The Excalibur Hotel and Casino, the world's most exciting resort, is a magical castle. The moment you step across Excalibur's drawbridge, you are immediately transported back to the mythical days of King Arthur. This distinctive property features 3,991 guest rooms, two swimming pools, five marvelous restaurants, the "Thunder From Down Under" show for grown-ups, the "Tournament of Kings" dinner show, two magic-motion film rides, dozens of shoppes, the Fantasy Faire Midway, costumed strolling entertainers, and over 100,000 sq. feet of gaming excitement.
super hokey place. I mean who wants to go to vegas to pretend to be in a disney world theme park. They do have some cheap blackjack tables but thats all I can recommend. The even have a $25 all you can eat all day buffet. Now thats a terrible buffet!

They have a cool medieval time dinner show where you can eat and vote for your sections knights. The setting is in a real cool arena with real horses and knights. Also, they have really fun midway games and a motion theatre that is fun to go on!

My husband and I just got back home from Vegas, as you can imagine we stay at your hotel from April 13-18; Our stay was very unpleasant to start housekeeping of the room was really bad....For example on our first day my husband got some chocolate on one of the pillows, to our surprised it was still there on our last day. The floor was never clean (tile and carpet); furthermore, the hallway was so dirty, we actually saw the same garbage for days, we complaint to Management and spoke to Ms. Molly Merritt, Assistant Hotel Manager, which she promised to take care of it, but to no avail the garbage remain there the entire week, very unacceptable and unsanitary. to add insult to injury the service in the casino was terrible, the cocktail waitresses are never around and if by luck one comes around they act like if they are doing you a favor, very rude and arrogant; and once the order was placed it would take them for ever to bring the drinks. Finally, my slot machine malfunctioned and literally it took 45 minutes to get service and to my luck I could not walk away, i had $300.00 in credit in the machine. We won't recommend this hotel to our friends and will make sure that they get our version. We are planning a future trip to Vegas and definitive will look somewhere else. Management needs to do a better job all around the hotel

When we come to Vegas with the kids, this is where we like to stay. They have the best midway and stores for the kids. The rooms and prices decent. We also enjoy going to see the Tournament of Kings

BY MIKE KEMENA I been to Vegas many times in the past . I loved them all . I never won i all ways lost but still loved it .I have not been there for over 6 years and i returned this month .this was the worst time in VEGAS , I ever had .In the past i got lot of play took all day and night to lose $500 to $1000 .there was a nice friendly girl all ways around asking if i wanted a drink .I liked putting the coins in and pulling the arm . I loved the coin drop coming out when i cashed out .this trip was bad from the day i got there .first of all you put me on the 13TH floor .i never herd of the 13Th floor in the USA till that day they go from the 12Th to the 14Th NO 13TH ! I COMPLAINED about getting that floor and the girl gave me my key cards and called the next in line not and did not understand a work i said .now you got old not happy women getting drinks (they can not even smile ) i sat playing for over 30 min more then 1 time also in the MGM with out seeing one girl going around asking if i wanted a drink . 2 time i had to go find one and call her over .last day there it was over 30 min with out seeing one and i called one over she took our orders me ,my wife and 5 others after a long time i seen her going past and i stopped her and asked where our drinks where .she said she cam back and no one wanted there drinks .a man down from me called her a liar and cashed out and mad his wife do the same and they left . she retook my order and my wife's order and was not happy with us at all .she left and other people where yelling at her ( what about us ?) she looked back and left .others cashed out and left all but 4 me my wife a guy behind me and a girl down from me . when she returned with our drinks she tried to give us drinks we did not order and got more upset with us .the guy behind me asked if he could get one and she just sat the drinks down she had and said we asked for and left .at that time you lost us 4 also we all stopped gambling and left .most of your arms at the slots do not work or not work right . few times they took the money and never spun. VEGAS got so cheep they cut so many jobs that i do not think i will ever return .you cut jobs by taking the coin slots out and only take cash now . you fixed them trying to force people to just hit a button so you take the money faster . to drop a coin and pull the arm takes to long to suck them dry .i never lost anywhere anytime like i lost there and MGM in my life with out play back at all .at the LU XOR i try one slot it would not take any money it was broke i waked around tried another same thing , walked some more tried another same i left never playing 1 time . QUESTION : was my bad time in Vegas because you put me on the 13 floor or was just the worst week of my life ?

