She knew exactly what I needed to maintain consistent beautiful highlights, without compromising the quality of my hair. Allison is AMAZING. I have been going to see Allison for over a year, and I have never been less than thrilled when I leave. My color is always very natural looking, and her cuts compliment my face. Not only does she make my hair the best it can be, she educates me on how and why she cares for my hair the way she does, and educates me on how to care for my hair between visits. Also, her website makes appoinment setting SO EASY!

I have been going to Allison for a few years now and just love that she gives her honest opinion, knows what she is doing and isn't afraid to tell you when something won't work. I always feel like a million dollars when I leave her salon. I have even strayed a couple of times just wanting to try something new only to come back begging Allison to fix the mess that was created by other high end salons. She is the best!

I find Allison is an advisor to me, always listening and making recommendations to me about her work. I've never been disappointed, and will continue to return to Allison as long as I live in Atlanta, or as long as she lets me come back:)

Allison is the most talented hair colorist in the country! I have lived in Atlanta, Boston and California and have tried DOZENS of different hair professionals but NO ONE has ever compared to Allison. I have been going to Allison for blonde highlights every 6 weeks for over 6 years! Allison is amazing! She knows my hair better than I do. She knows exactly what colors to mix to get the same great results.
Also, if I feel like trying something new like adding lowlights or getting a new hair cut, I leave it all up to Allision...she knows what will look the best everytime! I trust her completely!! Allison is 100% dedicated to her clients and has a passion for people that far exceeds the average stylist. I HIGHLY recommend anyone who is looking for a great cut and/or color to visit Allison....I guarantee you will have never looked BETTER!

Allison's a cool chick with an intuitive sense and a direct manner. Oh, and very skilled at what she does (duh!). So, coming from SF I wasn't sure what kind of treats I'd get in the ATL but she came referred and she came with honestly on our first meeting. Using those boxed "natural" colors for the in-between gray times had left me "flat" as she so kindly called it. She worked diligently, and what appeared seamlessly, to correct and make my color spectacular (REALLY, I'm not biased, promise ;). She has an opinion, which is good for extemporaneous gals like myself so she's kept it long but threw some bangs in from time to time and always creates interesting layers to add some chic. Love her and you will too!

Allison does a fantastic job with my hair, I have very fine hair. She really knows how to evaluate what would look best and discuss with her clients what they want the outcome to be. I would highly recommend Allison for cut and highlights- she is creative and personable! Hands down the BEST cut and color I have had in years.

I have been going to Allison for almost three years now. I had finally had enough of my old hair stylist cutting my hair too short, and I decided that I wanted to grow it out. Allison exercised at the gym where I used to work, and I remember coming to her (almost in tears) saying how my latest hair cut was once again far shorter than I wanted. She insisted I come see her, and I immediately had a feeling I would be in good hands. She has done an incredible job keeping my hair healthy and beautiful while it grows out. Allison REALLY listens to what you want, and can translate that beautifully into a great hair style. She is incredibly talented and also a bright, intelligent, and fun person, making every visit a great one. Mine truly looks better every time I see her. Allison is now located at Color Bar in Buckhead, and I love the new location. It is an intimate and charming place, and I am looking forward to my next visit already. As you can tell, I have nothing but good things to say about Allison. Now, my mom also sees her as well as several of my friends. I am completely confident in her work and I will continue to see her myself and send people her way. Shes a keeper!

I cannot say enough good things about Allison. As a guy I don't want to spend a lot of time in the mirror, but I of course want to look good. Allison makes that happen. She has consistently made this mug look good through her efforts for over three years. Allison can figure out what your hair needs even if you are not quite sure yourself. And with her fun, upbeat personality, she has made every appointment an enjoyable visit. I always leave feeling good. I am glad to know her and if I went bald tomorrow I wouldn?t want to lose contact. I will never go to any other stylist as long as I live in Atlanta. Or the Southeast.

