I had the worst experience at this restaurant last night. I arrived at Sonic at 12:00 am and I didn't receive my food until 12:45. The manager came out at about 12:20 and told us our food would be free because of the long wait. During this time I am watching each person on that shift take and bring food out to other teenagers sitting under the umbrellas. No money was passed and when I asked the manager about it he said that they were just going to throw that food in the trash, but yet I am sitting in the car watching them make everything fresh and sit it on a tray to bring out to the other teenagers. I went to the manager and I told him how rediculous this is and that I would report it. His exact words were, "IF YOU CALL CORPORATE THEY WON'T DO NOTHING" He told me that his last day was August 14th and he apologized and made up another lie that our food was given away. He immediately addressed the disappointment of his staff, but yet he is helping them cook up food and serve it to all these kids who were high on drugs. I asked him to come and look into my car so he could see my 3 kids in the back who were exausted and ready to go home. I told him that while he is serving all these teenagers FOR FREE strung out on drugs, I am trying to get my kids home. I stood in the window at waited for them to finish my food. At 12:45 pm, when I finally received my food the Onion rings tasted like dirty grease and at that moment I was OUTDONE. I would NEVER EVER recommend going to this Sonic at night it was a horrible experience seeing a group of teenagers boys and girls out at midnight, one boy humping the ground, one girl's neck full of passion marks, one boy eyes open so wide looking around as if someone was chasing him, and here I sit at America's Favorite Drive-in seeing America's future blown away on substances that could possibly take their life. The really sad part is seeing the overseer,(the manager) watch all this go on and participate in the activity. Whoever owns this franchise needs to do an unexpected stop in visit to see what is taking place. Although I was angry at the service, my heart was also greiving for these babies. It was hard to have a good night sleep.
