Pricey but good

Definitely pricey but if you want a really nice night out with really good food and great service, Lamberts is definitely the place. Lots of fresh, local ingredients.

Upscale bbq was ok

I went to Lamberts with a group of friends. It was billed as "Upscale BBQ". It was definitely fancy, tableclothes, wonderful service, lovely ambiance, and all that.

The BBQ was even OK.

My problem is more that Lamberts has TOO much going on. The really pushed the "upscale" and not the "BBQ" as much as I would have hoped. I like a little "down home" with my BBQ. I place where I'm not afraid to get my fingers messy and really dig in. This was NOT the place for that.
