Dr. Tam and his staff ROCKS! I have no other words to describe them. I hate the dentist but now look forward to it. Crazy sounding I know........it's hard to find a good dentist but now I've found a great one.

I am the biggest chicken around when it comes to going to the dentist. Unfortunately, a toothache prompted me to schedule an appointment. Of course, I asked my friends and family first for a recommendation and my sister told me to go see Dr. Tam, and am I glad I did. The office was warm and inviting, and the staff was extremely friendly. I was VERY nervous, but Dr. Tam came in the room and introduced himself and put me at ease. He explained everything to me(in language I could understand), fixed my problem, got me out of pain, AND I've been back to have everything else checked and cleaned. I would highly recommend Dr. Tam, he's very gentle and I'm not as scared anymore!

I agree with the other 2 reviews. The office is cozy, and the people are so friendly. Even Dr. Tam. I felt like I've known everyone my whole life. That's just how they operate. Not fake like alot of dentist offices athat just want your business. Everyone was so down to earth and actually made my experience kind of fun and I received three fillings in one sitting. He also met me and looked at my tooth on a Friday night when I cracked it. Highly recommend him. :) :) :)

You know that feeling when you walk into a doctor's office? - I don't get that at this office.
The people were really friendly on the phone and at the office. Even Dr. Tam was nice. He took the time to explain what he was doing, why he was doing it and all that stuff. He was confident so I was confident in what he was saying and doing. It really calmed me down.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I found a really good doctor and an office that has friendly people. I recommend Dr. Tam. I don't have any bad things to say about my visits.
Pros: calming, parking, easy to find, good doctor

I had just moved to Portland and in much need of a dentist. While moving some furnitures into my house, I fell and cracked my front tooth. I was upset and couldn't find a dentist on a Saturday to see me. I called my friend that lives in Portland and she highly recommended Dr. Tam. I called his number expecting to get his voicemessage, instead he answered the phone and was extremely friendly and sympathetic. He saw me that Saturday and fixed my smile. I've had plenty of different dentist in a lot of different places I've lived. But without hesitation, I recommend Dr. Tam-he's simply the best dentist I've ever seen. He is a down to earth, skilled and gifted dentist. His staff and him makes the overall experience fabulous!!
