Left Bank - San Mateo

This restaurant is located in a cute part of San Mateo. The French food is great and there's a large variety of entrees. Their french onion soup and burger are both done very well, but on the expensive side.

I like the food at this restaurants but the place seemed a bit noisy to carry on a conversation. It is centrally located and the prices were reasonable. I would go there again but maybe not as a place to have a conversation since it is hard to concentrate :-)

i have only been to this place once, but i was really impressed. the service was great and the food was wonderful. this was the first time that i ever had beef tartar and i loved it. i also had escargot for the first time here and i liked that too!
