Flood Squad responded within 30 minutes, extracted all the water, dried the floor and walls and billed my insurance company directly. The 2 uniformed technicians moved everything, were very careful, helpful and knowledgeable. Their quick response saved my carpet and prevented mold in the rest of the house.

These are the worst "contractors", dispatchers, what have you for flood emergencies. First, they falsely advertise, stating they offer direct insurance billing. When the flood technicians appeared, I had to sign a contract saying they had to be paid all at once from my own pocket (in excess of $2500). This was after they were 2 hours late. Second, they were supposed to pick up their equipment on a Saturday. They didn't pick it up until Tuesday. Third, they charged an extra grand on my card by mistake which they did fix. Fourth, they gave me a credit of one day of dehumidifiers (they should have given me credit for two days but that's neither here nor there) which has been more than 30 days since they promised the refund. Fourth, when I called Flood Squad two times to report these incompetent contractors, I was told I would receive a call from the project manager which never happened and the operator was short with me. He couldn't give me a name nor a number. What's that about?
Pros: Original Dispatcher was good
Cons: Contractor was horrendous
