Had a weave with Catherine. Fell apart rather fast. I hate to complain, but I was not pleased. She is a nice women, don't get me wrong, she was a sweet woman, but the quality wasn't great of the work.

I started getting extensions with Catherine 3 years ago. I have fine, thin, frizzy curly hair that breaks easily and would only grow to shoulder length. We started with 2 tracks of hair to achieve length to my lower middle back. Catherine insisted I get small trims on my hair, use good products and basically take good care of my own hair. I eventually got to one track of hair to fill out my ends and add a few inches as my own hair grew to about 2-3 inches past my shoulders. My hair was still fine, frizzy, and unruly but it was healthier and did grow some. Catherine kept mentioning the Coppola Keratin treatment for my hair and that it would make my hair controllable, take out the frizz, and fill in my weak fragile ends. I was hesitant but she kept bringing it up so I finally tried it. OMG! - Coppola changed my life. I?ve since repeated the treatment 3 times. My hair doesn?t frizz ever ? it is soft, wavy, and does not puff out like it use to. I let it air dry and go. I still wear 1 piece of hair extension to thicken up my hair - but my own hair is now to the middle of my back and healthy. It?s like I have someone else?s hair! Catherine goes above and beyond ? truly amazing!

VERY , VERY BAD quality of work. Catherine does not listen to a client, VERY poor service and DAMAGING to your hair. I had my extensions done only to have it removed because of EXTREME irritation at the starting sites of the extension. The salon where I had them removed, ALL extension specialists ( 3 at the moment) were horrified and the tightness the extensions were put in : literally ripping my hair out. I have SCABS all over my head at the moment, but at least I reacted fast enough not to have permanent damage. I've had extensions before and NEVER had any problems. I do NOT have a sensitive skull she was trying so hard to convince me I did. ( confirmed at the BETTER place) The one poor review that was in before mine - TAKE IT INTO ACCOUNT. I read Catherine's reply to it and thought that is was just an angry customer raveling. I WISH i listened. Go to a more expensive place. $800 later all I have is scabs on my head, RUINED weave ( she cut it ,so it completely unraveled , leaving me with "gorgeous" tails of hair all over wherever I went) , and NO extensions. I'll need to wait a few weeks for my head to heal , and THEN I am going to go to a more reputable place. CAtherine talks about "properly put it extensions that do not damage hair", "proper technique", and does NONE of those. DO NOT GO if you want to KEEP YOUR HAIR.

Catherine is very experienced and will always go above and beyond to create the hair you've always wanted. I have had extensions for about six months now and I only wish I had found her sooner. I love my hair: the quality and the color. It is also not as pricey as most other places are. I highly recommend Custom Hair by Catherine!

Catherines work is top notch! I trust Catherine 100% to protect the quality and health of my hair. Catherine cuts, and highlights my hair every 8 week. I recently tried the Kopolla keratin protein treatment which I loved over the summer months. My hair texture is fine & frizzy and this made my hair smooth shiny. I had a truly frizz free summer.
Catherine also made me a custom hair piece that integrates with the color & texture of my hair perfectly! It gives me fullness, it can be washed, curled, and is so easy to put in. I'm proof that overpaying in pricey salons is a huge waste of money. They really don't take care of your hair. Thanks Catherine!

Had a hair weave from Catherine. Two months later when I removed the hair, I had a bald spot. To this day, I still have a bald spot. The hair weaves are not done well at her salon.

She was also rued, and the hair quality is very poor.

I consulted with Catherine regarding clip-in hair extensions for my wedding abroad. Although my very fine and slippery hair would not normally take extensions very well for a variety of reasons, she personally made me a clip-in with gorgeous, very high quality, soft hair that worked well with my own and taught me how I can use it without it sliding out. I have yet to use it for my wedding, but after I do, Catherine also offered to change the insertion method to invisible wire so that I can use it more easily on my own on a casual/daily basis. She obviously cares very much about the product and her clients! Thank you!!!

I went to get a long layered cut on my almost waist length hair and ended up with chopped up, neck length hair??I found Catherine through google/citysearch reviews which are dead on! I now have long layered hair while my own hair is growing out. I also intend to stay with Catherine for haircuts and styling after my own hair grows out. She is a pro!

I?ve received tons of compliments! My hair looks really good ? I was actually surprised how good it looked after having done it on my own for the first time and how easy it is to do. All the reviews I read about Catherine are right on. I finally have the long, lustrous hair I?ve always dreamed of. Thanks a million!

I am very happy with my hair extensions from Catherine. The hair is soft and silky and matches perfectly.
She is truly a professional in all aspects of her work. I also have to say that her prices for the quality of work and hair are really a great value. She should be charging more! I really shopped around and did a lot of research. I also have a friend who paid a lot more money and the hair she received is falling out in less than a few months and overall does not look natural as it is dry and does not blend well. Needless to say, I have recommended Catherine to her.

Catherine's specialty seems to be hair extensions but she cut my hair and it was the best haircut I have ever had. She is very easy going and nice and she spent alot of time figuring out exactly what I wanted and made sure afterwards that I liked it. I got TONS of compliments. I highly reccomend her!

