Raw bar  4 Star Rating - Very good

If you love raw oysters, clams, or any other seafood, try this place. There are few places with fresher seafood in landlocked Atlanta. Bring your Amex or a fat wallet, because it's not cheap. Dinner including drinks and appetizer will easily be over $100. They also serve brunch.

Best Seafood I've Ever Had 5 Star Rating - World class

This beautifully furnished restaurant in the heart of vinings is perfect. You really do forget where you are when you step in. I guess I'll start with the impeccable service. Everyone there was so attentive and catered to my every need. Now to the food. The food was out of this world. I started with the calamari, all of which were cooked to perfection. For my entree I had the scallops, cooked the way the waiter suggested, grilled and topped with the lemon wine sauce. He really knew his stuff and they could not have been better. For dessert I had the creme brule, one of my favorites. Although it is one of my favorites it was truly the best I have ever had. So rich and creamy and the top was caramelized perfectly. All in all one of the best experiences at a restaurant I've ever had and definitely the best seafood I've ever had.

Pros: The Food and the atmosphere
Cons: some might think the location is a con, but it's not

Could be better,, but fish is pretty good 3 Star Rating - Satisfactory

I loved c& s the first two times I went. Then it seemed to slide

The salmon was not so good the last time. I hated their anniversary specials. Way too much sauce bloating the salmon. Service is not so great for such prices. It could be the best seafood, but they need to be more consisitient. I may try it one more time. The valet is very overbearing

I feel forced to valet, and it should be a choice.. Good wine list, except for the horrid wines by the carafe. Those took me back to college days and seem out of place in that enviroment. Save that for the pizza joints

Oysters are good, but too expensive

I still prefer Oceanaire, especially with lower gas prices

Native Atlantan Finally found excellent NYC style food 5 Star Rating - World class

C&S was recoommended to me by a friend because I am such a food snob I have a hard time finding restaurants I love. Well I LOVE C&S!!!!
It is my new favorite restaurant. The oysters rockafeller are to die for and their seafood selection is unsurpassed. But don't forget the steak. My husband only eats steaks (goood steaks, he is a food snob also) and he says they have the best steaks in the area.
You have to try it!

Pros: food, atmosphere, service
Cons: in a shopping center (not really a con)

I really enjoyed the meal 4 Star Rating - Very good

Went for lunch today. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole dining experience. Drinks, very good. Bartender obviously a real pro. Wait staff, excellent. Ambience, really wonderful primarily because of the jazz playing in the background. A little Miles Davis and I'm good to go. Seating good, I could go on. So wanted to stay and sit at the bar for some more of the barkeeps concoctions but couldn't and get home legally. Boo hoo. Food? Really good. Gazpacho not of the chunky variety but still very good. Seafood tacos really yummy. Caesars salad just great.....Po' boy great. Dessert; bread pudding good, key lime concoction outstanding. Not one hitch in the action here. We'll go back for sure.

Pros: Everything Good, no complaints

Fabulous Formal Dining 4 Star Rating - Very good

My visit to C & S was truly a memorable one. Right from the get-go, with the complimentary valet parking and attractive ambience, this place had already set a good tone for my liking. I personally LOVED the bread, and the calamari was cooked to perfection. The oysters and clams were good, but they were a bit too soggy, and the king crabs were delicious. I look forward to returning sometime because I was highly impressed.

Pros: Valet Parking, Bread, Calamari, King crab
Cons: Soggy oysters and clams
