Hotel Pepper Tree is owned and operated by two Australian families who have been providing extended stay accommodations since in 1998. On the eastern seaboard of Australia many hotels provide serviced apartments for short term business and leisure travel. Most travelers prefer the convenience of having a separate bedroom and living room with a kitchen to staying in a conventional hotel room. These hotels have been reviewed as friendlier and more homely. It was with this in mind that John and Mark moved their families to California to develop a similar style of hotel.