My husband and I got married at the Canterbury Wedding Chapel in 2004.
I really wanted to be married close to home but he was set on Vegas.
I thought it would be very difficult to plan a wedding seeing as we live in Maryland but it could not have been easier!!! The hardest part was deciding what chapel to chose. Once I did, the staff at the Canterbury Wedding Chapel were awesome.
They were very organized, listened to all my concerns and helped me plan a memorable event.
We were married in the large chapel and it is very beautiful. Although our guest list was rather small, our ceremony was very romantic and gorgeous! Our photos even turned out better than I could have ever imagined!!
If I was to get married in Vegas again, I would certainly go back.
Several months after we were married, I received a phone call asking about the wedding. It was so nice that they followed up to make sure the day was everything I wanted it to be.

I would not recommend the hotel if you are going away with your significant other but if you are traveling with the kids its great. I think is better the Circus Circus because of the location... still enough stuff for the kids to do and right next to New York New York for the adults.

Although Excalibur is not the most modern of Vegas hotels, its still a good time. The rooms are very affordable and they are a decent size. There is a nice pool, and some good restaurants inside, and the shows they have a pretty good too.

The place was not kept up very well which is a shame because this is where we like to gamble. It is great for kids and according to their website they just remodeled rooms. I would rather stay here than Circus Circus if we ever bring the children.

This is the third time that we have stayed at the Excalibur hotel in less than one year, and we have never had a problem. This last time we stayed on October the 15th. for a wedding at the Excalibur chapel, which we had recommended to our friends.
We checked in Wednesday 15th. at 2:00 p.m, attended the wedding at 5:00pm, had dinner and came back to our room. On Thursday the 16th. we got ready to leave packing everything in a rush because we were getting close to check out time. We left the room at 10:40am and got to check out by 11:00am. Unfortunately during our rush we forgot a big white box with a pair of black boots and one pair of nice leather shoes that we actually bought one day before for the wedding. Even more unfortunate was that we did not notice until we got back home Sunday morning and unpacked the car.
We called the hotel, checked with lost and found and housekeeping several times and then we filed a report with security. During our conversations we were told that the lost items were not the hotels responsibility and most employees have worked there for a long time so it wasnt like someone would get fired over this (Which we thought was a strange thing to say). Honestly we just want our shoes back, they were expensive, we liked them and we just bought them. We werent looking for someone to get in trouble, we just wanted our shoes back.
The only person that could have been there after we left was the housekeeper and they missed a large white box? That is unbelievable. We can't believe that they couldn't find a big white box and then we hear such strange things as denials of responsibility and statements regarding people not getting in trouble? Doesnt the hotel have cameras in these hallways? Is this just self-protection or does the hotel not want to believe that employees can steal?

I am local from Las Vegas on the night of August 9 2008 my air conditioned unit broke down so I decide to rent a hotel to spend a night with my family and run away from my hot house.
The kids have fun at the pool; we rent a cabana to follow the Olympics
Games.
We when back to the room at 8:00 PM after they close the pool take a shower and order a movie at 8:59PM.
Monday we have breakfast at the buffet and them we check out, when we have the final bill after spent a couple hundred on food and drinks them they charge me for a movie that didnt rent $10.99 I told them that I never rent that movie and that I have it on DVD on my house, they told me that is not they can do so I pay for the movie and leave not happy after been reap off I will never comeback or recommend anybody is not about the $10.99 is just not right Hector More

My cousin got married here. The chapel is a beautiful room. The priest was very polite. We got a wedding package that came with the most beautiful flower arrangements. I would definitely reccommend this place to couples.

This is a hotel more for the kids of the family. The rooms and the atmosphere are not for those who want a romantic vacation. The hotel is more for kids, but the Knight's Tournament is worth seeing for some entertainment.

This hotel is great just for a day out you can ride the tram between three different casino but for the little boy with you they have cool statues of Knights.

