Behind the dark grey exterior of this West Hollywood behemoth lies an over-the-top stunner of enormous proportions--think Russia by way of Vegas. Birch-lined walls, vaulted wood truss ceilings, polished glass accents and plasma TV screens add to the visual drama, while conversations in Russian among staff and guests lend an air of authenticity. In addition to two traditional Russian saunas (banyas), the spa features a Finnish dry sauna, Turkish wet steam bath, indoor swimming pool, outdoor patio and ten treatment rooms. Signature treatments include the Russian Bear Massage and platza, which uses oak or birch branches to loosen tense muscles.

Voda Spa used to be good

by M D.

I've been to Voda Spa a few times. The best massage therapist there was Andriy, but unfortunately he no longer works there. I've tried others, but they don't compare. That's what sucks about day spas, you find someone you like and then they disappear. Anyone know where Andriy ended up?

My wonderful Spa

by Bill M. | insider Insider | Rank: 29,225

I simply love this place! Especially everything that is connected with customer service, gift certificates and spa itself... Perfect!
Sometimes I am envious of people who come to Voda Spa for the first time and get the same amount of attention and care as I do.
But, I understand that they are professionals and provide everyone with equal opportunities!

I'll never stop using their services!

Worth visiting this place

by Nick B.

I have visited this place for several times. If you ask why I do it again and again I would I am 100% satisfied with SPA here. In some other places SPA is great but personal does not understand your needs. Only here everything is really great. I advise everybody to visit this place

Best Banya ever!

by Anonymous

I'm an opinionated and demanding Russian, so definitely not a person who would give 5 star ratings to anyone, especially when it comes to an old Russian tradition - the Banya. Whatever criticism I want to give those guys, my conscience bars me out - they are that good! The venik, the steamroom, the smell of heated wood in the banya - all of this can't leave any truly Russian soul untouched! Right on guys, and mega kudos to Voda Spa!

Great spa, nice atmosphere

by Anonymous

I visited Voda twice - in October last year and this April. Both visits were awesome! I took body wrap and massage and then just swam in the pool. Good place, the pricing may seem a bit high though, but this is until you've got to know the quality of this spa. Highly recommended!

I am a regular visitor of this place. Nice service. Everyone there welcomes you with a very warm feeling. This is the best place where you can enjoy fantastic hour-long massages at incredibly reasonable prices believe me I tried so many places but this one really rocks. I will never go somewhere else even it would be cheaper!!!

No "SPA" here

by Anonymous

My husband and I recently went to Voda Spa for a couples message and it was everything but Spa like. Our visit started out by the front desk attendant asking us to put some valuable into their safe..it was mandatory that we put something belonging to us in it! Ok, now how SPA like is that?! The room we had our massage in wasnt warm at all. And they were very bare. It looked like if you turned the lights on youd be at the doctors office. And to top it off, right after the massage therapist gave us our massages, they asked us to sign our bill!!!! In our massage room! Didnt offer us water first or anything like that. I mean how SPA like can it be when someone shoves a $400.00 bill in you face a second after your massage is done? The owners were also walking around and cleaning things. They kept looking at us. it was creepy. Im sure that was their own way of making sure we were have a good time but I found it very intrusive and awkward.
The actual Place you could tell was very new and they had spend lots of money building it. But unfortunately the customer service that one would expect from a spa was not there at all.
We would not recommend this place .

An Amazing Spa Experience

by machi16

I had the best time here. My girlfriends threw the first part of my bachelorette party here a few weeks ago. What an amazing place. They couldn't have picked a better venue. The spa is very modern and contemporary with a European feel. It's not crowded and not commercial like other spas can be. We started off with a spa lunch and martinis in their cafe. The staff/waitress was very pleasant. The owner made himself known to us and he was so kind. A very friendly man who welcomed us. My manicure was amazing as well as my 50 minute relaxation massage. I've had both treatments at many places, but this was just perfect. My french mani was very carefully done, and the massage pressure was perfect. We all got a tour of the spa and it is unlike any spa in LA. The steam rooms and saunas each have a different name and have a different temperature ranging from the mid 200 degrees to the mid 100 degrees. I love that the pools (hot tub, pool and ice bath) are all co-ed so it's a perfect place for couples to enjoy. I had a wonderful experience from entering through the doors to the moment we left. Thank you for an amazing experience. I will definitely be back!"