Catherine was my third try at hair extensions. I wanted hair extensions to have a longer, fuller look for my wedding. I started with individuals. I paid a lot of money only to find out that in less than 3 months (not the ?up to 6 months? I was told), I had to completely start over. The color was also a little different than my own hair which was definitely noticeable. I went to someone else and tried again and ended up with extensions that were not full enough, long enough, and the color was not exact. I also didn?t like the fact that with individual bonding, the removal process was pulling out my hair along with the extension hair and you can see and feel the individual bonding pieces over my whole head which bothered me when sleeping. My wedding was fast approaching and I was panicking. I found Catherine on the internet and made a consultation appt. I have to say, ?Wow!? What a different experience from start to finish. Catherine is truly someone who ?cares? about her work. She is very methodical about making everything ?perfect?. I was very nervous by the time I went to see her and she went above and beyond to assure me that I was going to get what I wanted ? longer, fuller, luxurious looking hair. And most importantly, she delivered. She also did beautiful highlights on my roots and corrected the brassy tone throughout my ends. I strongly recommend checking this lady out.

I recently moved back to New York from Philadelphia and my hair color was very over-processed blonde highlights. Catherine did a combination of lowlights and highlights that turned my hair color from cheap looking to classy. She did a beautiful job and my hair looks shiny and vibrant again. I would recommend her to anyone.

I was a sales manager for Jingles for several years and have seen just about everything that has to do with hair. I was looking for someone who was concerned with the integrity of my hair as it is dry, curly, and very gray.
I met Catherine through a friend and was very impressed by her in depth knowledge of color, products, and styling ideas. So I made an appointment for a color and cut. I like my hair very dark and the Schartzkopf color she uses is absolutely beautiful. My color is rich, shiny, and natural looking and it covers my gray and does not fade. The color seems to actually condition my hair. Since I?ve been going to Catherine my hair feels softer, looks healthier, and my ends are in much better condition. I also love the way she cuts my hair. My hair is very curly and I wear it both curly and straight. Catherine knows how to cut into it to give me a great shape but does not over layer it - so I don?t have stringy ends or unruly curls. She also styles it straight to perfection!
I highly recommend going to Catherine as she is truly a professional who is very focused and accommodating.

I am so thankful I found Catherine! I previously had hair extensions and had breakage from the bonding. It was a nightmare! I was desperate to have any kind of look. A friend referred me to Catherine since she has many years experience working with hair extensions. Catherine was patient and very precise about what could be done to my hair. The integrity of my hair was her first priority and she is very knowledgeable about hair extension techniques. I could not believe my eyes when my extensions were finished. My hair looked healthy, shiny, and was the length I wanted in the first place. The color and texture matched perfectly. Her technique has not damaged my own hair as it is growing out healthy and shiny. I?ve had the same extension hair for 7 months and it still looks healthy, shiny, and natural. She is a master!

I first went to Catherine for hair extensions because I saw a girl with incredibly silky, beautiful,long hair walking down the street and asked her where she got her hair done. She told me it was hair extensions from Catherine and I was shocked. I had seen other people's hair extensions before and this girl's hair was nothing like those.
So, I went to Catherine for a consultation and it was so worth it. Catherine is truly an artist and the ultimate professional. She spent time asking me what I was comfortable with and trying different styles and lengths with my own hair before we decided on one. She did not push or try to sell me and it became clear that she is a detailed perfectionist, takes immense pride in her work and really cares that her clients get exactly what they want. The process she uses is unique, simple and and extremely long-lasting. I couldn't believe how amazing my hair looked. Nobody, I mean NOBODY had any clue I had extensions. Jaws dropped. Many people told me they were the best they had ever seen. And, because Catherine is a master at cutting and coloring hair, she styled and shaped my extensions to fit my mood when I came back for trims. I HIGHLY recommend Catherine for anything to do with your hair. She is an experienced, caring expert who makes sure that you walk out of the salon ecstatic and beautiful.

I now have a full healthy head of hair!!! My own hair is thin and stringy. Catherine filled out my own hair with beautiful extension hair that matches perfectly. She also did my highlights and a cut. The color is rich and natural which left my hair in better condition. It is the best ever! What a difference-truly amazing! I feel like a new person!!

Catherine has done my hair for over 7 years...not only my extensions but my color and highlights as well.
The quality of the hair in the extensions is what I noticed first.....Catherine has the highest quality in extensions I have ever seen. They last longer too.

I have very fine, soft hair. Catherine made sure to blend the exact mix of Italian and european hair for my extensions to blend perfectly with my own hair.

I met Catherine while modeling in NYC, and now that I have relocated to Los Angeles & Santa Fe, I still order my extensions from her when I am in town...as I am not willing to sacrafice quality on any level.

The hype of 'trademark' extensions brands did not work for me, as the quality just was NOT there. Catherine does 'custom' work, and the realism is beyond compare....I will never go to anyone else.