Here's a copy of my complaint to them:
I was a guest at the Excalibur Hotel February 19-23rd. The first few days were for business and the remainder was a short vacation.
Check-in went smoothly; because I had back-to-back reservations, I was told to check with Registration on the morning of the 21st to have my keys reset. That morning, I brought down the keys and my Corporate MC to complete the process. When I tried to do this, Annie informed me that this was not necessary and sent me on my way. However, when I went back upstairs and could not get into my room.
Next, I went downstairs and explained my situation to Josie. Josie asked me if I had my ID which I did not have on me. However, I did have my Corporate MC that was on the first reservation and two other credit cards with my name on them. I asked if I could verbally verify any of my information or have someone escort me to my room so I could present my ID.
At this point, Josie called one of the managers (Mary) over. By far, Mary was one of the most rude, obstinate individuals I have encountered in a customer service capacity. Her tone was extremely accusatory and treated me as if I was trying to slip something by her. She asked me for my signature and then loudly informed me that it did not match. I was in tears at this point. Finally, she gave me my keys. No one apologized or even cracked a smile during the morning of the 21st. It was as if I was the enemy.
I understand how challenging the hospitality industry is. After waiting tables throughout college, I worked at the front desk of a four star 1,122 convention hotel for a little over a year. I am not one of those guests who complain in an attempt to get something for nothing. In fact, all I ask is that upper management within this organization revisit their service training program.

This is one of the hotels that had a great family show. We went to the Tournament of the Kings show with our daughter. We had a nice dinner while watching the show. It wasnt too long so my daughter was captivated. The price was okay. You cant really expect to find a cheap show in Vegas but this one was worth every penny.

The parking situation at Excalibur is terrible. They have valet parking, but it takes FOREVER for them to retrieve your car. The spaces in the self-park area are way too small and quite a hike from the casino/hotel.
The restaurants are all right. The Roundtable Buffet is decent, although there wasn't a huge assortment of food. There's a McDonald's located inside the casino on the second floor, which is convenient and inexpensive.
There were too many children running around, including in the casino. The rooms were all right, but nothing spectacular. The casino has a good variety of games, but you can find the same (if not better) elsewhere.
PROS: Convenient; Looks pretty neat; clean rooms
CONS: Staff rather unfriendly and unaccommodating; too many kids around

The Excalibur Hotel and Casino is located near the end of the Vegas strip, right along with other large hotels and casinos. They have Merlin out front, tons of rooms, and a kids dreamland downstairs. There is a jousting tournament and kings feast dinner show, carnival and boardwalk style games, and you can always find cheap hotel rooms on booking sites. The hotel has a huge gaming floor, security at the room elevators, and a very large pool. Very clean and nice.

Needs some updating. Styled after the midevil times type castle decor, it is cute, but there is not as much to do here, and you can tell that this resort is one of the older ones on the strip. Dragons adorn the structure. Haven't stayed in teh rooms but the hotel itself is spacious. Worth taking a look even if you don't stay here on your trip.

The Excalibur was okay. My husband and I stayed there; I think it's really more of a family place. It's convenient to Luxor and MGM but it's pretty far down the strip and away from a lot of the popular properties (Venetian, Mirage).

I stayed here when I went to go see a guy I was seeing one weekend last month. I like the prices, and the casino is very fun, even without gambling in it.

I stayed here on my Vegas trip last year. The prices are good, but I recomend reserving your trip on expedia or travelocity to get the absolute best rates.

Doesn't have the new "grand" style of some of the newer Las Vegas hotels and casinos, but unique in its own right with the castle styling. I don't believe it to have the same draw as some of the others, but it is located on the strip. Easy to get to other newer locations on the strip, but I wouldn't personally recommend this for your choice of a hotel. There are much nicer ones on the strip, and though this has a dragon and midevil style, it's only okay in my book.

The Exclaibur has a good central location on the Strip with fairly priced hotel room rates. If you're just looking for a nice hotel/casino in the center of the action then the Excalbiur is a great choice. There is a nice arcade for the kids as well.

This hotel is on the south end of the strip. The hotel is OK nothing special, The casino smells like cigarettes. The rooms are ok nothing fancy just a ordinary room. The outside of the hotel looks nicer then the inside. For the price of this hotel you should stay somewhere else. I would only stay at this hotel again if the room was under 75 dollars on the weekends.

This hotel offers affordable rates and is a great place for the family. The bottom floor is a huge arcade for the kids, and there is a jousting tournament that the whole family can enjoy. The pool is very nice and there is a nice hot tub outside as well. Excalibur offers a very nice spa for customers. Upon check-in you are given free coupons for a free visit to the spa; which has an indoor hot tub/steam room/health club. Very nice. However, Excalibur is located FAR FAR away from many of the new or oldies but goodies atttactions. Prepare your feet for some major walking.

One of the only good things about this hotel is that it is cheap. The room we stayed in was pretty clean, it wasn't at all luxurious, unlike some of the other hotels on The Strip. I think this is a good family hotel (how ironic because it is Vegas). The hotel is definitely pretty old. I don't know if I want to come back again.