Pros: Best all around spa in LA

Cons: none!

FANTASTIC SPA

by londonsky08

My first time at Voda Spa was this weekend. I had an amazing time. Had a delicious lunch in the lounge and fantastic drinks in the bar. My massage and body scrub by Alex was fantastic....I can hardly wait for another massage with her. The facial is amazing and after your skin is so radiant. I can see myself going once a month for a facial at Voda Spa. The Platza is so unique and after the treatment you feel so invigorated. We were all treated so well by all the staff. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. When you walk into the Spa you just say WOW. The spa is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend Voda Spa to anyone looking for a great experience. I will definitely be back!!!!

Pros: beautiful spa, amazing treatments and wonderful staff

Cons: none!!!

Wonderful

by TomV

Went to Voda with a co-ed group and had a phenomenal time. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The therapists are talented and definitely earn their keep. The spa menu has lots of really unique options--like the platza--that make it a real treat. It may be one of the best spa experiences I've ever had. Thank you, Rose, for an awesome massage! And thank you VodaSpa for a great day.

Pros: Great facility, excellent therapists, fantastic food

Fantastic Experience

by Joaquin

From the receptionist to the massage therapists and everyone in between top level service i have ever had. Being it my first time being at a spa all other spas definitely have a standard to meet. Voda Spa transports your mind and body to shut out the outside world and come into their space/world for however long you want to. The plus side is this place closes at midnight so if your out and about in the west side and need to wind down from a busy night , its the relaxation destination.

Pros: A-List Celebrity Treatment even though im not a celebrity

Cons: No complaints here

Love This Spa!

by crose1313

Voda Spa is a great place to be especially on the weekend and is fun with friends you can eat lunch, have drinks and relax at the same time! I love the trendy hotel/ resort feel and everyone is super nice and not snobby which I just cannot stand. I have been to spa's all over LA and this one is definitely one of the BEST yet. I will be back to Voda Spa a lot that's for sure.

Pros: Very relaxing and has a trendy resort feel!

Cons: No cons.

Not so much...

by ronlee

While the space is impressive, I did not have a good experience at this "spa". First of all, upon check in, I was asked to leave some of my valuables in a safety deposit box. What?!
In addition, there was a family there. I'm sorry but it seems very inappropriate for children to be jumping in the pool and jacuzzi at a spa. I tried to get some peace by heading into the steam room where I found multiple couples talking and giving eachother massages with oil. Ok. So I tried the "relaxation room" which was basically also a singles scene where men were receiving footrubs from women and a loud sports game blared from the TV. My massage was nice but I was completely distracted from this jarring experience. Skip it.

Only if you're into the whole coed spa experience...

by LKH137

I was given a gift certificate for an 80 massage at Voda, and was STRONGLY encouraged to come over an hour early to indulge in their many saunas. I was a bit taken aback to learn that the pool, jacuzzi and saunas are all co-ed. Personally, I felt awkward as the only female around, with a bunch of large, hairy Russian men. The saunas themselves were very nice, but it was hard to relax as the only woman surrounded by men. I also found it awkward being overseen by the male workers who stand around the pool areas and watch the clients "relax". I was told I would be taken into a waiting room 10 minutes prior to my massage appointment, but I wound up realizing it was 5 minutes til, and finding my own way there. My massage began late, but ended promptly. The therapist was very sweet, though a bit chatty for my taste, which I found distracting but I couldn't bring myself to be rude and ask her to be quiet. After the massage I was forced to put my cold, wet bathing suit BACK ON since the thin terry cloth robes they give you are rather transparent. Immediately following my massage I was handed a bill to fill out the tip portion, which I found REALLY ODD. Certainly something that would be better handled at the front desk-- I felt bad for my massage therapist having to basically ask me to tip her as part of her routine (clearly instituted by managment). Then I wasn't sure what on earth to do with the bill since the therapist had dashed off, so a worker took it for me to the front desk. The locker room was small, and two hair brushes came apart in my hand while trying to blowdry my (tangle free) hair. The woman at the front desk said it must have been because of my long hair, but I frankly have never had a brush break in two on me before... I also found that it would have been nice to have plastic bags available for your wet bathing suit (required, since the place is coed) . Overall not my cup of tea.

