As seems to be par for the course in local game trading stores in my area, the employees of Gamestop seem to be geared for high pressure car sales. They also seem to bear the stress of a 'failing salesperson' as they can be quite rude and fairly uneducated when it comes to the products they are pushing. This was made most evident when several years ago I went to sell an XBOX at Gamestop, and was not only refused, but TOLD not to return to their store when upon testing the normally green ring that lights up when the system is powered on instead lit up orange and I was accused of trying to sell them a 'modified system'. Truth was the 'manager' failed to connect the A/V cables correctly (the manager failed to push the plug all the way into the port, which by default gives you an orange ring). I only shop here if there is no other viable option. Generally they don't want to sell you what you came for, they want to sell you what they themselves are being pressured to move. But as I said, most all game trading stores in my area are the same. My suggestion: shop online in advance with shipping delay in mind. Waiting a few days for something you really want beats having to argue with teenagers to coax them into selling you what you want. You can generally find a better price online and you get rid of the needless salesperson. This is in part why I left consoles behind and went with PC for gaming, as well as the fact that high-end PCs smoke consoles...but that's a story for another review :)

My 15 year old son and his Aunt purchased an XBox for his birthday. They were told that if they returned within 30 days, they could get an upgrade to a XBox 360 plus $110.00. When we returned to do the upgrade, the store DENIED ever having such a deal. Needless to say my son was very disappointed, and we will never go back there again.
