After waiting 2 1/2 weeks for our belongings (when we were told it would be 1 1/2-2 weeks MAX) I was furious when the movers arrived with our boxes and belonging in disarray. I understand with moving things are bound to be jostled around; however, our things were sorely neglected and mistreated. Many of our boxes were smashed, evidence of the apathy associated with moving our belongings. Our couch back was cracked, our bed sheet over our mattress was filthy from a poor packing and handling job, and all of our storage totes were mangled with everything from the tops broken, to the actual plastic sides cracked. We went with Quality Van Lines even though it was going to be more expensive because we hoped the quality and service associated with the move would make up for the increase cost. It did not. Instead, our moving day stress was increased exponentially by the movers telling us our original estimate was short by almost $1,000. Then our possessions were profoundly mistreated and we were charged an extra $100 for a "long move" even though my husband assisted the movers. It was an AWFUL, AWFUL experience ?? one that we will not be repeating. It may be fine for short moves, but if you are doing a long/cross-country move stay far away!

Using this company was one of the worst experiences I have ever had in moving. They seldom told me the truth about their service and prices and it was difficult to get them to accept my phone calls. Pickup was a day late(due to truck breakdown) and not on time. Delivery was again a day late(truck breakdown again) and items were missing. I was told one item did not fit on the truck and would be delivered when the company was in the state again, another item was missing from the shipment and a baker's table arrived in pieces--unfortunately, 3 other pieces and the screws were missing. The company does not stand by its word or it contract. They will tell you anything to get the business but then not follow through. My salesman dropped me after I agreed to the deal and never spoke to me again. Also, when the pickup was taking place I was advised of a higher price and the price increased to more than double. For example, because they did not bring enough blankets, they charged me for the boxes they broke down to use for protecting furniture. I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this company to anyone. As it is, I feel I will be arguing with them for quite a while to get satisfaction. I have moved a number of times, but his has to be the worse service and reliability.

Pros: I should probably be grateful that more isn't broken or missing

Cons: This company does not stand by its word