Pros: saunas, easy parking

Cons: co-ed

Great spa for couples! Full bar & great food!

by Jarmmy

Being from out of town, we relied on the website for our Monday "day at the spa". We were
pleasantly surprised and loved the entire experience. Great idea having a full bar area w/ flat
screen TVs and a co-ed facility. How many times have you gone to the spa with your hubby
only to say goodbye once you arrive to be secluded by gender. Super clean, great saunas/ steam
rooms and a great massage. The food was a little slower than usual arriving, but was GREAT
once we got it. The owners were very nice and eager to hear our input. The VIP room is really a cool
concept- own jacuzzi, private massage room, couch and flat screen. Great room for anything from a
bridal party to a couples birthday event.

The modern fire/water/wood theme is really neat!

Things to improve: Only 2 things: First would only be the water issue. Definitley need more cucumber or lemon spa water easily accessible from all sauna locations. Walking to a water fountain to fill a plastic cup
is not appealing and does not promote all the hydrating you need to do at a spa... especially a spa
that has so many different types of saunas. We left there very dehydrated. Pitchers of infused water
can easily be stationed in the locker rooms, near the iced-washcloths and in all the waiting areas.
Infuse the water then strain into pitchers or caraffes if you don't want to actually float fruit or cucumbers.
A green tea or herbal tea area would also be nice.
Second would be more lounge chairs by the pool.

I cannot wait to come back with my husband. Very nice spa experience!

Pros: Great treatments, saunas, steam room, full bar, cafe, staff, extremely CLEAN

Cons: No spa water to drink or tea, not enough lounge chairs at pool

Amazing atmosphere, best massage!

by peacefaery

I have been here a few times and have never been disapointed! The Platza is a really unique experience and I recommend it highly!! I have gotten massages from both Dani and Jen and they were amazing!! I go for deep work and I felt like I got what I needed...but you need to make sure to ask for deep tissue at the desk. Swedish here is true Swedish!! I got some kind of red tea I can't remember the name of it and it was soothing and refreshing. Very clean and new facility. Way better than Burke if you ask me!

Pros: Everything is modern, original treatments from Russia, great treatments!

Cons: Parking is a little weird, the parking is double in spaces so you may have to leave your key at the front.

not so spa

by tracyoco

I am confused after reading the reviews... My experience was not so spa -I was given a gift card thank god but would not put this on my spa list. The lobby was nice and I was given attention by the front desk. As I went up stairs there was no sign of perks of spa .. tea, water, apples something .. but nothing was in sight. When I asked for water the girl said I need to ask the front desk. You would think at 150 bucks a treatment you would drink water from a glass with some sliced lemons or cucumbers. Anyway I moved on to my wrap where the room was freezing and I shivered throughout my treatment until I could get in the warm shower... Very strange experience and kind of stressful. A spa is supposed to be relaxing but this was far from. You sit on hard benches until someone greets you. It was bizarre and not for me. Burke Williams is better -- so much for trying something new very disappointing. oh... I ordered a smoothie - mango something and was brought something with blueberries and strawberries clearly not a mango in sight - filled to the brim - over flowing to be exact in a plastic cup --- nice spa if it was half the price . I guess people go for the pool and to smoke on the patio ( they kept saying I could go and smoke) not very wise if you are having a facial -- not my thing -- disappointing - i was clearly bummed

Amazing Experience!!!

by NapDoc

I have been to Voda Spa a few times now and I try something new there every time. The facilities are impressive and impeccably clean. The service is amazing. Last time I was there, I tried a facial for a first time ever and found my stress just melted away. Overall, this place has everything you need for a day or an evening (as I prefer) of relaxation.

