When you walk into duross & langel, your eyes will be greeted by a rush of colorful and fragrant hand-crafted soaps that are made fresh daily in our in-store soap kitchen with essential oils, natural perfumes, and moisture rich shea butter for gentle cleansing that maintains skin's natural moisture level. At Duross & Langel, our products are created from old family recipes. Many of our hair & skin care products are produced locally in our FDA approved laboratory, utilizing the latest natural formulation technology. We offer pre-packaged gifts or you can create your own. We also offer soap making workshops to the public on the 1st and 3rd Sunday each month (check durossandlangel.com for more details). Our award winning "Best of Philly" store is located in the heart of Philadelphia's Midtown Village. It's good clean fun for the entire family!

They have a lot of great cruelty-free products, and they emphasize their dedication to finding "fair trade" materials from co-ops, family-owned farms, and local vendors. As to the reality of their trade and manufacturing processes, I can't guarantee anything, and urge everyone to ask questions, since they seem to emphasize a high degree of transparency with their production.

High quality products, friendly staff 5 Star Rating - World class

I have been using Duross and Langel products for about eight months now, and the results have been amazing. I like that the products are made with quality ingredients, are moisturizing, and smell wonderful without being overpowering. The prices are very reasonable, too. The coconut clove and lavender oatmeal soaps are so moisturizing, and the shea butter cream is a new favorite. Even my parents, who are accustomed to using commercially-made soaps or whatever happens to be around the house, are hooked. The friendly staff is helpful in offering suggestions based on skin type and fragrance preference. I highly recommend this shop for people who appreciate high quality bath and body products!
