okay service while we used them. then we moved from nyc and canceled account. they continued to charge a total of over $1500 in services. luckily we spotted it and called the credit card company numerous times and resolved it. seriously, stay away!! either gross negligence or outright fraud seems to be occurring. if there was a zero star rating they deserve it

ALL THE REVIEWS BELOW WERE SOMEWHAT ACCURATE AT TIMES ... Unfortunately ...or for the clients, fortunately...Queen Bee has been sold and the new owners have a lot of experience in running a diaper service. So NY should look forward for a more reliable , consistent service - with the same great diapers and products but better customer service.

Regina Mose aka queen Bee is either in a lot of trouble or is a crook. She needs to get it straight. After canceling service I am wrapped up in credit card disputes over charges that keep coming in. I have heard she is not paying her drivers nor has she paid the laundromat where the diapers are washed. Don't get involved.

Spare yourself a headache. Do not use them! I used Queen Bee service for almost 5 months because I was dedicated to give my son the best which I believed the fabric diapers are. I researched them and despite bad reviews that I found I really wanted to do it. I've got word from Regina that the service has improved. Unfortunately that is not so. First I didn't receive the welcome package so I went and bought the pants and everything by myself. Then the diapers didn't get picked up on time and I ended up washing them myself. After I complained, the service improved and I was happy, but after about 1 month I received diapers that were full of dogs' hair. I wanted to cancel immediately but Regina again promised that the service will improve. I was so determined to use fabric diapers that I agreed with free week as a bonus and continued with the service. Everything was fine for about 2 months when I suddenly received email that my credit card wasn't charged periodically and I was being charged $780 for past 5 months. I asked for detailed accounting but I never received it. I haven't heard from Regina ever since. The company is VERY unprofessional and if you start dealing with them, I am certain that sooner or later you will end up frustrated and unhappy - which is not, what new parents should feel.

I used Queen Bee for over a year - because I could not find anything else - and I was hugely disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer service. I would NOT recommend them. It took me 2 months just to cancel my account because their main phone number was disconnected, the cellphone voicemail would not accept messages, and even text messages and emails were not responded to! I found the whole experience frustrating, and it was a waste of money.

I have to start off by saying that this is one of the most unprofessional organizations out here. Aside from the diapers having a bad scent, the owner Regina was noncompliant to my needs. I left several messages for her regarding billing questions as well as messages regarding wrong sizes. Ive only been with Queen Bee for 3 months and I have to say that this was not a pleasant experience at all, I have recently discontinued using them. The only pro about Queen Bee is that deliveries are punctual and the driver is very willing. He came on his day off to pick up dirty diapers for my husband and I thankfully.

***Would not recommend this diaper service to any mothers who care about their babies*** Look elsewhere...

I've been a Queen Bee customer for nearly 10 months now, ever since my daughter was born. The good news is that they pick up the dirty diapers and deliver the clean ones every Sunday like clockwork. The bad news is Regina does not return phone calls or emails, which I find maddeningly unprofessional. I have left her no less than 10 messages on her cell phone -- which she said I was free to call anytime. She returned my calls one time and left a message that basically told me she did not listen to any of my questions. DO NOT BOTHER with Queen Been. It's too frustrating to have no customer service when you have a question or want to change diaper sizes or need to put the account on hold for a week or two because of going on vacation. Luckily, there is now a new service in NYC -- Diaper Kind (diaperkind.com) -- and I plan to switch to it as soon as our months of gifts of service expire. I can't wait! I also plan to file complaints about Queen Bee with both the Better Business Bureau and the NYC Dept. of Consumer Affairs, and I urge other annoyed customers to do the same!

My wife and I used Queen Bee Diaper Service for two months this past summer (2008) when our baby was first born. I'd highly recommend NOT using them, and unfortunately, there aren't any other diaper services in the area that I know of.

Queen Bee has the absolute worst service of any business I've ever dealt with. They missed almost every pickup, which added a bunch of anxiety at a time when I didn't really need any more. They pick up on Saturdays, but don't answer their phone on the weekends, meaning that you're going to wait at least two more days for your pickup/delivery. As a matter of fact, they don't really answer their phone (at any of the 3 or 4 numbers they give) at all, and their voice mails are always full. Their driver also doesn't answer his phone.

We were much, much happier when we switched from using Queen Bee's pre-fold diapers to using FuzziBunz and cleaning them ourselves. The FuzziBunz work much better then the prefolds, which leak much more readily, are difficult to put on, and don't wick the moisture away
from the baby - the baby just sits there with the wet diaper against it's skin, and was pretty susceptible to diaper rash as a result. If you have a washing machine, FuzziBunz are they way to go.

