Disappointed Customer

My husband and I have hired over ten different contractors over the last year and a half to work on renovating our house. The only contractor who has sorely disappointed us was Paul Barasso of Fast Glass. The project we had hired Paul for was extensive and consisted of installing four sets of shower doors and two sets of glass shelves. The first time he came out to the house to give us an estimate of the work, he was professional, punctual and responsive. He continued to be so for the first half of the project. However, at some point, it became more and more difficult to reach him over the telephone and he was slow to return our calls. He would schedule our appointment two, two-and-a-half weeks out. He did not show up for two appointments and had not called in advance or to reschedule. He had lied to us over the availability of hardware for the glass shelves and after I had repeatedly tried to reach him, decided to completely walk off the project ? without any explanation. We are now stuck with shower doors and glass shelves that he failed to install. Paul Barasso is the most irresponsible, unprofessional individual I have had the misfortune to hire and would not recommend him to anyone under any circumstances. It is beyond my comprehension how any business owner can treat a paying customer in such a disrespectful, dishonest manner. My next step will be to file a formal complaint against Paul Barasso and Fast Glass.