Pros: Fantastic facilities, great hours, friendly staff

Cons: Yet to find any

Great facilities! Mal massage...

by vivaviva

The pool! The cocktails! the steam bath! But then it came to the massage and I found out that there interpretation of a swedish massage is the princess and the pea massage. I tried to ask for it harder and instead was schooled on prices names and that the apropriate time to inform my masseuse on my desired pressure level comes before she has layed a hand on my body. Cest la vie! It could be my fault.. But then I had another run in which involved her asking me to sign her--I did massage her waver-- while watching me scramble through my bag completely exposed. The massage had now lost all purpose and I am much more flustered and stressed then when I walked into the place. So i get to the desk and theres the whats wrong we love to here complaints so I start to explain that I am not one to generally apreciate paying 100 dollars for a superficial "massage"... And it just wouldnt end. I wanted to pay leave keep my mouth shut, but OY VEY I wish this place was better. I really liked the building. Definetly get a deep tissue, I geuss voda thinks the sweeds are princess'.

Pros: pool

Cons: service

Voda Spa Rocks !

by jaybearman

I have been to day spas before and let me say that they have nothing on Voda Spa. When you first walk in, you immediately get the impression that you are in a 4 star hotel lobby. Beautiful architecture, colors, ambiance all just added to the tranquil feeling.

I thought I was just going for a massage, but ended up going from sauna to sauna incorporating cold and hot techniques which turned my body into melting butter. It was amazing !!

After an hour or so of this, I got a fresh smoothie from the poolside juicebar, relaxed in the relaxation room room until i was retreived for my massage.

Again, this was the most wonderful thing i have ever had, especially after being so relaxed from the various saunas and water pools.

I would highly recommend it to anyone, even if you dont want a massage or special treatment, but you can go just for the saunas and water pools. A half day is recommended to get the full effects of all they have to offer.

Celebrity class spa

by ipozin

I've been to many spa's across the country. Voda Spa is by far in the top 3. Definitely #1 in LA without question. The facility is high-class, everything is brand new and exquisite. The attendants are always at your beck and call and the steam room and saunas are perfect. The deep-tissue massage that I got was one of the best. Definitely would recommend without question. As a plus, when getting a treatment, you get full access to the whole facility, which you can literally spend 4+ hours in. Did I mention they have some of the best crab cakes?!

Pros: Open late hours, plenty of parking, everything new and top class, best treatments

Cons: none yet - I've been here twice so far.

This is not a Good place...

by colbyc

Though the women were nice who performed my friend and my spa pedicaures...the service itself was NOT worth $50. It was pitched as an hour long procedure and we were out in 30 minutes. You get more services then a basic pedicure for $22 on Melrose.

The chairs were not comfortable, no music, a side room at the spa that was bright, not much massage involved, and the spa smells like food from their restuarant.

It was not a good experience. Over the phone they pitch that it is a VIP type spa and it is NOT.

I go to many spas and I hate complaining but this was over priced and lacked services."

Pros: Nice staff

Cons: Cleintle, smell, bright lighting, over priced

I have been going here since it has opened. I have been to many of the other spas in the LA area, but this one is by far the best. The people know you by first name, you don't get the corporate feeling like you do at other places. The place is simply beautiful and the therapists are all great.

Pros: service

Nice for a girls day at the spa

by winterariel

I gave this spa 4 stars but with certain caveats.

My friend and I wanted to do a girls day at the spa and we checked out citysearch for recommendations. We ended up choosing Voda Spa.

The spa facilities - they were great! I had a great time using the dipping pools, different saunas (3 different types!) and steam room. This part of the trip was extremely enjoyable. My friend I spent a few hours doing the rotations and relaxing. The relaxation room was nice, although it had TVs in it and I thought that took away from the ambiance a bit.

The treatment - I have to say, the facial I got was not worth $125 - no way. I am not sure how other treatments are at this spa, but I would not return. To be honest, it was my first facial so I'm not sure whether it's just facials in general that don't impress me, however I didn't feel it was worth it. The staff was nice and pleasant to be around, but like I said, treatments were extremely over priced in my opinion.

