in town (I?m new to Sacramento). She really knows what she's doing. As of 6/21, a hair cut is $50, but it is one of the best cuts I've ever had. My boyfriend was blown away and said I'd never looked more beautiful. I'm going again in 10 weeks! Jennifer has been my hair stylist for almost 3 years (ever since I moved to Sac) and I have never been dissapointed. She goes above and beyond every single time. Jennifer does not pressure me into things I wouldnt want to do, and also gives me her honest opinion about anything new I want to try. Most importantly, when we discuss what changes are going to be made to my hair, she sticks to them and I never leave dissatisfied or unhappy. She is always friendly, and I have never had a problem with her starting/ending on time. Jennifer is also very knowledgable about products and which types to use. I always get compliments on my hair and am sure to pass her card out when I do. Jennifer was recommended to me by my sister in law and I am SO happy for that - and will probably never use any other stylist as long as I live here!!

Jennifer is as much an artist as she is a hairdresser. I came in with a very specific idea in my head of what I wanted, and even though I wasn't able to articulate it exactly, she and I talked it through, and came up with a fantastic vision. I had a LOT of thick hair and she took her time with me, working to ensure that my cut was exactly the way we envisioned it. I also asked for purple coloring, but was on a budget, and she made sure that I got the coolest looking dye job for the amount of money I could spend. She was very accommodating and extremely friendly and personable. I'd highly recommend her to anyone!
