I have super fine (almost like a babies) hair, and it is really difficult to get a good hair cut. most of the time i go away from a hair cut feeling like crying, but not here! Debbie always does a great job! i never know what i want done

Im a pretty picky person, especially when it comes to my hair. I have thick curly hair which a lot of hair stylist dont know how to manage. I usually get my hair cuts in the city, but its a hassle when you live in NJ. So my search began.\nI found hairworks online and took the risk. They were very pleasant on the phone when scheduling the appointment. Upon my arrival I was greeted by Roxana whom was very pleasant. While I was waiting I was given a complementary hand massage boy was I in heaven. ( I forgot her name) Sorry ?.. And finally it was time for my haircut. My stylist was Erika. She was absolutely awesome. Being it was my first time there and I was freaking out, she took the time to talk and pretty much set my nerves at ease. At the end of it all I loved. My new haircut. She was amazing. I couldnt be happier. I was so impressed by her and the salon that I will use them for my upcoming wedding in August. \n

Lived in the city for many years, went to the best hair salons for color, highlights & cuts which have been nice...pay a lot & get a nice a nice job done. \n\nI moved to Clifton recently...looked at reviews of many salons in the area & decided to give this one a try. By God's grace I was given Amy. \n\nFor the first time in my life, I have met a woman who took the time to listen, understand and accomplish exactly what I tell her to do...literally with every strand of hair. Yes, i'm that picky- and she really gets it. Whatever cut/look it is that you desire with your hair, she does!! and she does it PERFECTLY. Amy truly is my angel from heaven...it's been a week since my last cut and i'm still admiring my hair! Yes, she NAILS it. It's official, my whole family now goes to her now:) Bring your pictures, she'll nail it on the dot and work with your hair until she accomplishes exactly what you want. Not to mention she's so sweet and patient. Yes, i'm in love! I will go so far as to say best stylist i've ever met. (i've been to plenty of those hot shot guys in the city who does all kinds of fancy stuff with scissors...but what Amy does is truly remarkable.) xo

I know that it's difficult to commit to someone new touching your head. I won't lie- when I moved to NJ from NYC and had to find a new salon, I was terrified. \n\nI hopped on google and found the nearest Aveda salon (.. I know , I know.. but i just trust the products to be gentle to my hair, and at 42? Color and highlights are my best friends.). \n\nHairworks was crazy simple to find - right on 46 east in Clifton - (and I drive from 20 mins away to get there.. ) with ample parking. The salon itself is clean, modern, unfussy, with a very restful atmosphere. \n\nSince I'd never been there before, I didn't know who to ask for, but the heavens smiled on me and I was assigned to Debbie. This woman has been my personal hair savior ever since. I have never just sat in a chair before and let someone ""do what they wanted"", but I truly trust Debbie enough to let her do this and I come away looking amazing every single time. \n\nI have yet to try out the spa portion of the ""Urban Oasis"" - but I plan to do that very soon also. The staff is friendly and helpful, Susan does a bang up job on a mani/pedi (they do gel too), and you can get your product fix on anything you might need in the Aveda line there.\n\nI laughed when I saw ""Run, don't walk"" next to the star rating when i rated the salon, but... I'll have to agree. \n\nRUN DON'T WALK! \n\nSigned- a picky control freak :)

great location, easy to find, right next door to dress barn on 46 east. Debbie did highlights and a hair cut for me a few times and she did an amazing job each time. I am a big pain in the rear when it comes to my hair, and she gets it right every time. I always go in with new ideas for styles, colors, and cuts, she had never failed me once. They have the best products there and it's def. worth the money cause my hair feels great and i get compliments all the time. I use the Aveda hair care line and love it!

It's a great place to get your hair done for an important ocassion. They don't cost that much and are really good.

I went to Hair Works on my wedding day and liked the way my hair came out...it wasn't exactly what I had in mind for myself, but it looked great in my wedding pictures, so I was happy in the end.

Just the other day, I went to a mall salon to have my medium brown, blonde highlighted hair dyed to match my roots, well, the woman there completely dyed my hair a terrible dark brown that was about two shaded darker than my natural color and made me look awful, so I called up Hair Works and the colorist there gave me some subtle light brown and medium chestnut highlights, trimmed and gave me a blow out and it looks amazing!!
They really know what they're doing here! However, it is a bit overpriced so that is why I didn't give 5 stars.

I was recomended to go to Hairworks by a friend. I was really loyal to my old barber, but I loved the service and atmosphere at Hairworks so much that I started having all my services done at Hairworks. They always suggest new styles for me that attract a lot of compliments. Defintely check it out, you won't be dissapointed.
