Mundae Cleaning & Restoration

I am a customer who had my carpets cleaned and a silk rug cleaned by them. The entire experience was a nightmare and I would never use them again and highly suggest everyone else stay away from them. They lied about how much they would charge, they lied on their web site about being members of the BBB and other organizations. But most of all, they left my carpets soaking wet and used awful chemicals on them. They grossly overcharged me for the rug and when I protested the cost, a whole team of Mundae people showed up in my house and started intimadating me. I had to ask them to leave.
Someone from Mundae must write all of these glowing reports for CitySearch. They do not sound real. They are certainly not the Mundae cleaners that showed up at my house. I previously wrote a report about my experience with Mundae on CitySearch and I guess Mundae had it removed. But I am telling the truth - they are HORRIBLE!!!!

Quick, timely, well done!? Today I had my carpets cleaned by Rey and Mario, and it was wonderful. First off, they showed up right on time and I received a courtesy call before they got there. They were both VERY professional and hard working.

Let me tell you a little story about Mundae Carpet Cleaning services. I have a cute little dog that has had accidents in the past. So I chose to treat the stains myself with some stuff from the grocery store. Needless to say, it did not work. Plus, foot traffic and paw traffic had turned my beige carpet grey. Since I live in Houston, I decided to give this company a try. Mundae Carpet Cleaning had no hidden charges. The price I was quoted over the phone, included stain removal and everything. The technician removed all the pet stains from my carpeting. The cleaning work was completed within about thirty minutes. Worth your time.

I called them orginally for tile & grout cleaning + carpet stretching. The team arrived on time and was very friendly. One of the tech gave me an honest opinion about they can not remove the "rust" things in the grouts by their machine before they start the job. So I decided just to let Mundae crews work on the carpet stretching. The carpets were well stretched but they did not have a vaccum to vaccum the lose particles up after they trimmed the carpets. Overall, they did a fine job and the tech, Mario, was a honest, efficient man!

I used their service for the first time last week, although I know a few carpet cleaning companies in Houston it was the first time I used them, first but not last for sure. This carpet clenaing company is providing excellent carpet cleaning service for a very reasonable price.

I just wanted to log in and express my gratitude to the whole crew about cleaning my Indian rug. I have had it forever and when my friend spilt her coffee on it I was heartbroken. I called Mundae and they came out and picked up the rug for free. They not only got rid of the coffee stain, but also made the colors look brighter than before. I am glad I chose them to take care of my rug.

I would recommend them to anyone, who needs professional, eco-friendly carpet cleaning service. I have kids and dogs, that?s why I was very particular about the safety of their cleaning solutions, when I was scheduling my carpet cleaning appointment. The technicians who came to my house were very knowledgeable and patiently answered all my safety-related questions. A great plus of the solutions they used was the short drying time. My carpets were practically dry in an hour and a half. Altogether, excellent experience!!!

I am a small business owner and I operate a retail store. I hired Mundae to work on the tile floors in my store. Delvin and Borko worked hard to remove scratches and dirt from heavy traffic areas. When they started the floors looked dull and uneven. By the time they were done, the tile gave out a nice gloss shine. The cleaning they provided was professional and thorough. Their office representatives accommodated my schedule so we did not have any down time and we did not miss any business. I am going to continue conducting business

Their technicians took the time to tell me about the appropriate ways to care for my carpet. They also got rid of tough spots and gave me some useful tips on how to deal with spots right after they appear. Those guys were really cleaning my carpets, not just moving the dirt around. The results were absolutely fantastic and the price was great, having in mind the quality of the service.

They cleaned our carpet on the weekend and we love the results. Many of the stains I tried to take out myself disappeared after they cleaned the carpet...best of all everything was dry in less than four hours. Obviously they know what their customers want and they can provide it. I will use them again.

I needed a sofa cleaned as well as my carpets. I looked on City Search and called 3 or 4 places that seemed to have good ratings. To my surprise, at least three of them led back to the same agency. Mundae, City Clean, and Houston Carpet Cleaning and Restoration are all apparently the same company. I made an appointment with them, largely becuase of the reviews and info on the websites for these companies that indicated they were experts in cleaning different types of upholstery and would carefully pick the right method for your fabric. On the plus side, the technicians were on time and were very polite. They did an adequate job on the carpet, but they left it much wetter than other companies have done in the past. They also put down an extra 'deep cleaning' agent without my permission and then said I only had to pay for it if I liked the results. Of course, I have no idea how it would have turned out without the extra spray, and it cost an extra $25 per area. As for the sofa, they really only had two methods--steam cleaning or vaccuming. My fabirc label said not to steam clean, so they vaccummed. I honestly think I could have done just as well on my own. Bottom line, this multi-named company really does not have the expertise or equipment that the websites would lead you to believe. I am disappointed overall and will not call them again.

I had spilled red wine on a hand woven wool rung. I called them and told them I had tried everything to get it out. They told me they would clean the rug and if needed ,bleach the fringe or repace it. they quoted me a price and I had them pick it up. When they picked it up they told me they would do the "super dooper" cleaning/deodorizing, etc. for an extra $50 and I told them ok. When the rug was returned to me the stain was still on it. I asked them about the bleaching and they told me they couldn't do it. When I asked them about replacing the fringe they told me it was an additional $150. My total cost to receive my stained rug back close to $300. I will never use them again.

The Results are unbelievable. My full stained carpet in the living room transformed to be a new invironment. It feels fresh and smells like a garden scent. They explained everything from A to Z. I wanted my carpet cleaned and the pad replaced. This was explained over the phone and to the technician upon arrival. The technician was over 2 hrs late for the appt. He would not give me an estimate to replace the pad and after being here for 2 hrs finally gave me a price that was over double what was expected. He then said that somebody else from the company would give me the exact price. Then he kept trying to replace the entire carpet, not the area in question. He also expected to be able to go to any carpet company and replace my current carpet w/ the exact color! I would not recommend this company to anybody for any reason.

My experience with Mundae was awsome. We needed a quality carpet cleaner but did not know anything about the industry. Mundae was very Honest, Professional and most importantly on-time. We will try them again for other services as well.

We needed a down to earth company who consisted of easy to work with people. First we tried to rent a Rug Machine from the supermarket, but we will never try that again?.. To make a long story short, the Mundae Carpet Cleaners were really good to us. The prices were surprisingly competitive and the service was seamless. On time, Professional, Confirmation call, Follow up thank you call, Ect, Ect?? WOW. Very cool guys. Plus we only live in a 1 bed apt but they still seemed to treat us as a very valuable customer. I would recommend this service. I received a written quote to have my couch cleaned and deoderized. I can honestly say that the work that they completed was very good. My couch never looked or smelled better.

This company has ruined my silk Chinese rug and has so far refused to make it right. Their customer service has been terrible. Note that they are the same company as Cityclean. Don't use either of them.

I HIGHLY recommend this company! I Contacted them on short notice when another vendor cancelled at the last minute. Best thing that could have happened. Within two hours Mario and Steve arrived, made a detailed analysis and assesement of the work requested, provided a written estimate, and performed the necessary work.(Carpet repair and cleaning). EXCEPTIONAL quality of workmanship, at a very competitive and reasonable rate.

My carpet looks awesome!!! I haven't cleaned my carpets in 2-3 years so I was sure that some of the stains were not going to come out or they would reappear after a few days... Mundae came out last week and my carpet looks AMAZING, NO STAINS! Mundae prices are great,they're super friendly and they have great customer service, I'll never go anywhere else...
