I got married last October and our flowers were beautiful! Clover and her team were awesome...they suggested the perfect flowers and within my budget...and I had a tight budget.
Our wedding was in Palm Springs, so I was kinda worried about my flowers drying out...since it's a two hour drive and in the desert, BUT they lasted all day...PERFECTLY!
Believe me, weddings are always hectic for a bride- but I didn't have
to worry one bit about my flowers!

I also order flowers for my boss and friends on a regular basis- I'm always taken care of, not too mention their flowers are sooo unique.
I love, love, love their designs! Thank you guys. Keep up the good work!

Wow...their must be a mix up....my girlfriend asked me if I could recommend a great florist in LA. I told her she must call Dandelion Ranch. Then she told me about this!!. I wonder if she hired the same Dandelion Ranch? Clover and her ranchhands made my wedding dreams come true. When I was a little girl, I adored dandelions and made a gazillion wishes while walking home from piano practice. The minute I found their site, I knew I had to meet with them. They deliverd everything I imagined and Im not easy to work with. I guess some bridzilla's (My fave show) get lost in the stress of our big day. Dandelion Ranch took what was months of sleepless nights and made it all worth it. Highly Recommended.

Dear Tiffany,
You are absolutely right. Your cost cutting process took weeks. The thing is, you held the date without disclosing what your real budget was and you were disingenuous about it, making gradual cuts up to the last minute. When you were done, you had cut out the centerpieces, you had cut out the cake table, you had cut out the cocktail tables, you had cut out the entry arrangement, you had cut out the flower girls, the bathroom flowers, the end tables... You even cut two people from your bridal party. Then you changed the flower garland to a price that I did not feel comfortable operating with and I warned you that I didn??t. And if our first estimate mentions a 100 ft floral ??garland?, the later ones clearly states ??strings? of Chrysanthemums, reflecting our conversations about it and my worries.
We had driven twice to the location of your wedding, some hour and a half away from our studio, that??s a combined 6 hours driving; once to meet with you and once after you made changes because I really cared and wanted to see if I could make this work despite your changes. We typed up countless revisions. We had 50 email exchanges and countless phone calls. You were not referred to a B level assistant but an assistant. It??s not at all the cold shoulder because of price, it??s normal Tiffany, I simply cannot handle every call personally: I am the designer and have to design.
So when your cost cutting got to a point where I did not feel comfortable doing your wedding, I did not get upset with you for all the time wasted. And you didn't consider going with another florist but, because I care, it was I who referred you not to a bad florist that would make me look good, but one of the best, Mark??s Gardens. They are a top-notch florist and closer to your venue. But you begged, and it being so close to your wedding I relented.
Tiffany, we do weddings because we enjoy them. Our website clearly states that we only take a limited number of engagements in order for us to do great work. If we were money grubbers we??d pile them on and book everything in sight. Usually, when our services are more than a bride wants to spend, they let us know quickly after the initial estimate. We are not all that expensive and have done weddings for $3000 for brides who gushed at the result. But never had we been subjected to such a slow, gradual, and now I??m inclined to think, premeditated grinding. You are the only bride that has ever been disappointed with us. We were equally disheartened.
A vase did break, not two, and you are correct: there was no replacement for it. By the time you were done with us, there was no room for replacements Tiffany. You wanted centerpieces for $25. You wanted $50 bridesmaids bouquets. As to us not doing part of our contract that is a flat out lie. What actually happened is that you asked to do some of your own branch arrangements and wanted us simply to add flowers to them (it says that in our contract ??add flowers to existing branch arrangements?). However, when we got to the site, your mother threw the branches at us and ordered us to arrange them. We did not do the arrangements but as mentioned in the contract, we did add flowers to them. Your mother even pointed out what a wonderful job my assistant did with it.
Nevertheless, we are grateful for the experience because you were an inspiration to us. After your wedding we rewrote our entire booking policy, terms and conditions, so as to never be subjected to this again.

P.S. The phone number in the listing for us is wrong.

Because of my neg experience, I was compelled to sign up & explain. Yes their florals are lovely, but their customer service LACKS. Pure novices. In March I inquired w/ owner to do my June wedding. I explained I didn't need a lot because it was in nature. Cool. I finally received a quote in early May. At over $8k, it was for everything imaginable, which was ok--I wanted to see what she came up with. During this time she was nice and pleasant to work with.

When I began to cut items from quote I started to get the cold shoulder. I was passed to a B level assistant...who wasn't swift. Because I was a low priority to them, this quote-cutting process took weeks.

3 WEEKS before my wedding, I finally knocked the floral budget down to reasonable $2k and was put back in touch with the owner. She e-mailed me to explain if I further removed any more items from the quote, I would no longer be worth her time & should go elsewhere. I contemplated going with a different florist, but was too spent from wedding planning.

My wedding day was a disaster:

? I was never shown an example of what the bouquets would look like & was disappointed when they arrived. I asked for natural look--I received stiff flowers in a "mound."

? The owner refused to do part of her contract. When my mom pointed this out, owner said, "If you would have paid more money, you would have gotten this!"

? I paid for (3) tall glass vases. (1) vase arrived broken, another one's bottom fell out when rocks were placed in it. No replacement was brought in for either. Could they use cheap, low-quality vases?

? I paid $500 for hanging mums in tree. The mums were only strung thru once w/ fishing line & not looped around or glued. By ceremony's end, most mums were on the ground.

If you have a good budget for florals, you might get better treatment. If you don't, stay far away from Dandelion Ranch. They didn't seem to care about my needs...was obviously LOW priority. They only cared about my money.
