I love this unpretentious nightspot. In this upscale, south beach-feel atmosphere, i felt i could relax and have a good time without feeling as if i was amongst "Stuffed Shirt" types. The people were cool and only want to have a good time. Tryst is not overpriced in any way. The menu was excellent, the food was delicious and just the right size for a bite while enjoying my drink. The girls were plentiful and everyone was having a great time.

Pros: Happening Spot, Inexpensive, Relaxed
I've been to Tryst several times and the crowd ranges on any given night. The atmosphere is always great. Weekend crowd ranges in age and is a little more upscale than the average bar. Tryst is a great place to go after Cubs games too. After a recent game on a Friday afternoon, there was live music and it was packed.

Pros: Crowded, Great location, Excellent service
This place is one of my favorites in Wrigleyville. The bartenders are quick and the service is awesome! The servers are always friendly and always attentive. When I was there I got one of their pizzas, and would reccommend the food to everyone. If you are looking for somewhere to go during the week for a drink after work or just with a group of friends, this is the place to go. If you are looking for good music and a fun, friendly environment on the weekend then Tryst is your place as well. I will for sure be going back in the near future!

Pros: Great service, food and environment! Good drink specials- ($5 martinis on fridays as well as $10 happy hour from 8-10)
Cons: ...cant think of any...
This is a great upscale lounge located in sports bar central. It's one of Chicago's best kept secrets! Great staff, great food (try the pesto pizza), and a fun atmosphere (especially during the Michigan State games!!). They have great specials too ($5 martinis when I was there and I know they have $6 pitchers of beer during the State games). This is a great bar if you are a little older and want to skip the college bar feel of most of the other bars in the area.

Was there last Saturday night. Music was great, vibe was great. Didn't feel like meat market, but there were plenty of girls to talk to.

I've met co-workers and friends alike at Tryst for an after work cocktail. We always get the martinis and like experimenting with the vast amount they have on their menu. Nice spot.
4Tryst likes to pretend it's high class, but really, any lounge that would have $3 u-call-its is cheap. The space is narrow and stuffy, the crowd is pretentious and need to put their money where their mouth is. Bartenders and bouncers who work there need to get off their high horse and just accept the fact that they're working at a college bar.
