I have been going to Ruby for a few years and I have never been disappointed. He is amazing with color and cuts. He always has fresh ideas and is not afraid to tell you if something is not right for you. Glass Hair Design is a fabulous salon. It has a relaxed vibe and there is always laughter and great music playing. I highly recommend trying Ruby out. You will not regret it. He truly is a MASTER. -Kristen

Whenever I book my appointment to see Ruby, now located at Glass Hair Design in Venice, I get excited long ways before the actual appointment. That's because Ruby's a super fun character to have around yourself during a cut/color/perm or any hair job you ask him to do and also because the salon itself has a very friendly, relaxed but still professional atmosphere. My whole life I have been "searching" for the perfect cut and Ruby, eventually, made me feel in heaven. I've been with him for years now, Ruby does an excellent job with my perm that looks like an afro and the cute blonde color, too. I get to enjoy and relax during my stay there, the music selection is excellent and, if you're into movies, Glass has two screens playing the latest and greatest out on DVD. I'd definitely recommend a visit to Ruby's anytime even if you just need to figure out what exactly to do with your hair if you haven't quite gotten to that point in your life yet. I'm a very happy customer there. The only downside I think that it's kinda pricy and I once in a while wish I had a cut that does not require as much attention as it actually needs. I guess a woman's (and a man's of course) urge to look at her/his best is probably always bigger.

I recently had my hair cut & colored from Ruby at Glass Hair Design in Venice - it is a most relaxing and creative space. As part of the shampoo process Ruby gave me the best head massage I have ever had, it's a purely orgasmic feeling! His personality and professionalism is top notch, talented & creative and I would recommend this experience to anyone,,,my hair looks great too!

After a hair disaster and nightmare - Ruby corrected the color and condition of my hair. I would recommend him to any one who has a hair nightmare. He was fun and made me feel very comfortable - even though it took him a little time.
