Paragon Restaurant & Bar Berkeley

I think most people assume that dining at the Claremont Hotel will cost a fortune, but the Paragon offers an affordable lunch menu that includes a selection of appetizers, salads, hamburgers, sandwiches, and dessert. I ordered a hamburger and fries, and was pleased with the results. Unfortunately, I felt the overall service needed improvement. Our server wasnt very friendly and essentially ignored us the entire time we were there. Although the service was poor, you cant beat the amazing view of the bay from the balcony. I highly recommend making reservations and requesting an outdoor table.

We have been to the Paragon several times now and enjoyed it each time. The food is good and reliable, but we really come here to sit outside on a warm sunny evening and drink vodka cocktails and watch the sun set and the other beautiful people watching the sun set. Easy to park and right off the freeway ,so its is easy to meet friends coming in from other locations.
