Only went once because it was scary do not like the bowling and club scene mixed and the patrons here were not of a high quality. I would say your money is better spent some where safer!

We've been bowling here a couple of times. The great thing about this bowling alley is that they want you to have fun. They have lane service from the bar and great drinks!

The facility itself I found to be very nice. It certainly isn't a 'dive'. That said, the prices are definitely on the high end as well.

The uniqueness of this bowling alley is that there is a server assigned to your lane who handles everything from bringing you food and drinks, to helping in setting up your game on the computer, to bringing you your check when you are finished. That's right, you pay your server for the costs of your games as well. I found this to be a little disturbing because a tip was expected based on the cost of my bowling game and shoe rental.

Overall, I had a fun experience with my group. We did not eat, so I cannot give a review of the food. But the alcohol was served promptly and the place was very clean. I really can't ask for a lot more than that.

First of all, I generally do not find time to complain about my experience and generally speaking it does not take alot for me to not turn a bad experience into somethng good... However, in all my years, 300 is the worst place that I every spent My time and Money. Without spending anymore my useful energy, I beg of anyone to not waste their time or money at this place. 300 should be called ZERO, Shame on the owners and management!

This is place is a RIPOFF. Don't be fooled by the $5 shoes and $6 per game. We had a big group and they refused to split the check. The ATM was broken and they charged us $36 for gratuity...AT A BOWLING ALLEY!!!! I paid $6.15 for a Bud Lite and $5 for a sprite. It was a hassle trying to pay and it was a miserable experience all around. Go to your local Brunswick branch, you'll be much happier and a have few more dollars in your pocket.

Pros: Nice layout

Cons: Very Expensive, Not able to split checks, expensive drinks.

The atmosphere is fun for groups, the drinks are average as is the food; but the actual bowling is completely overpriced! \r
\r
The waitstaff I have had behave as though you should be greatful for the fact that you get to be waited on by them. Those I have been ""graced with"" act as if you are bothering them when you actually want to order something like you just called them out of their name! Go figure.\r
\r
Advice: Eat first to avoid as much contact with the waitstaff as you possibly can; they seem to like it that way. Dont ask any questions to people who look as though they work there because they will get attitude with you because you expect them to be working.

I had heard mixed opinions about this place, cool and hip yet overpriced and not worth it. That is about what it wrapped up to be. The fun level was high, I liked the quick streamlined lane, shoes, and ball process. They have a waitress that serves you right from your alley although a few times I felt I could have gone to the bar quicker myself. There are huge projection screens above the end of the lanes that play pop music videos which is cool. Everything about the bowling activity is new age; super quick ball return, very accurate scoring, computer screens, etc. We didn't eat but did order drinks. WARNING: Do not order a pitcher of Sam Adams, it cost us $17 something!!! Way too expensive for a domestic beer, any beer really. Overall we did spend alot but were prepared for it. Value is a toss up, lots of fun but we paid for it.

Well some people might want a fancy bowling alley. And I can see that. BUT 300 Atlanta is a cheap version of a very expensive bowling alley. It is a bowling alley, but way over priced. It tries to be upscale, but the clients and the service are far below par. The bathrooms are disgusting, the drinks are overpriced (but lord do those midori margaritas sell!), and the lanes and the wait are just not worth it. It is a good bowling alley but trying, and failing, much too hard, and absolutely losing in the battle..

The bowling alley has been there for a long time and recently changed it's name, and i'm assuming owners. The food is not great, so this place is good if you eat elsewhere.

This place is amazing. It's like a one stop shop for fun, foos and drinks! If you want to sit at the bar and have a drink with friends, or sit at a table and have a nice meal, or even play a quick game of bowling, Atlanta 300 is the place to go! Everytime I go I have the best time because the music is great and the wings are really good! I would suggest this place to anyone who is looking for all around fun.

This is an upscale bowling alley different from your run-of-the-mill place. Everything is nice and clean, colorful and hip. The seats next to the lanes are comfortable, and you even get a server who takes orders and can bring drinks and food. The prices are definitely a little higher, but it was worth the experience. It's not the kind of place I'd go to frequently, but every now and then with a group of friends it wouldn't be too bad.

300 is a bowling alley that is more than just a bowling alley. They have everything that you can imagine...not only do you have music going, but you get your own little private waiter who stands there ready to take your drink or food order. I mean, honestly I really like this place and I don't even like to bowl...i go with my friends and have a good time dancing and partying while they're bowling!!! Definitely go here, you'll love it!

This place SUCKED!!!!!!! I will recommend this place to no one. No one worked there seems to know what was going on with orders, drinks or food. We waited 3 hours for some wings but got the check in two minutes which had items on it that we did not order. We would have left but had family playing on lanes. The prices was way to high but I could looked over it if the food would have came on time. Oh my God please let me mention the bathroom, it was so nasty. If they plan on marketing this place as upscale then PLEASE hire a bathroom attendant. No paper or soap was in the rest room. I really hope the staff did not have use this facility. By the way is this the same place on the website. HA HA.\r
Don't forget about that DJ who played every song twice back to back, what's up with that. 300 scores a gutter ball.

This is my first review on Citysearch. We went to this place yesterday with a bunch of my friends. Even though the price is on the higher side ($5 for shoes, $6 per game/per person before 5pm), we had a good time. The alley's are hip and clean. The service is good. We don't have to move from the sitting area to order something. Overall we had fun. I had to give 1 less star 'cos of the price :)

I visited before it became 300 and honestly I appreciate AMF before the transformation. If I wanted to go to a club, I would go to a club. I don't expect to have to tip the wait staff at the bowling alley for bringing me food and drinks!! They came in handy because it was extremely crowded for no apparent reason. The big screens showed videos not in sync with the music the DJ was playing!!! Personally, I would prefer to keep the club and bowling alley separate. There was a fight in the girls restroom and DeKalb county police frequently scour the crowd for vagrants!!! It's not your typical bowling alley is an understatement.