I would give the facilities 4 1/2 stars (docking only because some areas were a bit loud and they didn't have water accessible).

The treatment would get 2 stars because of the price and lack of impressiveness.

The food at the restaurant and price get 5 stars - decent food with a good price (I got a greek salad and chicken panini for $8.50)

Overall, I think I would pay the $50 to just use the facilities all day and skip the spa treatment services.

Pros: The spa facilities were great, open very late

Cons: Appointment started lated, dissatisfied with the facial - overpriced

Big Dissappointment!

by frogdoglover

OK, I went to this place 6 months ago and gave it a raving review. I now have to take it back. Upon entering I noticed there were no familiar faces and the therapist I requested was no longer there. I opted to try someone new and was not pleased at all. She was not friendly, did not listen to where my problem areas were and just did what she wanted to do. Not relaxing and the room was very cold. Sorry, Voda, you lost my vote and I won't ever be coming back again.

Pros: Nice looking place, but very cold

Cons: High turnover with massage therapists. Could it be the management?

The Golden Ages of Service are Back!!!

by Euniceyoga

My husand and I, who are spa addicts, recently discovered voda spa, driving by. We frequent spas at least twice a week and have traveled all over the world visiting spas, and I have to say that voda spa has topped our list of favorites. The building does not reveal the wonderous architectural design when you enter. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were warm and inviting. They were all smiles which is hard to find nowadays. I treated myself to a facial and a chocolate pedicure (it smells incredible) while my husband relaxed with a swedish massage. The staff that performed our services were genuinely caring and highly skilled and seemed very proud to be working there as one suggested to try the "platza" treatment and another suggested eating the Chicken Tequila Sandwich in the cafe, (apparently he eats it every time he works)...The lady in the locker room treated me like a queen. She placed a mat before I stepped in the shower, and when she heard me coughing later on, asked if I'd like some lemon or cucumber water to help with the tickle in my throat. The Spa Director introduced herself to us which made us feel as if the spa valued our business. She, too, was genuine, and told us if there was anything we needed at all, to let her know and she would take of us. She did suggest Women's Day for me which seems tantalizing, because while I love my husband, it's nice to get together with just the girls. I highly suggest this place. It's high end with a warm feel. My husband is going to try the Four Hand massage next time!

Pros: Service, Service, Service

Cons: None that I could think of

I went to the spa to with my friends to get massages and enjoy the facilities and the experience was very bad. I like the pool, the jacuzzi and the saunas, but they are still missing a lot in the service side of it. My massage therapist was 25 mins late and I ended up walking out from my massage because the quality wasn't good at all. The rooms look cheap and not welcoming. They were playing football at the ' relaxation suite' downstairs and the crowd that was there was very loud. My friends complaint about the massages as well and agreed that they were not worth 175 dollars... The personnel needs training to raise the customer service level, they were nice but very inexperienced.

Pros: Pool, saunas, juices

Cons: Inexperienced Therapists, Massages, noisy, customer service, parking

Hidden Jewel in Weho!

by mo23

I checked out this spa for the first time and fell in love right away. The staff is super nice and the facility is beyond beautiful. I had the "wild berry siberian scrub" (its was very refershing) and also had lunch. Lunch was delicious and the juice bar by the pool was a huge plus. I would definietly come back and would recommend this place to others! This is what Weho needs. Hidden JEWEL in West Hollywood.

Pros: Open until MIDNIGHT!!!

Terrific experience - great facility - curteous staff - love this SPA!!!

by NelliGrd

I have discovered Voda Spa about 4 month ago and have been coming almost every Wednesday since. I've tried a few different massage treatments - my favorite is the Custom Relax - it's amazing and I walk out feeling completely rejuvenated. I've also had their facial treatment - great! Last Wednesday I also tried the chocolate pedicure - "deliciously" awesome. The products they use are first rate and their staff is courteous and professional. At times I come alone - just to get away from it all. Other times my friends and I come out for a girls day at the Spa - and we spend most of the day there - everything is under one roof. Light and healthy lunch, fresh-squeezed juice by the pool (my favorite is the carrot-apple with a touch of orange), rest areas inside and outside - never crowded and always relaxing. I simply love it!!!

