I really enjoyed the treatments I had at Toscana Day Spa, the staff was great and the spa is beautiful and serenity. This spa is the best place to go for Brazilian Wax and facials. Just Excellent!! I would highly recommend this spa!

I booked a last minute appointment at Toscana day spa with Christine for eyebrows and full leg wax, based on the glowing review on this site. I could not have been more pleased, not only was the experience as painless as waxing can be but I was smooth in just about 45 minutes! My eyebrows looked amazing. Highly recommend this place.

I have been up and down this St and wasted my money on countless facials that did nothing to help me but once Doina's hands touched my face, I knew I found heaven. I have sensitive skin that breaks out. In my mid-twenties, I'm too old to feel like a an awkward 15 yr old all over again. After one visit and I saw amazing results!! I wasn't rushed like other Newbury St spa, feeling like I was cattle-herded in and out. I was pampered over an hr and half and went I left my skin was looked and felt fabulous. I can't wait to go back for my next appointment

The atmosphere of this Newbury St gem (it's wedged between the Lucky / Diesel Jeans stores and Economy Hardware - right across from CVS) will have you more relaxed as soon as you step in. And given the quality of their services, their prices are well below that I expected.

The stylists and estheticians are some of the best in the field - their stylist used to cut Tom Brady's hair, and their esthetician, a perfect gentleman which hails from California, was voted the best in Boston for his skill and care. I was just coming in the place when a customer who came in with his wife raved, "That was the best facial I have ever gotten".

While looking them up, I also found out that their Cumberland, RI salon was voted the state's best by the Rhode Island Monthly - they should be less bashful and let customers know that. That just makes it even more exciting that they have opened this Boston location as well!

Thanx to Bouchra, i can put my worries about my hair to rest. She always does a magnificent job, whether it is color, highlights or cut or anything that has to do with your hair. I've been to many salons before but nobody could understand my needs as Bouchra does nor were they as patient. I have a high maintenance hair and only Bouchra has the expertise to make it look its best,which why i call her magic hands. If you haven't met Bouchra yet, i urge you to give her a try, i'm sure you'll be extremely satisfied. She truly is the best hairdresser i've ever had!

Now I know why Brad is called a literal miracle worker. I have had facials at some of the finest spas in the world, nothing compares to the treatment I received from Brad. The results... glowing and lifted. I am still seeing the difference two weeks later. My advice to anyone looking to turn back the hands of time and get completely pampered, go see Brad, he is truly amazing!

I thought it was still Salon Pinni and just walked in thinking I would get an eyebrow wax. Doina ended up doind my brows-the arch is perfect! I did reschedule for a facial and you can't find any better!!! They have a big selection of some of the most amazing lines (Bare Minerals, Emminence and Epicuren are just a few) and the quality of work is like nothing else. My skin looks and feels 100 times better than before I walked in. I've lived in Boston for years now and am familiar with the talent on Newbury, but by far, this is the best!
The place is huge, the staff and atmosphere is warm and inviting! Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable and the quality is beyond superb!!!!
GO THERE!

Stanley has been doing my hair for about 5 years now. Why? Because he is one of the very few who knows what he is doing. I can't tell you how many newbury st salons have butchered my hair, and one time even melted it and i really wanted to die. That is how i found Stanley. He seriously fixed my problems and sent me on my way..and so i came back.
Now he is at Toscana which is such a really comforting atmosphere. You really won't find anything like it on newbury. They seem to go out of their way to make their customers comfy, and it always smells really good in there. I can't wait to try out their spa services.

This place is the best. The service is unbelievable, the staff professional, friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is to die for. I have never ever had a problem with my hair when Stanley does it, no one does it better. Toscana is such a beautiful place, I seriously told them I was moving in last time I was there! Do yourself a favor and go to Toscana. You won't regret it!

Best New Salon on Newbury Street

I have been to several of the salon on Newbury Street and none has offered the superior service that Toscana European Day Spa Offers. Lead stylist Stanley is a Newbury Street veteran and his style and technique (for both cut and color) are flawless - and without the attitude you might find at some other salons!
Although I did not receive any skin care or massage, I did get a chance to explore the facility, which is well designed and offers an old Italian elegant feel. The floor plan is well laid-out and the decor is well equipped without seeming overly modern.

Every staff member I encountered, whether it was to check in or ask for a restroom, was charming and friendly.

I have been a client of Stanley's for years and have suffered the attitudes at other salons so that I might walk away with one of his magic cuts, and I am delighted to report that he is finally at a salon that is engaging as he is. I look forward to exploring the other personal care services that Toscana has to offer and I would HIGHLY recommend Stanley to anyone who is looking for a superior cut or color.