Allison has been taking care of my care for several years now. Her professionalism and dedication to her work is amazing. She has the skills to transform you in a way that is neither too drastic nor too subtle. I am originally from Puerto Rico and my hair texture is very different than Caucasian and African American women. I have never been able to find a stylist that knows how to cut and style my hair in a way that I like. I used to be so frustrated with my hair that I didn't care anymore how I looked. Allison has given me confidence by making me look radiant every time I leave her salon.

This may sound odd, but as the son of a hair dresser i have always been particular about my hair. I recently moved to Atlanta and struggled to find someone who i felt comfortable with and that i coudl trust to go back time after time. I think the relationship aspect of her business is huge and she has alwasy impressed me with her attention to detail and making me feel welcome at the salon everything time. I am that person who is constantly changing her hair. New job=new hair. New boyfriend=new hair... the list goes on. I like change. Needless to say, I have seen many hair styles and many hairdressers, and none have I ever been as loyal to or loved as much as Allison! She is always up for the challenge I present her, and knows when to say no to me... which is important, since I am always coming up with something new. First she greets you with that warm, welcome that makes you feel at home right when you walk in. She is spunky and alive and makes you look (and feel) fabulous! My cut always looks fresh, and different. My color is always meticulously placed and maintained. I have extremely thin, and curly hair... an extremely annoying combination that because of Allison's incredible talent now looks very full and shiny!!! She even takes the time to actually SHOW you how to style your new cut, so that you always look just as great as when you leave the salon! Once she even had me blowdry my own hair in front of her so that she could see what I was doing incorrectly, then she corrected me... She is the kind of stylist who really cares about her customers and it shows! I don't care what happens in the economy, I will always be an Allison McTigue fan!!! I moved to Atlanta last December 2007. I was getting married that May of 2008. I was in "dyer" need of a talented stylist that could get my hair in top condition for my wedding. ( I have had highlights since I was 16 and now I'm 25 and my hair hasn't exactly received all the necessary TLC it deserves to look silky and smooth if you know what I mean...) So, I looked and looked until I found a girl who had awesome highligts and I asked her who she went to - Allison. I made an appointment right away and from the moment I met her she had won me over. First, she was crazily welcoming and cool, making the experience fun and relaxed from the start. Second, she was very precise with her highlights, she let me know that she follows her pattern each visit and that actually makes the grow out look more natural, not skunk-tailish (she wasn't lying, I can go way longer between visits than I ever could) And Lastly, she recommended (not tried to sell to me like a car salesman) product that actually worked. All in all Allison is one cool chick who will keep my business, no matter how bad the economy gets...she is worth it! :)

Go see Allison McTigue if you need color, cut, highlights, whatever!! She is the best.
I have had my hair done by many different people over the years but no one ever comes close to making it look as good as Allison. She really understands what works best for me and won't do something that will turn out bad. She sees each person's face in a wondeful way and knows how to compliment it best. Her color is amazing each and every time. If you have seen Allison I'm sure you will continue doing so and if you have yet to see her, do yourself a favor and go!

I only had one person that had done my hair until I moved to Atlanta. I found Allison and now I will only have 2. She is great!! She understands style and keeps up with current trends and never lets me do anything that I will regret... The feel of the salon is always wonderful. I love he atmosphere and staff. I know this to be true because I have lived in two metroplition cities ( Boston and LA ) within the last five years, and none of the stylist in these cities could compare to Allison expertise with color and style. I tried multiple stylist in each city and it just seemed to get worse. Therefore, I began arranging appointments with Allison while living out of state and finding any excuse to fly back to Atlanta just to visit Allison ! Allison is the best hairstylist! Allison is extremely personable, an expert with color/highlights and always knows the latest trends with color and style. Allison knows my hair better than I do! I come in for my appointments and all I need to say to her is" work your magic" and she knows exactly what colors to mix, the style and cut to construct. If you're ever in a mood to try something new, Allison will talk it out with you to determine what you have in mind and make great recommendations that will fit you perfectly !! Allison has been my stylist and colorist for a little over two years now. I have recieved endless compliments on my hair! I followed Allison from her previous salon to B Bell, why: Simply put, Allison McTigue is "simply the best" She has been my stylist for five plus years. It takes an extremely adept, seasoned and talented stylist to croft a head of natural curly hair and to color it to perfection ... not may stylist can color natural red hair and make it look natural ... I 've had stylist refuse to have me as a client due to my hair being difficult but not Allison, she took this indomitable hair of mine with making it PURRFFect ... I highly recommend her to all. She is the best!