I stayed at the excalibur hotel twice. both times it was just what we needed, a place to sleep. When you go to vegas you pretty much only use your room to sleep and that is what i did used my room to sleep. we gambled most of the time. I did like their midevil knights dinner and show they have it is entertaining.

I stayed at this hotel the very first time I went to Vegas and I thought it was very nice. The rooms are clean, the pools are nice and the casino is big. I really like the fact that there are a lot of meal options upstairs in the food court, even if you are just looking for a quick snack. If you are on a budget but looking to stay at one of the larger strip hotels, I would recommend checking out the Excalibur.
PROS: Clean, inexpensive and fun.
CONS:
Was this review helpful to you?
I understand the family theme and atmoshphere. However, this place is still a casino and kids don't belong here. There seems to be kids all over the place however, it is not as bad as Circus Circus.

THE EXCALIBUR HOTEL AND CASINO HAS ACCEPTABLE ACCOMMODATIONS. THE ROOMS ARE CLEAN. THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE ALWAYS WANT TO TALK YOU INTO AN UPGRADE. THE HALLWAYS TEND TO BE NOISY SO IF YOU ARE A LIGHT SLEEPER THIS IS NOT FOR YOU.

Who actually spends a lot of time in their hotel room in Vegas anyway?!
We have always stayed at the Excalibur whenever going to Vegas. We are budget concious people who don't mind saving money. Granted, the Excalibur is not the nicest or most luxurious hotel on the strip, but it's definitely better than Motel 6 and it's a safe place for a good night's sleep.
It is family friendly- an entire level for kids, lots of different restaurants, and spacious rooms.
On our last trip, I booked the rooms online. I checked 2 days before our trip and the prices went down. After a quick phone call to customer service, they were happy to lower my rate to the updated price. Excellent!
I have no problem staying at the Excalibur! They have always done a good job for us when it comes to staying in Vegas!

Excalibur Hotel and Casino is a good place for a family on vacation in Las Vegas. They have a lot of themed events that make visiting fun for a child. The arcade and game room is the perfect stop for the little ones. Although, there did seem like there were a lot of problems with the skee ball machines. The rooms at Excalibur were standard rooms, two queen sized beds, a small bathroom, adequate dresser and closet space. The location is good, somewhat near the middle of the strip. Staff was accommodating and friendly.

We love the location of the Excalibur. Its on the end of the strip which to us is great because we like start at the end of the strip and work our way to see the entire strip on one side and cross the street to do the other side of the strip.
The rooms do need to be redone because they look outdated.
Weve eaten at there buffet a few times. The food was good but it seemed to take awhile for the trays to be refilled.
The staff is friendly and pretty good service.

While the rooms are decent and the gambling is basically the same all over las vegas, i liked this hotel, because in the middle of the summer, it's casino and lobby floors were the coolest in las vegas. It also has a monorail, so you don't have to go out on the street to go to Luxor or Mandalay Bay. I didn't think it's medieval theme was that widely expressed, however they do offer a knight show. This hotel is on the edge of the strip, which is a con

This place is so cool, its a castle right in the middle of Vegas! I loved looking at how beautiful the pinks and blues were glowing i n the dark. It is connected to its neighbor hotels so you dont have to step out into the scorching heat when you want to move around. They have a night show which is all about swords and things like that, but it is kind of expensive. The rooms were average, cheaper on weekends then week days.
Was this review helpful to you?
Very outdated facility, when compared to most other upscale billion dollar facilities on The Strip. However, the staff has always been helpful, and I like the cheaper table minimums and fact that it's on the Mandalay tram.
PROS: fun
CONS: outdated

