Apropos Cafe

Eurpoean chic cafe and wine bar that serves tasty food and a very fine selection of wines. It's Italian food, light and full of flavour. Pizza is made to crisp perfection and the wine list is faultless. I haven't tried one wine that didn't taste good on its own or as a complement to my food. But the owner, Ali is really helpful is determining which wine goes with what you are in the mood for, so that's probably the reason why! The espresso coffee is a welcome distraction from the chain store bought coffees we have grown so used to. And I found out in my conversations with the owner that their desserts are baked on the premises so they are extra good! If you are in the Park Slope neighbourhood and want a quick sit down meal, a wine or to enjoy a lingering meal, Apropos Cafe serves it up!! Its affordable and all round great.
