I have been to their sister restaurant in Santa Monica, which is very good, but this place isn't. Was shocked at what a bad experience it was. Save your money. There's lots of other restaurants in L.A.

This establishment serves authentic mexican cuisine, it tastes like your grandmothers food served gourment style. The restuarant is great for dates, it has a terrific ambiance. I would recommend it to anyone.

La Serenata De Garibaldi isn't a place I'd normally visit, but after I got there, I was glad I did. Not only was the food good, I really enjoyed the level of service I got there. I would recommend it to a friend.

La Serenata is just wonderful. This location is especially great (though Santa Monica is lovely as well), because they almost always have mariachi players live (due I'm sure to the fact that they're half a block away from Mariachi Plaza).

Service is extremely slow. This is not the place to go if you're in a hurry. Food is great, and I think this place is good for a date. You can sit and chat for a while, which isn't a problem if you are waiting a while for your food.
