CONTRACTORS BEWARE. Mike gives tons of excuses not to pay. He has you start a job that does not have enough materials to finish. He than refuses to pay. He completes the job(only a little left) himself. He'll give you the run around about materials not showing up pretty much until you give up. Do not work for Granite 4 less or Mike the owner.

This company does a horrible job. Crappy work and leaves a mess and job was unfinished. Had to hire someone else to come in and finish it. Price was low, well I guess you get what you pay for. I bet Granite4Less had friends write these good reviews because they are not at all in line with all the terrible reviews I've seen on this and other sites. Don't make the same mistake, find someone else to do your work.

In early November, Granite4less installed our kitchen countertops. We are very pleased with their work. The installation crew showed up at the estimated time and was very courteous. When the job was complete, they did a good job of clean up and hauled all the trash away. The plumber arrived about an hour after the installation crew left and installed faucet. As with the installation crew, very professional and friendly. The next day, the owner came out to seal the countertop and inspect the work. Overall, we had a very postive experience with Granite4less and will call them when it is time to re-do our bathrooms. Based on our experience, we would recommend.

I would not recommend this company to do anything. The owner will tell you something and it will never reach the workers. He contracts the cheapest labor he can find. Not only will they tell you they will be on time and not show up, but they will try and do the easiest way out. If you go with them do not pay in full. Their edges do match the brochure they give you so be prepared.

Had our countertop and backsplash replaced in the kitchen. Was told this would be a "Turn Key" job and they would take care of everything from start to finish.Granite is sold by an installed price, meaning so much per square foot. Our kitchen is small and I measured a very liberal 36 sq. feet for the job. Probably closer to 34 - 35 sq. ft. but I added a foot or two. We were billed for 38 sq. feet. The countertop did not have an even overhang all the way around on all edges. It varied from 3/4" - 2 1/4". Doesn't sound like much but it is very noticeable. I was told that this was the measurement of my old countertop. Well, sorry, I didn't want what I had, I wanted something new and improved. We had to ask that trim be installed around the edges of counter and underneath the granite to hide the old edge that was unstained and very noticeable due to the lack of overhang mentioned above. We were told that we would have to stain it ourselves! Remember, this was a "Turn Key" project? We were told that a worker was "on there way" and they never showed up. We had a worker show up, unannounced, at 8:30 AM on a Sunday morning and he couldn't speak English. Workers helped themselves to my tools in my garage, without asking. Some of the countertop was cut while in the kitchen, creating quite a mess. We were told that there was no need to remove items in the cabinets below the new countertop. This was a mistake. Everything had to be cleaned due to all the dust and debris. We were asked "how would you like to make final payment" before the job was completed. That call came on a Sunday morning. No one from the company came by to see if the job was completed to our satisfaction.I could go on, but you get the picture...In the end, the final product looks great, but I would have a hard time recommending this company to any friends or neighbors.