I had been eager to visit 300 for months, when my coworker and I decided to stop by there Friday during ""Happy Hour"". I called a ahead to see when ""Happy Hour"" was over. After immediately putting me on hold, the receptionist came back to the phone and said that ""Happy Hour"" ended at 9pm. My coworker and I arrived at 7:20. \r
\r
When we got to the bar, we asked the waitress what was the HH specials? She then asked someone else who said that HH was over at 7. I wasnt ""Happy"". Then we both ordered our drinks. My Strawberry Margarita was $11 and my coworkers Margarita with a shot of patron was $14. Now neither of us were ""Happy"". \r
\r
The next time we both will go to Apple Bee's ($2 Long Islands) or to the Mexican Restuarant on that same street as 300 for a Decent Happy Hour experience.

This place has been here FOREVER. I have been coming to Savoy Drive for Great Bowling, Games and Food for over 25 years. When Savoy Drive had the Steak & Ale the Mad Italian and others it was still a ""meeting spot"" The place has always set the standard. This is one of the few bowling alleys where the food is actually GOOD. Some places look like everything they serve is from the freezer to the microwave, but 300 Atlanta was much better. And their drinks are not watered down. You can actually get the buzz you expect without going broke at the bar. I will agree they are a little more expensive than some other places, but sometimes you just get what you pay for. If I have to pay more for better service, better lanes, and better food, then I am glad to spend my money there.

I would say that the idea of bowling while watching videos is attractive but the crowd at this place is young -- early college age. If you are under the age of 24 & enjoy rap music, you'll probably fit in.

I enjoy bowling, and since I moved here I have been to several bowling alleys that were not worth the cost of gas to drive there. I was taken to 300 Atlanta on a date and the guy had heard me complain about the quality of bowling alleys, and he knew how much I loved bowling. The first thing that impressed me was that we didn't have to pay up front. Most places charge you for non-refundable games before they even give you a lane. When we got to the lane and our waitress came up, I wasn't quite sure what her purpose was... but i soon learned. My daughter was with us, and she kept pushing the call button. Our waitress responded promptly and courteously every time. \r

This place was a TOTAL RIP OFF!! We tried to do something different and what a mistake we made. First of all this place isn?t nearly as nice in person as it is on the website. Second of all the service was HORRIBLE & the food & drinks were way over priced. The bartenders have NO IDEA how to make drinks, I ordered a very common shot for my friend and the bartender had to look it up in a book. Needless to say the shot was horrible. Thirdly, shoe rentals cost almost as much as the bowling does not to mention that fact that apparently some people are exempt from wearing bowling shoes since the people on the lane next to us were bowling in their flip flops. At the end of the night when the bill came we all just wanted to split it up evenly but we were told that they could not accept more than 2 credit cards (something we should have been told up front) so we were going to go & get cash but their ATM machine was broken. Finally, they agreed to split the bill for us and there were several items on our receipt that we did not have but we all wanted to get out of there SO BADLY that we just paid it and left. I have never written a bad review before but I had to make sure to warn everyone about this place. Terrible experience!

I am not originally from Atlanta, but live here now.The price to bowl here is waaaaaaaaaaay to expensive for bowling. $5 per game, per person is RIDICULOUS!!! The food prices are outrageous, for what I call ""Mcdonalds served on plates"" & who's stupid idea was it to have a concerige at your bowling lane standing over you watching your every move!!! & by the way Glow Bowling is not new...it has been around for at least 20 yrs! I am used to paying maybe $5 for a lane no matter how many people you bring with you & being served regular bar like food that you have to get yourself. We only bowled 2 games there with four people. All we ordered were 2 beers & a pitcher of water, no food, & our grand total was almost $60 for that!!!! If we ordered food it would have been almost $80. Plus there were people there actually bowling in ""clubbing"" clothes like they were at a nightclub.\r
\r
We gave up, drove to the ""hood"" where we ended up spending a total of under $30 for food, shoes, and a lane for all 4 of us, and bowled 4 more games! If you want to have fun, & do ""real"" bowling, go to the hood and you'll get your money's worth. But if you just want to waste money & be around superficial people just to look good, feel free to bowl at 300!!!

I realize that it's not much of a fair statement, but this AMF must skimp on the anti-bacterial foot spray.

I don't understand how difficult it is to do something as simple as spray out rental shoes before renting them to your patrons. I even saw out the corner of my eye two people who rented shoes that had not yet been sprayed. Shoes weren't the only weak spot, however. The bar was not restocked and had only one type of beer. The food was greasy, the popcorn had butter when we asked that it be left out, the lanes kept stalling and conking out, and there seemed to be only two sizes of bowling balls available, even though there were only four other people on other lanes.

It's the little things that really make a night fun, things that you take for granted. If you're willing to gamble on AMF consistency and are only there to hang out with friends, go with it anyway. However, if you're serious about your bowling, Brunswick lanes would be more appropriate.

PROS: Nice blacklighting, clean lanes and chairs.
CONS: Eau de toejam shoes and the lowest quality hot dogs imaginable

First time I went here was with a bachelorette group - fun except for the lame, unrecognizable (except to him, I guess) music that night's DJ played for Xtreme bowling. The second time I reserved 2 lanes for my birthday - the music was much better but we had constant problems with the 2 lanes not returning balls and not keeping the correct scores, or screens blanking out mid-game. Management came numerous times to assist and reset but never offered to put us in different lanes or offered us money off. Doubt I'll go back. Would not recommend.

Pros: 9pm Xtreme bowling, Convenient location

Cons: Nonworking equipment!, Not enough balls
