My car was in wreck and was picked up by Austin express towing. When I called them a day later they told me that they didn't have my car,I had to call the police to find out where my car was at.The police called Austin express towing to find out where they took my car, well come to find out they did have my car on their lot impound. The police called me back letting me know that is was at (AET),My wife called (AET) on Saturday, they told her not to come by cause they were very busy on Saturday to come by Monday I guess that way they could charge extra days for impounding my car.then I had a wrecker truck go to (AET) to pick up my car well they didn't let him take my car.they charged me for another day and I went the very next day with a wrecker and told them if they didn't let me pick up my car I was calling the cops.I took my car and it cost me $481.00.What a bunch of rip offs.Hope you all are never in a car wreck but if you are and Austin express towing is there to pick up your car,DON"T LET THEM

I had my car towed from my own apartment because I had not yet obtained a parking permit sticker. Ok fine, I knew I couldn't fight it. But these people told me it would be $214 the first day I called. When I tried to get it out of towing I couldn't because my license was expired. So they said for $6 I could have a form notarized and my boyfriend could retrieve it. Turns out they didn't have their notary stamp there so they wanted to charge me $20 to have one delivered. Since this was as much as keeping my car there for another day we decided to leave and come back the next day. Big mistake! I called to find out if someone would be there to notarize the form and the woman said no but there was a place on S. Congress I could go to that was open until 9pm. Why couldn't they tell me this the night before? Well I get the form notarized and go to pick up my car and they charge me $264!!!!!!! They tacked on a "notification fee" of $50 even though they knew I knew my car was there as I had already been up there in person within the first 24 hours!!! They also failed to tell me they would do that the first night I was there. As if all of this wasn't bad enough, 3 Austin Public Library cd's were missing from my car. That's another $60, at least!!! I hate these people, I hope they go out of business.

I got my car towed last night by them. The tow was totally my fault and I can't fault them on that. My two beefs are with the price and the professionalism. First off, 193 bucks?!? I don't know if this is set by the state and if it is then there you go. But what a outrageous price to pay. If I had little morals and worse hygiene I might invest in this "legal theft" like the employees of Austin Express Towing have. This brings me to another point. The entire staff looked like bottom feeders. I know Im not walking into Chase Bank of Manhattan here but whatever sleezeball that owns this excuse for a business must want to project some sort of professional "were cooking on all burners" attitude. Well they certainly are not projecting that attitude. The costumer service was quick and cold (they live up to that name "express") but the dude who walked my boyfriend and I to my car didn't even have teeth, they were just black stubbs. Also, he looked American but Im pretty sure he didn't speak English. Maybe he just couldn't pronounce words because of his extreme case of Meth Mouth.

Bottom Line: Expect to pay 200 bucks for absolutely nothing if you get towed by "AET" (not like you have a choice in the matter anyway). I may be pretentious, but these people are slime.

FOLLOW UP: THREE DAYS AFTER I WAS TOWED THE CHARGE DISAPPEARED OFF OF MY ACCOUNT ACTIVITY ONLY TO SHOW BACK UP TWO DAYS LATER. THESE PEOPLE ARE WEIRD. NEVER EVER USE THEIR SERVICES IF YOU CAN HELP IT.

THEY HAVE ALSO BEEN INVESTIGATED BY THE AUTHORITIES LATELY. GOOGLE THEIR NAME AND IT WILL COME UP!!

I must apologize if the appearances of the employees here at Austin Express Towing offended your highness. Since you consider us bottom feeders, I guess we really don't know any better. Grow up little one and pay more attention to where you leave your property. Maybe then you won't have to be bothered by us again. Thanks for the 200 bucks!

My little brothers car broke down tonight. He called his road side assistance and they called Austin Express Towing. He then received a call from Austin Express towing stating that RSA was only paying 45$ and he would need to pay 40$ out of pocket to cover the rest of the bill. Well RSA covers up to 50$ so we knew something was not right, we called them and they said that the bill was only supposed to be 43$ and some change, no out of pocket cost.

When confronted with this Austin Express towing said that we would only have to pay 20$ out of pocket.

Needless to say when 6 hours later they were supposed to come and do it for the correct charge they never showed up.

Pure and simple... Scam Artists.

We had a horrible experience with this company. When we called to check on our car which had been towed. The customer service was terrible. The manager/supervisor Monica was rude and threatened to hang up the phone. When we asked to speak to the owner, she told us that he was out of the country. We are having to take them to small claims court for towing our car illegally and are filing a police report.............Would not recommend to our worst enemy!!