I want to warn everyone reading some of these recent reviews that they are often biased and untrue in many circumstances. For instance - we do not take checks - only credit cards. The "Orange" review is comletly false. We return ALL keys the week after service by mail. Our diaper smell of absaloutly nothing but cotton and are tested regular to ensure they are free of all residue (detergent, etc...) and pH balanced. We deliver diapers every week within a 2 hour time frame with a heads-up call from the driver. You never have to be home for deliveries- as we will accomodate anything you like (i.e. leaving with doorman, leaving in front of apartment door, in laundry room, etc..) so 90% of our clients are not even home for deliveries. As far as I know Tidy Diapers has goone out of business a while ago - but feel free to confirm. All and any fee's that may be incured at any point are sent via an email agreement before registration can be completed. The client then must accept this fee schedule before becoming a client of Queen Bee.

As a final note - most of my 300+ clients are happy and satisfied and use the service until thier baby is potty trained (ussually before 2 years old). Those clients don't take the time out of their day normally to write a review. The few clients that have written poor reviews were short term clients and were unfortunatley not satisfied. I urge you to call 347-522-5308 with any questions and try the service for yourself and join the hundreds of satisfied clients at Queen Bee offering you a healthier , greener, and more convinient way to diaper your baby.

Take the time to read these reviews and you will find that the negative reviews are thoughtful and personal. The positive reviews are generic and glowing and often have similar typos. Whether or not they were written by the Queen Bee herself, they do not reflect our customer experience with Queen Bee.

I tried Queen Bee last spring and decided that waiting inside all day on a weekend for diapers was a waste of time. The Queen Bee solution to their unreliable delivery service was to a) have a doorman or b) give their delivery guy a key to the building, neither of which worked for me. We decided to leave Queen Bee before we even got started and ended up being hit will all sorts of hidden fees. Eventually, we reached an agreement, but not without a back and forth banter of emails and phone calls in which we found Regina (the Queen Bee) to be very unprofessional.

Like other reviewers, we decided to wash our own. This worked well until we went back to work at four months. We would gladly switch from disposals to a reasonably-priced well-run diaper service. If there are any enterprising New Yorkers out there, Queen Bee needs competition!

I think that the majority of people who take the time to make a review are those that have something to complain about. I am not sure what happened with the other reviewers but my service has been flawless. The owner gave me her cell phone number the first time I had a question about something and has encouraged me to call her anytime - which I have. I had twins in December 2007 and started using cloth right from the beginning. Queen Bee accommodated my tiny babies back then and has been a great resource for my growing babes. The driver calls me about 1 hour before he gets here every Saturday afternoon and the pick-up and deliveries go smoothly. I would never self-launder my own diapers - on top of the million other daily chores who in their right mind would spend all that time with poopy diapers when Queen Bee will wash, dry, iron and deliver it right to your door? My babies have yet to show any signs of diaper rash, as oppose to my sisters children - who all wore disposables and all had diaper rash. I think it is unfair to the hard working bee's to be poorly reviewed in such a public forum - because it certainly does not represent them.

There is NO SERVICE related to this company. They are AWFUL. We have a newborn, They never showed up the first week. They promised all would be well the second week- and NEVER SHOWED UP AGAIN.

We are now washing our own diapers, and are quite happy. Buy your own cloth, put them in the wash (poop and all) with extra detergent, and all will be fine. If you have stains after the first load of laundry, put detergent on the stain and rewash with normal laundry. DO NOT HIRE QUEEN BEE!!!

I really enjoy using cloth diapers on my baby. He is 18 weeks now and he has never had diaper rash. They are super easy to use, and with a diaper service it cuts out the hard part of using cloth diapers. Putting 70 dirty diapers out each week and having them miraculously turn into 70 clean diapers is magic. When the diapers are delivered they are spotless. They smell fresh but not heavily treated with any nasty chemicals.

I would highly recommend this service to anyone who is considering using cloth diapers. The staff have really gone out of their way to accommodate us with any problems we have encountered. Using these diapers is actually easier than juggling with disposables because you don't even have to go to the store to pick them up.

When there is a service like this available what reason is there to fill up the landfill with nasty plastic that will be on the planet longer than any of us, our children, or even grandchildren!! Thank goodness Queen Bee are around to do the dirty work!

I've been with Queen Bee a couple of months. Phone calls rarely/never get returned and emails only occasionally. Difficult to nail down delivery time which means many a beautiful Sunday wasted inside waiting. You are not even given a "window." At twice the price of diaper service anywhere else in the country, you hardly get what you pay for. But, it has encouraged me to do cloth diapering myself as I'll soon be discontinuing service and buying my own. So I'll guess I'll be saving money. If they had any competition at all, perhaps they'd be a little professional, but since they don't, I guess why bother? I can't think under what circumstances I would recommend them, since I would worry that the service would drive people to disposables. The people are friendly, though.

We have been waiting for over a week for a response to various emails and phone calls. We have a brand new baby and have been hand washing diapers because Queen Bee never showed up with new diapers. We have no idea when or if they will ever get in contact with us. CLOTH DIAPERS ARE GREAT- FIND A DIFFERENT SERVICE!! DO NOT USE QUEEN BEE!