Pros: Great facility, courteous staff, complete Spa menu, tasty food - wonderful experience.

Cons: Not enough women-only days.

A spa experience like no other

by fmcpa

This past weekend, after a stressful week at work, I found myself inside this amazing spa in West Hollywood. The service was superb, the massage was amazing, and I was finally able to soundly sleep for the first time in days. Voda spa is everything it claims to be and more. The ammentities are sparkling clean, the sauna and steam rooms have to be seen to be believed, and the body scrub I got that night made my skin feel incredible. I got the 75min massage that relaxed every muscle in my body. And when I was ready to leave, I grabed a midnight snack at their in-house restaraunt that made one delicious sandwich. I will be going back there again soon. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing rejuvinating and relaxing experience. An A+ on all accounts!

Pros: The spa itself

Cons: None noted

INCREDIBLE SPA, TREATMENTS, AND FRIENDLY SERVICE!!!

by ezstyle

Just visited Voda Spa on Saturday night (until midnight) with 12 friends for a birthday celebration. We got delicious dinner and relaxation experience all under one roof. The whole experience was outstanding, great atmospehere and decor, large open space with 4 different saunas and steam rooms, swimming pool, including famous Russian banya; everything was top notch quality, excellent customer services, including experienced massage therapists, and all the staff. (we had 10 massages scheduled within 2 hours, everyone loved it). Beautiful facility with modern touch and top spa technology, unique flowers all around, gorgeous entrance, CLEAN, more than enough Towels, friendly staff, healthy food (we had dinner and dessert), drinks, and juices. I have visited many different spas, including London and Paris, this one was the BEST, and the treatments are well priced. We spent 5 hours and all felt like royalty. Would go back many more times, another excellent idea for girls relaxing night out, or just with your husband or boyfriend, and I would recommend it to all my friends and family. Get there before everyone finds out about it. Two Thums up on a job well done!!!!!

Pros: excellent service, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, drinks, parking

Cons: NONE

All the luxury you could need in Hollywood!

by dchild10

My husband and I visited Voda Spa last week and had an incredible experience. We received a personal tour of the spa, then had a couple's massage. It was fantastic from start to finish. The facility is very large, beautifully decorated, clean & luxurious. The attendant in the ladies' locker room made sure I had everything I needed. The massage was fabulous & we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in the cafe after our treatment. The only thing I'd do differently is clear my schedule so we could spend more time enjoying the facilities. You could easily spend an entire day there, experiencing the pool, saunas, bar, cafe, salon, etc. What a gem! We'll definitely be back.

Pros: Service, Facilities, Treatments, Atmosphere, Space, Long hours

Cons: Their bar is not open yet, but should be in the next few months- can't wait!

Wow, the guy below saw things very differently than I did!

by gkom

Voda Spa struck me as a totally unique experience. Beautiful design, great massage, and great customer service separated it from all the spas I've visited in LA, especially Burke Williams and the other spa on Pico Blvd, which doesn't even come close to it as far as service is concerned. Further, while I agree with the guy below about the men being boisterous on Thursday, he must have been told as I WAS, that Thursday was Men's day, and usually a very different experience than any other day at the spa. I was told if I wanted to have a calmer experience I should come to the spa on any day OTHER than Thursday.

Plus, this dude must have a really bad memory cause when I came into the men's locker room, we were all given individual towels and robes and shown where we could find more. I think "bijock" has some kind of ax to grind. There were plenty of towels, and no confusion as to who to ask for help. The behavior of the people who were there was fine.
This spa is unique because its open till 12am everyday, and because it has a day set aside for women on Wednesday, and guys on Thursday. But you could see if you were there that the men were just enjoying themselves. Who is one person to dictate how everyone should behave? Everyone I spoke to loved the spa, and commented on how it was without question the best spa they had visited.

