I worked for ateam locksmith a while ago and are crooks. We are trained to no give you a price and the locksmiths are told to get the most money out of you they can. The will tell u they will be there in 15 minutes when we are over an hour away. The charge you 35$ service fee no matter what. If you Refuse to pay the will try to call the police but they don't do anything. I have seen them charge almost 300$ to get a key out of a car. The owners a Meni, Avi, and Offiar. But they lie about their names. If you call to complain they will have the people who answer the phone give you the run around. You can never get them on the phone. Dania the office manager will lie to you as well. The will take you for everything you have. Don't use them!!! They will never give u a price over the phone. The will buy the cheapest locks and over charge you. And if you buy your own locks they will try to tell you that they have better locks so you can buy one form them. If that don't work they will just over charge you in labor cost. The also have many names like Ateam, Metro, American and swifty. All have different numbers but they are all in the same office.

This business is a scam***** I called them on a sunday night because my friend broke my ignition key off in my door. The lady quoted me a price of $99. When the locksmith showed up (David) He jacked the price up to $200 dollars. After he fixed it he didnt give me a reciept and my key does NOT work in any of my doors- so I can not lock my car now. Not to mention he jacked my door up so bad I am going to have to take the company to court any body want to join me ?????

I called to have a front door broken lock replaced by A team. Thier customer service was cagey about charges for a lock and was told the estimate would come from the LS. ($30 service call). LS came, (unmarked vehicle) quoted $195 for the replacement- claimed it was the best quality lock.
I asked about our back door lock-he said I should replace it as it was only a 3 tumbler and should be a 5 for maximum safety. I expressed concern about incurring more expense but agreed to the $195.
We are nervous as our neighborhood has experienced an uptick in crime- I asked if he could do a quick check on the security of our french doors. He claimed the lock was good but it 'needed' a quick fix (its 'no problem, I'll do it for you" implying it was free) and took 5 sec drilling so the lock would extend further into the socket. When it came time to pay- I was anticipating a $390 bill (two $195 locks), I was given an almost $1200 BILL! The locks were $390. However, he charged an unmentioned $85 to 'accommodate' my existing key for each side of the 2new locks ($340)! he claimed he mentioned this charge but he didn't. Plus, the $108 for the un-disclosed charge for french doors. Total for locks and 'drilling' $838. Labor Charges were $373, plus he charged extra for using a 'high security drill' at $199 to install the new locks (are you kidding, it was a regular drill, this much I know), $144 for removing old locks (a charge never discussed)plus $30 service call.

I have since found out that they installed the CHEAPEST and poorest quality locks (less than $40 each)! I am disputing with my credit card co. . After an upset phone call to the company and getting the owner on the phone, they lowered the price by eliminating the labor fees... leaving me with a $730 bill for 2 cheap locks! I called another BBB approved company (turns out ATEAM HAS AN F with the BBB!) and he said I overpaid by HUNDREDS of DOLLARS!
I've now come across at least 20 complaints against ATEAM... JUST LIKE MINE! PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS CORRUPT COMPANY!
Disgusting people. Disgusting experience. Taking advantage of vulnerable people in their home is the lowest of the low.

I had locked my key inside of my car at the gas station and decided to call the locksmith. I looked in Yellow Page and first number I called was A Team Locksmith. I have used locksmith service before so I already had an idea what the prices will be. It is usually around 55, 65-70 at the most. I called the number and asked for the quote to unlock the car door, the lady on the phone stated 29.99 for service fee and depending on the car the price varies but starting price is 20.00. She asked make, model and year of my car and if the door is automatic or manual. (Honda Civic 2000 with automatic door) I asked the lady what will be the most I will be charged for my car, she stated 35-40 which was reasonable price so I agreed to use A Team Locksmith. Technician called and stated he will be there in 10- 15 minutes because he was close by however he did not show up til about a hour later. He proceeded to get his equpiment out, which was just normal equpiment I have seen to unlock the door. It did not require any special or extra tool for my car and took the technician only 2 minutes to unlock my car. To my surprise, technician stated it would be 125.00 for the service. I tried to explain to him that I was quoted 35-40 at the most, however he became very loud and defensive. Once I got in my car, I called the office to complain about the situation but the operator was very short and rude and all she stated was "I will note it in the system" and hung up the phone. Upon further research I found out I was not the only person they scammed. There are numerous complaints against this company http://www.merchantcircle.com/business/A.Team.Locksmith.770-336-1422
RIPOFF! SCAM BE AWARE!
