I had the pleasure of working nearby this restaurant when it opened and having numerous lunches with coworkers, business dinners and celebrations for special occasions through the years. The food is consistently excellent! The co-owners go out of their way to make their guests happy. In regards to "nightmare" review, I have to believe the Nightmare was this patron! Go anytime of day or evening, order anything and enjoy a true Italian experience.

Who'd have thought that little old Noblesville would have such an excellent, original Italian restaurant? Don't even think of comparing it to Olive Garden or Bucca di Beppo's, that's like comparing Steak n Shake to Shula's.

Matteo di Rosa and his wife Emily have created a beautiful, warm dining room suitable for both romantic couples and families. Their regular menu has a couple superb selections, such as the Tagliatella alla Tarantella - fettucine with home-made chicken sausage, asparagus in a wine cream sauce. But the real treat is their nightly specials, particularly the lasagna. My picky 18 year old exclaimed, after polishing off a helping of chicken lasagna, "this isn't just the best lasagna I've ever had ... this is the best food I've ever had!"

Now that Matteo's has a full liquor license, I also suggest you order the Bananas Foster for a special dessert. It's a great show to see it prepared table-side, and their blend of orange and lemon flavors is outstanding.