First of all I can't believe what those other reviewers are talking about. I have been a client of Queen Bee for about 7 months now , and they are fantastic. My baby has never had diaper rash and the driver is always on time. The diapers are white, soft and smell like nothing at all. They are accommodating and very knowledgeable. If you want to use cloth - Queen Bee is the way to go. You get to use a healthy , great product without any effort at all. I personally think using cloth with Queen Bee is easier than going to the store constantly and buying disposables. I have yet to experience any issues at all with them. Furthermore , a few months ago I went on vacation and needed a pick-up mid-week , and they arranged it with no problems. I started using them when I lived in Park Slope and now I live in Hoboken, NJ and thankfully they deliver here too. Basically, I highly recommend Queen Bee Diaper Service.

I am a new mom and new customer of queen bee. I live in Park Slope and have had great service. My pediatrician and Midwife also recommended queen bee to me and I have had little Zoe for 6 weeks and not seen any signs of rash on her bum. The diapers are always white and never smell like perfume or bleach. I was having some issues with fit in the beginning ,, because Zoe was born 6lbs 7oz and the Regina came by my house the day that I called her and showed me how to use a Snappi - which completely took care of the problem. All my emails are answered with like 20 minutes , so don't listen to all this non-sense about bad service - queen bee is a great resource for park slope and NYC in general.

Thank you so much for all your help in getting rid of my baby's diaper rash. No matter what me and my wife did nothing helped and then I switched to cloth diapers and queen bee diaper service - within THREE DAYS the diaper rash was gone , my pediatrician was so happy with Queen Bee that he hung up their poster in the reception area. I live in the Lower East Side and have a 5 floor walk-up and the driver is always smiling and never has any complaints. I agree with you Cynthia's mom , the "queen bee" is really helpful and sweet like honey! =)

I have been a client of Queen Bee Diaper Service for 7 months. They're are fantastic and I highly recommend them for anyone out there who wants to use a healthy and truly green product for their baby. I don't know about the two users who gave bad reviews for queen bee , but I know that they have been very helpful and punctual with all of our deliveries. We started out using 7th generation with our baby and she got terrible diaper rash. After I started using queen bee all of that went away. Now I don't use any creams or lotions for diaper rash , just cotton diapers and Cynthia is so happy and looks adorable in the organic velour covers that queen bee provided. Three of my neighbors are also using queen bee and they have no complaints. The delivery guys shows up in our neighborhood every Sunday with a fresh batch of diapers and pick's up our soiled ones. We all gave him a key to the building and he simply does the exchange in our hallway's. I can't see why everyone wouldn't jump on the queen bee ban-wagon, it's less expensive in the long run and you get a healthy and green product for your babies tush. And I agree the "queen bee" of queen bee diaper service is very knowledgeable , partly due , Im sure because she has worked professionally with pregnant women and newborns for over 6 years!

So to some it up , I hope everyone joins queen bee and spreads the word on how easy it is to use cloth diapers, especially when you have such a fantastic service that caters totall your needs for such a fair price!

Horrible sservice!!! Not worth the hassle you will be guaranteed!!!

Queen Bee Diapers is seriously lacking in the service area. We loved the idea of cloth diapers, and using them is no more challenging than disposable diapers; however, we were customers for only two weeks the service was so bad. Not once did Queen Bee deliver the diapers when they said they would, which left a new mom stuck in the house waiting on them. When the diapers finally showed up they reeked of cigarette smoke from the drivers (we never saw the same person twice). When we called to discuss problems, the voicemail was full or when we could leave a message no one called back. We certainly never had anyone come to our house or attempt to win our trust in the way the other person describes... that must be an old review because it certainly isn't the service they provide now in 2008!!

Queen Bee is not worth your while: buy environmentally-friendly disposables--like Whole Foods brand or Seventh Generation--instead.

On one hand, we really like the clean, fresh diapers that Queen Bee delivers every week. They pick up the dirty ones, and deliver clean ones. Simple.

On the other hand, I'm quite literally astounded by how disorganized and sloppy the service has been. Due to a series of amateur hour errors, we've been without diapers for a week. Every time we call, they apologize profusely, and then take no action (or the wrong action -- most recently, they delivered the wrong number of the wrong sized diapers).

Regina (owner) is amazing! She is so knowledgable and friendly. The service is great , I save money, save the enviornment, and put my baby in healthy diapers. Not to mention how cute these diapers are.Since her site was under cunstruction and I wanted to see all the differant types of diaper covers she offered - she came to my house! She brought wool , hemp, organic cotton, fleece and poly covers with her - I chose the perfect ones and she even sized them to be perfect for my baby. The drivers are great - always on time, always with a smile, The diapers come back every time as clean as the first time - white and so soft. The first time I used it I couldn't understand why the diaper leaked , I called her at 10 pm on a Monday - she picked up! She emailed me a video tutorial in a couple of minutes my problem was solved. I highly reccomend Queen Bee Diaper Service.
