One of my favorite places to eat in Las Vegas. I love Hawaiian food! This guy does it straight up from Hawaii! There is nothing bad that I have tasted in this place. It's not a place that's cheap but lets just say you get what you pay

I would have to say I was very impressed. I surprised my folks with a dinner to Hawaii and this was a very special occassion. All of the management team was in on it and really made our dinner special. The ambience was beautiful and the food was excellent. I would go here again.

I have loved Roy's from the first time that I tried the restaurant in Hawaii and this one lived up to my expectations.

We had reservation and were seated when we walked in and we could see the kitchen from our table. Our waiter was nice and service was good. The food was excellent. I always get the butterfish and I was not disappointed. The chocolate souffle was outstanding as always.

This upscale restaurant chain, founded by award winning chef Roy Yamaguchi, serves innovative Hawaiian fusion cuisine with a focus on fresh fish. My wife ordered the 3-course prix fixe meal which included a beautiful sampler appetizer of a crispy coconut shrimp stick, Szechuan baby back ribs and a crispy shrimp potsticker that she graciously shared. Her entree was Roy?s signature macadamia crusted mahi mahi in lobster cognac butter sauce accompanied by mashed potatoes and baby vegetables. I ordered the macadamia crusted white fish which turned out to be the same entree. The sauce would have benefited by the addition of more lobster and cognac, but it still complimented the fish which was properly prepared. A delicious melting hot chocolate souffle was included plus my wife received a fruit tart with the plate inscribed with Happy Birthday wishes

My wife and I have been to Roy's in both Maui and Clearwater and always seek one out when we travel as don't have one where we live. It pains me to say that our experience was a big letdown from our expectations. Our server had no "bedside manner" not to mention the service was slow -- close to 40 minutes from salads to main course. This might explain why one of the dishes was cooked beyond taste, not that our server would know as he never came back to ask. Finally, this looks to be a converted location of another restaurant rather than upscale dining you might expect from a Roy's.

We will of course be back at Roy's in the future, but Vegas has too much to offer to go back to this location.

Cons: Service, Ambience

My wife and I dine out frequently and are always eager to try new (to us) restaurants. Although the main course was adequate the service, cocktails and desssert were very much sub-par.

Firstly, My wife's Mai Tai was not very good and had to be sent back because of a sour taste. When it came time for dessert, we were anxious to try their highly touted chocalate souflee'. After approximately a 35 minute wait we were pressented their signature dessert. Yuk! This was absolutely the worst souflee' that we had ever had. It was like a soggy chocolate cup cake drippy with runny chocolate syrup.

This was our first, and definitely our last, trip to Roy's.

PROS: None.
CONS: Slow service - - - but worse desserts.

I am writing a review everyone should read because Roy's on East Flamingo is the best in all categories. It is a high priced restaurant but well worth the money. They serve Americanized Hawaiian food. I am a bridal consultant who booked a reception here for my bride. They had wonderful comunnication between bothe the bride and I. The customer service with all the staff was the most outstanding I have ever seen. And the food was amazing. From the presentation to the taste. The service recieved was absolutely dynamic. The staff waited on our entire party of 50 people with no glitch. Everyone was very happy. As the guests for the reception left there last word to me were "This is an A++++ place to eat". Most of the guests are originally from Hawaii but live in California, they raved about how it immediaely took them back to Hawaii.

After eating in the best restaurants on the Strip we stopped at Roy's on the way to the airport without a reservation on a tight schedule. My wife mentioned it to the hostess and everyone we came in contact with expressed their desire to help us trough the process and make our flight on time. The food was outrageously great and the server was a 15 out of 10. He went so far as to box up dessert for us to take on the plane. My wife's $30 prix fixe worth every penny and more. I had the best Monkfish I have ever eaten. Can't wait to get back or to try the other locations. Very impressed!

We went to the Roy's in NLV and had a very good dining experience, not bad for a chain. The $30 3 course dinner was a steal. Took just a little too long between courses, but it was bearable. It lacks the "wow" factor, yet the food, the services, and the ambience were all around very good.

Roy's is the best restruant that I have ever been to. It is high class but casual depending on how you want your experince to be. For a fine dining restruant the prices are reasonable. You can enjoy a great meal even if you are on a buget
The food is great with an aisan, hawain mix of food and a european style. I love it and if I could I would eat there every day.