This dude below is like, 180 degrees away from everyone who was there;
maybe he works for one of this new spa's competitors?...

Pros: Excellent service, great design, amazing saunas...really good food

Cons: None, really. Except, I hope they have their liquor license next time I come...

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

by mmillerr

I checked out this spa last week and thought it was beyond beautiful. It has convenient parking in the back. The facility was open until midnight, which gave me enough time to relax and enjoy myself. When I came the employees were extremely nice and gave me a tour of the facility. The person who gave me the tour was very knowledgeable and explained the difference between the banyas, steam rooms and all about the services they have to offer, which made it easier for me to decide what I wanted to try. I used the "Russian" banya before and had a Swedish massage that was extremely relaxing. I also had some fresh juice and after I was done I decided to have something to eat, which was extremely delicious. I highly recommend the Spa to people that like to relax and treat themselves to something out of this world.

Pros: Relaxing environment, great customer service

Cons: None that I can think of

BEWARE!!! Don't believe the raves on here.

by bijock

Clearly the raves on this board are driven by people somehow affiliated with this new attempt at a spa. What this place really is is a very high end old world Russian Bath House. This is not a spa! My experience was not relaxing in any way, as a spa would be. Rather it was invigorating. The lighting throughout is not soft and soothing, but bright and harsh. The Russian men who crowd this place on men only days are loud and rude- where is the relaxation in that? The staff is mostly young Russian girls that the older Russian men can ogle, while the male attendants are clueless as to how to tend to a man's needs. Take the showers. There are no large towels available when you step out. Only floor mat towels. Everyone was looking for large towels. And the large towels ran out in the locker room. When my attendant was showing me around he warned me that the Finnish sauna was "really just for women" because the heat wasn't harsh- meanwhile, there was a young gentleman sitting in the Sauna with a look of total embarrassment on his face- I felt terrible for him. Though the overall design is quite nice lets not fool ourselves and say this rivals a world class spa. Please. Burke Williams is nicer and everything there is faux paint and dirty water. The owner should take a visit to The Parker in Palm Springs to see what a world class spa looks like. So for those looking for a relaxing, beautiful spa experience look elsewhere. For those looking for an invigorating time surrounded by loud, non-English speaking people who keep running up to the smoking balcony- enjoy.

Pros: Excellent and unique facilities

Cons: Noisy, rude people, not relaxing at all

A hidden jewel you WILL soon hear about.

by fitness_by_apollo

WOW!!
I have traveled to many 1st Class resorts around the world and never have I experienced a better spa adventure than Voda Spa! The service received was genuine with no push to sell. The design and lighting is astounding. Being a fitness trainer and finicky about how I am massaged, I received an awesome therapeutic massage exactly how I ordered it. I did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, but look forward in having a specialty cocktail with a beautiful meal following a treatment. This is a great place to impress that special someone-- a hidden jewel you WILL soon hear about.

Pros: walking distance for me ;-) astounding architecture, service oriented

Cons: none

Great new spa!

by chrisdee33rocks

This place is great! I read about this new spa in Urban Daddy and had to check it out. My girlfriend and I went for a relaxing night out. They're open really late, so it was the perfect after work date. We had massages in the couple's room, which was very chill and romantic. Our massage therapists were amazing - we left feeling totally relaxed. They've got a pool area that's amazing and the choice of saunas is unlike anything I've seen. They have like 4 saunas and one of them is this awesome Russian-style sauna called a "banya" -- very cool. I definitely got points for impressing my lady! A great and unusual choice for a date, I totally recommend it.

Pros: Great service, chill ambience, really good massage, and more sauna rooms than anywhere!

Cons: none, I love this place.

It's about time!

by hubblyjubbly

It's about time Los Angeles got a spa like this! It is the biggest spa in Los Angeles that I have ever seen with all of the amenities of a resort-style spa and the best hours for people who actually work during the day!! I can't remember their hours but they are open late.

I haven't tried the restaurant inside the spa yet, but the food looked good. I love all of the saunas and the massage I had was great. Oh and probably the best part...they have parking in the back! Hallelujah!
