Romantic Day Spa in stand alone 1890's victorian home
Anne-Marie: Please make sure that you use your gift certificate in a timely manner. My fiance purchased a 'Day at the Spa' gift certificate for me for my birthday in May 08. I was very excited as I had never been to a spa. Unfortunately a few weeks later he unexpectantly lost his job and we were forced to move from the area (to Virginia) within a couple of months. At that point my mind was not on a day at the spa but on relocating, our budget and obtaining new jobs. I called to see if I could get a refund on the gc as I knew I would never be able to use it but was told that was not allowed. As I did not know anybody in the area, I had nobody I could give the certificate to. We are now doing well and live in New England (where we're both from). I still have my birthday present from 2008 hanging out in the file cabinet in our office. It is unfortunate that this turned out to be a waste of money but at least I have the memory of the actual gift giving event if not the gift itself. I do think that Borja could have been more forgiving with their refund policy given the circumstances.

Borja's is a full service spa located in Cary. Their staff is warm, friendly and wholly knowledgeable about their products. I've had manicures, pedicures, massages and even a couples massage/dinner and they are all fabulous. I've never been unhappy with their service and their prices are surprisingly moderate. Hubby always gets me a gift certificate to Borja's for our anniversary because he knows just how relaxed I am when I come home!

I visited Borja with some girlfriends and we had such a great time, they were so nice and there was such a personnel service you dont see anymore, the owner went out into the rain to get our umbrella from the car so we would not have to walk in the rain, I mean who does that these days! THANKS GUYS, I WILL BE BACK!

Walking into this old home reminded me of visiting my Grandmother's home. The decor in the house is classic charm and the rooms were very large. The staff was very kind and helpful. They did not make me feel uncomfortable being there, but so appreciative for my business. I was given a full hour when I was told a "full hour" service. The prices are average to slightly less that other day spas in the area. The products where organic and smelled so wonderful, very spa-ish. Highly recommended.
