excellent service great sushi and cocktails

by Hally Mix

This was one of the first places I checked out when I moved to town. I found the staff extremely welcoming and the atmosphere hip and comfortable. The food is truly excellent and the waitstaff is knowledgeable, well-manered, and very quick. The menu is very diverse while not too overwhelming, and the sushi is excellent with unique options. Just a jump past Newton center, this place is well-worth the trip and you are almost certain to get a table right away.

Pros: best service in town!

Cons: would love some outdoor seating?

I am Korean.

by Tady

I am Korean. last week Me and my wife went there with my American friends. I ordered korean bbq and some food. Ha! I think side dishes is terrable. There beef source is not traditional one, even me and my wife had never seen that kinds of source but strangely tastes and smell was almost similar as traditional one. Other foods is not that good. Especially, the waiteress is not korean and i think the cooker is not korean. IF YOU GUYS WANT TO HAVE REAL KOREAN FOOD, DONT GO THERE. instead i recommand you Yasoo or Koreana.

Aweful experience

by Redsoxrules

We just went to this restaurant. My wife had a soup which was too salty and had a hair in it. Their BBQ was tasteless. Their service was very bad. We only saw our waitress three times: she took our order, brought us our food, and brought us our check. We had to talk to another waitress to add more orders. We spent more than $100 for a dinner, and all we got were bad food and service. Don't waste your money or time. Try someplace else.

individual diners beware

by rabbe

If you are an individual diner savoring an anticipated delicious Korean Barbecue dinner, don't bother - go somewhere else

They won't seat you unless you order for two.

Pros: plenty of parking

Cons: won't serve Korean Barbecue to individual diner

this place is really good. i ordered a seafood & scallion pancake and both me and my friend agreed that this restaurant is def. not cheap on the seafood. however, the only complain we have is that the pancake was a little undercooked. but other than that, we really have no complains. we did the korean bbq on the table and the beef was well marinated and the portion is generous. in fact, they probably give more beef than any other places i went for korean bbq before. the waitress was really nice and attentive. i would totally recommend ppl to give this place a try!

Pros: parking, service

Korean food at its Best!

by jksushi

Great Korean food found in Boston.... finally! I give this restaurant 5 stars. The service, the ambience, the drinks menu, and the BBQ was super. Their Galbi was very tasty and affordable compared to other Korean restaurants. I walked into Apgujung thinking that the food would be expensive due to the location and atmosphere, however, their BBQ was cheaper than other restaurants. They offer sushi, but I have yet to try it because the smell of the BBQ makes me forget they even have sushi. I brought my kids and we all had a great time! Highly recommended and worth the wait.

Pros: Price, Korean Cuisine, drinks menu

Cons: long wait on Friday nights when we went
