I usually go for the "SUSHI BASS" Drum & Bass parties/nights.
I had some really good sushi and sashimi there and it is a very nice, laid-back atmosphere.
Good spot to dine and hear some music you would not otherwise hear in many places in NYC.

Visited this sushi house many times for many different occasions--birthday party, meeting friends after work, and even a bachelorette party. Each time the sushi was fresh and the atmosphere was cool...great time!