I wasn't expecting this place to be classy, but it really was more tacky than I could ever have imagined. If I have one regret it's that I didn't get chance to see the live jousting.
Pros: hilarious English theme pubs
Cons: the joke could easily wear thin
I've stayed at the Excalibur numerous times over the last 10 years. I typically use the Excalibur when going to dealer shows in Vegas because it is fairly inexpensive and when I am by myself I don't mind not having a plush room. The rooms are fairly basic, but since the recent remodel they have become much better in terms of comfort. The colors are pretty bland though. I like the medieval theme, but it seems to be getting lost somewhat over the years (the giant purple dragons are gone, the moat at the front entrance stays empty, the actors that use to greet you at the entrance are gone, and Merlin's charecter has been replaced) . Several of the big screen TV's that display hotel advertisements are broken. The game room in the lower level is very run down with many of the games not working. Public restrooms are also in need of a re-vamp. It seems like a general lack of maintenance is to blame. The good: The casino is a fun place to be usually with lots of action. The cocktail waitresses are friendly, but too few and far between. The wine and mixed drinks are not as good as other hotels, but are ok. They update the slots on a regular basis and keep things fresh. Watch out in the winter months though because the slots around Tower 1 and Tower 2 entrances are like being in a cold wind tunnel with the breeze that gusts in each time the doors open. Camelot Steakhouse is one of the best Steak houses and is a must to go to, and Tournament of Kings is a very entertaining show ($50 for a show and dinner ? hard to beat that). Regalle is pretty good as well, but not considered a favorite. Another good point of this hotel is the cost to stay here, and easy access to the Strip. Several years back I would have given this hotel a good 4 star rating, but with the disrepair of things I can only give it 3 stars now. Added note: I saw where another reviewer complained about food trays sitting in the hallway for two days - I have seen this too and called the desk.
Pros: Nice Casino, Great Prices
Cons: Lack of general maintenance
If I'm staying somewhere in Vegas it won't be this place. I can see where it would be good for families, but your better off staying next door at the Luxor. I stay here for a few hours on my last nigt in Vegas because the room was cheap and didn't need to do anything but walk next door from the Luxor where I stayed the first four nights of my most recent trip and I don't even think my bags liked staying in the room, lol. Like I said would be a good place for a family with its free puppet shows and goofy decor
Pros: Not much, but is priced nicely
Cons: Crappy decor, many many children running around unattended
This isn't one of the nicer hotels located on the strip. I'm not really fond of the rooms, which were decent, but not that nice. The casino below was ok, but overall, this isn't one of the nicest experiences. I also suffered from a lot of construction related noise and vibration in the room, but at least it was during the day so it was more tolerable. If you can get a good price, it's worth it, but otherwise, look elsewhere.
Pros: Cheap and still in the thick of the "Strip".
Cons: You're getting lesser quality with the lesser price. Horrible buffet.
This stay was a special event "First Time to Vegas, 50th Birthday party". However, I was NOT notified of any renovation to the building UNTIL I arrived. I was assured that I would not be disturbed, however, I could switch rooms. At SIX AM the next morning, I learned that the renovation was directly above us. My guest and I played "NAME THAT POWER TOOL" until nine in the morning. I called to switch rooms for the next evening as there was no way we could sleep through this racket again. I was told there were no rooms available! After requesting a manager I was eventually moved fifth floor, same tower. No comps were offered nor apologies rendered for this inconvenience, I demanded a discount (hardly worth the headache) off the first night in the room. I had a delivery ordered to the room. It did not shown up as requested upon our arrival (confirmed by staff). I made the trip downstairs to investigate. I spotted the gift, a $100 custom cookie basket, cookiesbydesign. com, behind the desk FULLY IN TACT. I spoke to the person at the desk and said I would like to receive it myself in person as they did not deliver upstairs as promised. She refused & rudely said, "We can't just give stuff out you know!? I requested the delivery brought up. The cookie basket arrived upstairs promptly with two of the items broken in half! I was horrified! This was supposed to be a present, now broken in shambles due to careless staff! Again, my complaint was brushed off by a manager on staff explaining to me that "There was NO WAY to KNOW whether or not this package was in this state upon delivery." *SHOCK* I had just been closer then five feet to the item five minutes earlier! On a final note, room service trays were left in the halls for two days with leftover meat on the trays beginning to STINK on MULTIPLE FLOORS!!! This is unsanitary and outrageous! AVOID! In my opinion most smoky/dirty casino in VEGAS!
Pros: NONE
Cons: Rude Staff, No Bathtubs, Crammed quarters Casino