I have naturally curly hair and have, most of my life, had a difficult time finding stylists who can cut curly hair well. I went to Jim as a referral from a friend several years ago. I went in wanting a cut and to brighten up my naturally red color that's dulled some as I've aged. Jim is phenomenal!! He can make your hair funky or serious or just plain fun. He does a great job with my cut and color. And even more fun, he always straightens my hair so that when I leave the salon, all I do is hair model and refer people to him the next day! Jim is so good, that the girl who didn't get her hair cut for 4 years due to a really bad cut, has followed him from one salon to another for 5 years! Now, I just go in and say do your thing and ALWAYS come out looking great!

They take great care of you at the salon and you'll feel like you're with old friends. It's a great experience you won't regret!!

I use to go to Wilecia and Jaime at N'Seya but since they have moved to B Bell Salon i love it. It?s so nice, quiet and professional. I recommend anyone going to Jaime or Welecia. Both of them make you feel at home. Everything was perfect (their products, music, clients, co workers) I really loved it!!!!

Allison McTigue is the BEST to do hair in Atlanta. I have tried several salons and stylists in the city since moving here two years ago. I kept paying a lot of money for an okay haircut. I chose to go to Allison because of the close proximity to my house and her excellent reviews, and I was not let down. She definitely lived up to her reputation. I will recommend her to anyone who asks with confidence that she will do exactly what the client wants.

After going to many of the high_end salons in town and never being satisfied, a friend recommende I try Kayce Smith at BBell. WOW!!! I didn't deal with the snobby attitudes I'd become accustomed to, but rather a great, beautiful salon and Kayce's great personality! She's reasonably priced & does a GREAT job. I'll never go anywhere else.

Allison McTigue styled my hair last week, and I am very happy with the whole experience. I went to Allison so she could fix my hair from a bad hair cut I received from a different stylist. I think she did a beautiful job. She corrected the hair color and gave me a beautiful short style. The hair style has life and the color is now natural and rich. I have gotten many compliments about my hair. I was told it makes me look younger. Thank you, Allison. I look forward to seeing you again.

Allison McTigue at Color Bar in Buckhead is awesome! She is in a small salon where personal attention is a priority. The space is very friendly and comfortable. She has an online booking system which is fabulous for busy people!! And I always come out looking like a movie star (at least movie star hair!) I would recommend Allison to anyone looking for great color and cuts. I am very picky about my color and highlights and she is the best, hands down, that I have ever experienced! I just moved to Atlanta and have been a little skeptical of where to get my hair done. I was recently referred to Kayce by a co-worker and am so glad I was able to get an appointment! I am extremely happy with my color and cut. I felt so comfortable from the time I walked in. Kayce really took her time to listen to me but wout holding back on her ideas. She is really talented and friendly and the salon has a great vibe as well. I also needed a late a late appointment, as I work, and she was willing to stay as late as I needed. I will be referring any I meet to Kayce.

I am EXTREMELY picky about who styles and cuts my hair, so when I went to Allison the first time I was a little nervous trying a new stylist. After my first cut I can definitely say that I will only let Allison cut my hair. She always does a fabulous job and takes her time; making you feel like youre her only client. I just got my hair cut today after growing it pretty long. I was ready for a change a she did an awesome job with my cute short new du. Id definitely recommend her to anyone!
