The spa was a beautiful property that features exceptional style and a spacious floor plan. Aura Wellness Spa was well appointed with beautiful decor and furnishings.
The moment we arrived at the Aura Wellness Spa, the initial impression was the staff had lacked an understanding of the general idea of communication. This was our first time to this particular spa and we were unfamiliar with packages offered. We decided that we would have the Jade Package which included a massage and facial. However we thought there would be a clear description prior to having any of the services of what each entailed such as types of massages, how long it would last, what type of facial we would have, the type of lotions they would use, this was not the case.
We never felt comfortable in any way while in the Spa. We had no idea what to expect or where to go and this was unfortunate. Not once was anyone ready in anticipation of our arrival, they were setting up the rooms as we were walking in and that is disappointing because we made a reservation two weeks in advance.
I would imagine that the main goal of a spa is to be soothing, comforting or relaxing however Aura Wellness Spa completely missed this concept. I did not find the spa to be relaxing nor comforting because of these challenges I experienced.
I have been to many different types of spas and I would have to say this was the most impressive because there is an amazing product yet sadly disappointing because of the lack of readiness or communication.
As a person who works in the Hospitality Industry, you can have an amazing product but lack the customer service to turn that property/services into LUXURY.
In my opinion, Aura Wellness Spa falls short of that expectation and that speaks volumes.