This was a nightmare. Huge place. We were promised a room with king size bed instead we were sent to the very last room in the end of the hallway across from housekeeping room with two queens. The room was dark - the light from the lamps was not enough even to read the map. Construction started about 730 am the following day beneath our window and I regretted that I had that free drink in the casino. Another surprise was in the bathroom - every time anyone flushed a toilet in the tower you could hear it in your room, imagine how many times you can hear it in the morning when you are trying to sleep!!!! There was no tub - even though there was enough space for it. The shower was al least 60 inches long - that was odd. Plus!!!! The smell of smoke following you everywhere - your clothes are soaked with this terrible smell when you come back to the room from the lobby. Not to mention an army of "real estate agent" who are jumping on you from every corner trying to trick you to by non-sense timeshare promising free vacations and tickets. People, even if you will stay there because it's cheap - don't let them offer you any free stuff - you are about to face the most shameful day of your life. DON"T DO IT. It'S NOT WORTH IT.
Pros: Good food courts, a lot of choices.
Cons: Dark, filthy, smelly
This hotel casino had so much to offer. Great food, great music. Our accomodations were comfortable and quick maid service when we needed anything. Check in seemed to be a challenge but once that was done, our stay there was relaxing and wonderful.
Pros: Something for everyone in this hotel!
I've never stayed at this hotel for a reason. You know that feeling you get when you walk into a place and you can tell whether it's going to be a good place you'll enjoy or you'd take a room if they gave it to you for free. Yeah this is one of those places I'd recommend for a free room. There's way too many kids at this one if you're a couple just trying for the romantic get-a-away. The outside is the best thing about it and that's how you should enjoy it, just passing by outside. No major attraction here, not the best looking interior - plus it smells old to me.
Well, I paid a pretty penny to stay here on a fully booked convention week. While waiting on line there's a fairly permanent sign to inform guests " As of 2003 there will be a $1 surcharge for use of telephone" What does that tell you about any customer serviced you may receive?
They say in the ad, "this is a magical castle." I say any resemblance to a castle ends as you get closer to the door. It only looks like a castle from the outside. The theme doesn't carry through.
Pros: The security was ok, they check guest keys entering the elevator. Maid service was good
Cons: Rooms are aging quicly. Place is big and long walk from parking
Never stay here. They have horrible customer service. I got bed bites the first night, hotel claimed it was "the sheets". Doctor says it was not the sheets or detergent. GROSS!!! They were jerks, I was so grossed about by every aspect of that hotel. The people that work there are horrible. I was made to stay up till midnight well they "cleaned" my sheets. Never changed our room after I was bitten over 30 times on my one arm from the bed. So gross. I will never stay there. Everyone I talk to I tell them never to stay there either. I hate this place. Don't go!!!!!!
Cons: horrible place
Must say I'm shocked that the Ex rates as high as it does on City Search. Maybe I'm super-new to this cite, but I figured the ratings were supposed to reflect a comparison of like establishments. If that's the case and I'm comparing the Ex to other Vegas hotels, I have to give it a below-average rating. The service is nothing to write home about. People are friendly, but no one goes out of their way. Rooms are very, very basic. I agree that the cooridors are dark and although the room was clean, it was dated and worn. Casino is slot heaven, intermittent drink service and smoooookkkky. Pool is nothing special, crowded with kids and closes early. Bright spot is the Enchanted Forrest Bar where you can play 25 cent video poker and enjoy promptly served, comped libations.
That said: If you're on a budget in Vegas, it's not the worst choice. The Ex is normally priced close to the Trop. The Trop is significantly more dated, more dingy and even poorer service. Nicer pool though. The room will do to crash after one too-many martinis. I suspect this is an excellent choice for twenty-somethings low on cash, or for people that don't really care to splurge on luxary. Location is good. If you can, spend the $20 more a night and uprade to Bally's or Flamingo. A MUCH nicer place for a little bit more money.
Bottom Line: If your expectations are in check, the Ex will do just fine.
Pros- it is full of unfit people that can't afford to gamble (easy for you to be a high roller), the television looked and functioned as if it had been hit by an 18 wheeler, and the iron was broken. Aside from those, it was really nice if you like your bed made up with one undersheet.
cons- A holiday inn express offers more ammenities... 20 dollars to use the fitness center, and no business center available at the time
My boyfriend and I just got back from Vegas last week and we stayed at the Excalibur during the first half of our vacation (the second half was at the Hyatt in Henderson. I was at a conference). I was very itchy from the harsh detergents used in the bed linens. Hopefully, that means they were clean. We ate at their italian restaurant, Regale. Very excepectional food and service. The service at the Sherwood Forest Cafe, however was barely tolerable. The rooms have extremely bleak decorations. Only a few stations available on the television. Excellent location. I liked the casino, I didn't lose any money there (so that could be why). There was a weird smell in the room. Bring air freshner!! The pillows aren't great either, so bring an extra one if you require fluffy pillows. We were on a non-smoking floor, but it was still very smokey.
Pros: Location, Cost
Cons: The room smelled, Very smokey
