One star because you can't give no stars. Mini of San Francisco has the rudest customer service people ever. Today I took a day off work (because you can't get your oil changed anywhere but a dealership) to have my oil changed. I bought this car in 2002 and the inconvenience of having to go to the dealer for an oil change was ok since it was included in the 3 year service warranty. But now that I have to pay for it, an oil change is more than $100. I called to find out and the appointment setter said it was $50. So I made the appointment (they only do service during the week) and I took the car in. First, it takes them hours to change the oil because they don't cater to anyone just for an oil change. Then, the people told me it would be $115. I was shocked and when I said that wasn't what I was quoted, the woman, Kat Martin, said "I know who you are and you were quoted that much because our staff doesn't misquote." She told me I was coming in with a bad attitude and stopped off to get the manager. Ryan Kraft was kind enough while the manager, Jeff Adams, implied that I was stupid because "didn't you consider when you bought a new car model that no where else would work on it?" That was more than 5 years ago. I didn't think it would take the rest of my life for Jiffy Lube to be able to do an oil change! Then, he implied that I was the only crazy person that didn't like Mini of SF because "everyone else loves us. People line up to want to buy a car from us and have it serviced here." Uh, they line up because there is no where else to take the damn car to have it serviced and they are only open during the week.
I wanted to stand there and insist on being treated better, but then he said he would refuse to do the service because I wouldn't just leave.
