I was a patient at this practice on one occasion in early 2007. I saw Dr. Peters and was very disappointed in my visit. I left in tears and never went back to see him again. I changed to another local rheumatologist. I have been going there ever since but he is no longer at the practice. I was referred to another Dr. by a coworker at AZ Arthritis and Rheumatology and called to schedule an appointment with her. They would not let me schedule an appointment with her saying that since I had seen Dr. Peters I would not be allowed to switch Doctors. I explained she was highly recommended and that I had only seen Dr. Peters once and that it was 4-5 years ago and that I was very unhappy with him. She said it didnt matter that they don't allow "Dr. hopping". I asked if she would rather loose a patient then allow me to see the Dr. that had been recommended to me. She said it was their policy. I asked if I may speak with a supervisor. She put me on hold and a moment later came back to say the supervisor said the same thing. So I will never go back to this clinic.

I liked my Dr ok (dr Swarup) but this office is by far the most poorly run doctors office I've ever visited :(. Their office manager 'Lisa' gave me mis information about my health that upset me, and then when I found out it wasn't true i couldn't believe she could get away with that. Also you have to call into a call center and I wait a minimum of 5 mins everytime, annoying! They also have messed up my Rx's and never schedule tests that they order for me (MRI). When I call to follow up I still don't get it scheduled. Just the sloppiest and most unprofessional doctors office I've ever encountered :(.

I started seeing Dr Starr recently and am very impressed by how thorough his examinations are. He truely appears to care about his patients. I am now receiving infusion treatments and that staff is excellent on care and bedside manner. I have and will continue to recommend people to them.

There was no category for rheurmatology so I had to pick another category of physician. I have been going to this office for some time. I usually see Dr. Peters. Some office visits are fine, others I feel that he is interrogating me. Shame on me for forgetting something such as a date I started or stopped a medication. He is a bit arrogant. He has been known to write not-so-nice office notes about me. He has the absolute worst handwriting in the world - the nurses can't even read it. There are several other doctors in this group. I do not know any of the others or if you can switch if you want to.

The office staff seems a bit overworked and busy. They have a sign on the door - no food or drink allowed in waiting room. This is Phoenix - it's 110 degrees for several months - you need to take a drink with you everywhere. I have a young child - kids need snacks to keep them quiet - we have to "sneak" and be careful not to spill a crumb. I don't like this policy. They also have a sign telling us NOT to wear any perfume products. Well, this is ridiculous - I can't even put on scented hand-cream?!!!!!

The waiting room time is good. You usually get called pretty quickly. They have their own lab and seem to push having blood drawn there rather than going elsewhere but that should be your choice. They close early on Fridays. Only certain doctors are there on certain days. Dr. Peters is there Tues and 1/2 of Friday.
