Their vegetables are not bland like so many other restaurants. Their black eyed peas and greens are to die for. I haven't had anything here that I didn't like and I always take vegetables to go home. Their entrees are good too. Also, they serve their great gumbo starting in the fall and it is awesome. Tastes like the gumbo my grandmother and aunt made when I was a kid.
