PETSITTERS PLUS

Both or our dogs have been going to Petsitters plus for over 2 years whenever we are away from Houston. The convenience of Petsitters plus service is matched only by their "can-do" attitude. Our dogs love them. It's gotten to the point where Lissa will pull up to pick them up and they will jump straight into her car and not look back. Recently our Mountain Dog got spooked and ran away. Unfortunately, i was in hospital and my fiance was out of the country. Lissa and Daryl joined the search immediately going above and beyond. We are so thankful to know that our fur-family is well taken care of when we are out of town.

Pros: Best place to send your dogs when you are out of town.

Lisa really cares. She is not only a wonderful responsible pet sitter but a genuine person who is professional and personable. She literally goes out of her way to offer exceptional customer care. My dogs and I love her....and recommend her 100%.

I have used Petsitters on several occassions while traveling for pleasure and business. I leave with complete confidence that my three elderly cats will receive superb care. I knew the moment Lissa walked into my home and my usually reserved cats immediately came to her and made it known they were comfortable with her that we had made a good decision. We were gone on an extended 4 week vacation in December 07 and she cared for our cats. She called us several times while we were gone to keep us posted. Normally when we leave our cats become stressed and/or ill. Under Lissa's are they were so well cared for they acted as if we had only been gone a few hours. They were happy, content, and healthy. I used to worry about my animals when I left home; now I leave them in the care of Petsitters Plus and never worry a moment. I highly recommend them to care for your cats or dogs. You will be very pleased.

Petsitters Plus came to my rescue yesterday after I found a beautiful purebred great dane wandering the streets near my house in the Heights. Even though I did of the things people say to do when you find a dog, the owner hadn't called by that evening. I had to find a kennel --- fast -- when the people who rent the house in front of my garage apt. freaked out that he was in the laundry room. The other kennels I called wouldn't board the great dane because he lacked medical records.

Pet sitters is the absolute best place to take your pets. Lisa and Daryl are soooo friendly and helpful and they really care about your pets. I have boarded my dog, who is full of energy, at their home quite often. When we pull up and he sees Daryl he goes crazy, cause he is so excited to be there. He gets plenty of exercise and is usually exhausted for at least a day when he comes home. They will even come pick your pet up at your home! What a great service. You can stop looking for your pet sitter, because they are the best and I couldn't be more happier with the service I have received.

Pros: you don't have to worry that your pets are caged up if doggie prison while you are gone

Pettsitters Plus is a Godsend! They 'll come to your house and pet sit or you can board them at their place. The boarding price includes a pick up/drop off service for your pet. Lissa is the contact person, and is very warm and knowledgeable. You get a wonderful feeling from her as soon as you talk to her. In the future, we will utilize the pick up/drop off service, but we wanted to check out the place for ourselves the first time. When we picked up our dog, Jake, we also met her partner Daryl. He is just as enthusiastic and caring about what he does as Lissa.

It was cold the night we were gone, so they crated the dogs inside at bedtime. Daryl told us that Jake was crying (he's not used to being crated), so he placed his pillow next to his crate and stayed beside him until he went to sleep! WOW! If that's not above & beyond, I don't know what is! The best part of all is that they allow the dogs to run the grounds. They have a fenced, one-acre yard, and if you desire, your dog gets to run and play with all of the other dogs. They test each dog first, and assimilate them one by one to make sure that they get along. In the late afternoon, they return to their HUGE run (much bigger than standard boarding places) to eat dinner and rest. Jake played so hard that he slept the entire way home in the car, and he never sleeps on his coveted car rides!

These folks like to keep things simple, and they don't have a website. They like to keep it personal and prefer to communicate by phone. I'll never worrky about my pets while I'm on vacation again, because I know that they will be getting a vacation of their very own!

Lissa and Darryl are the BEST. Their level of service, professionalism, attention to detail and genuine care for your pets is unreal. What makes them better than other pet sitters? They noticed on my calendar that my dog was due for her heartworm pill. They called to inform me and make sure it was ok to give it to her and marked the calendar for the following month. When I was low on medicine for my other dog, Lissa called to let me know exactly how many days I had left and that I should probably reorder. They sent pictures and videos of my pets while I was away, giving a daily update. They would even call from my home phone, so I would know they were at my house. I always know my pets are in good hands.

Going beyond pet sitting, they noticed on my pool that I was running the cleaner once a day. At Darryl's suggestion to save energy, he installed an extra timer for me at no charge, even though it required a trip to Home Depot! Also, I had a new rug that was turning up on the edges. Darryl emailed to ask if it was ok to use 2-sided tape to try to hold it down. Last trip, I asked Darryl to hang a new flat screen tv for me. He emailed pictures during the process, including one showing the mount with a level to show his meticulousness. Lissa and Darryl are an amazing duo who will do anything for you and your pets. They are doing what they love and it shows. They are all about the animals.

They consistently exceed any expectations I might have. Their honesty and communication make my business trips much less stressful.

Pros: I do not worry about my pets when I am out of town!

You can stop looking for a petsitter, Petsitters Plus is awesome! I travel a lot for work and was worried about finding a reliable petsitter in Houston that I could trust. Lissa is GREAT! I have used her many times. Sometimes giving her virtually no notice and extending trips indefinately. Also, she noticed immediately that my cat was not feeling good and took the time to take her to the vet (after calling for approval) and adminstered the necessary medications. I can not thank her enough for making my work/travel situation so easy and knowing that my animals are very well taken care of.

I had found this listing while looking for someone to care for my cats while we went on vacation. I found the rates were very competitive with the other companies/people in the area. During this call I spoke with Lissa who was very friendly, knowledgeable, and accomodating. She didn't treat me at all like I was neurotic although I requested that she come twice a day and call me once a day to let me know everything was fine. Although we were gone a day longer than we anticipated we returned home to find our cats happy and healthy and our home safe and secure. I would highly reccomend PetSitters Plus to anyone looking into hiring someone to care for their pets. They definetly treat your pets as their own and go above and beyond to make you feel at ease. I will absolutely be using them in the future.
