My Spring & Cables Broke on my Garage Door and I called D & J Garage Door , They came out the same day and gave me an estimate for the repairs. They got started on the door and it was repaired within an hour & half just as the guy stated it would be. The Workman Jay was very nice and knew what he was doing. I will use D & J again when I decide to replace this old wood door. Thanks for a good Job ! I give Two Thumbs up to this Company.

We have used D & J garage Door Repair back in June to replace our springs and decided to replace our old wood door, I would not think of using any other company as they work was very good , customer service was the best and the prices can not be beat by any other door company. You get the Full package when you go with D & J Garage Door .

There Customers are number #1 in there eyes. They even called me the next day to make sure that I was liking the new door and that there wasn't anything eles they could do for us. The job was done very well and I appreciate all there hard work .

I Just moved into a new house and the garage door needed work , I called this company they came out the same day and indicated that I really needed a new door and gave me an estimate , I decided that I would go with the new door as the price was very good.

They came and installed the door the day , Jorge R is the guy that came out and he was very nice and knew what he was doing. Great Job and Great Price. I will tell my family & neighbors about this company,.

Came across another rating on this company while waiting for another company that I called the previous night to return my call. They dispatched within two hours and arrived within 10 minues of when they said they would. Techician was friendly, knowledgable, and courteous. He explained in detail what he observed and what my options were. He quoted me a fair price on a door, hardware and complete frame replacement (frame wood was split in many places), but was able to get existing door working by replacing the broken spring, replacing some missing hardware, and straightening sections of track.

Not too often I feel completely secure in recommending a business, but would recommend them to anyone, and will use them to replace the door in the future!

I needed a garage door ASAP and D&J came out to my house in 2 days and put it in on a Sat. Very professional and clean. They did a great job in only a few hours. And they were by far the cheapest in proce. And stated that if I had any questions or problems to just give them a call.

My garage door would not move after it was determined that the springs were broken. Because the springs were broken I was unable to lift the door for manual use. I was trapped!!

I remembered seeing D&J's 'models' advertising on Rockbridge Road and gave them a call.

They arrived within the hour on a Sunday afternoon and repaired my door swiftly.

I will always use D&J because I felt that I could trust them as opposed to the 'other' garage door company that I have called in the past.

I called last Friday to have my garage door springs replaced and the appointment was set for Saturday (last) the tech George showed up about 15 minutes early , got to work and replaced the springs for the exact price that I was quoted on the phone by Christy on Friday. They did not try to up sale me anything. They did find that I needed to have my trolley replaced on my opener and they have ordered the part and will be coming back to install. Great Work for the money.

I called D & J Garage Door after I came home from work and discover that someone had broke into my home & stole my car out of the garage with my remote in there. I called the office number at 12:08 and the answering service stated that the on call tech would be on the way , with-in 20 minutes of my call the tech Jamie arrived at home and de-programed the remotes , key-less and to my surprize they did not charge an emergency service call charge. I have used them once before and I completely recommend them. Great Company and Great Guy thanks for your help

I have used D & J garage door repair several times, spring replacement , opener replacement and both times Timmy & Jamie were both very professional and helpful in helping me understand what they were going to replace or repair. I live on the same road with Mr.Patterson and his daughter owns this company. She sure was raised to be a good woman and does good business . I wouldn't use any other company.

I called D & J Garage Door to have a carport enclosure done at my home that was built back in the 80's , I did alot of comparing prices and work and references. I also I might ad I also called Gwinnett County and did a License Check and they provided me with PROOF of Insurance. So I know for a fact that they are a Great Company that is Licensed,Insured and Bonded . So I also believe that whom ever wrote that they are not is completely wrong. I found D & J Garage Door on Service Magic and they came out the same day. They found that my photo eyes had been hit and broken. The Opener was about 10 years old so I wasn't sure If I should spend the money on a repair or get new opener , I choose the repair and in 20 minutes the door was fixed at a fair price that I could afford. I have already told my neighbors about this company.

I called to receive an estimate to replace my door cause it quite working and I wasn't sure what it needed. When the guy showed up at my home Jamie he said I will give you estimate for replacement but you don't need to replace we can repair for less money and it will work fine. So I went with repair and it cost me $ 202.30 instead of over a thousand dollars. Most companies would have sold me a new door and made alot of money off of me, but d&j did not they did the repair and then called a couple of days later to make sure everything was good and I was happy with repair. I will use again.

I saw a sign on the side of the road for D & J garage and wrote the number down and did a search on the internet when I got home and found that they had great ratings as you can see. I called them and they came out the same evening around 7:30 p.m. and by 8:00 p.m. my door was up and running again for only $ 85.00 Great Deal . I am planning on using them again in the summer when I replace this old wood door.

I found this company on the internet and I called them to come out and replace my broken garage door springs. I did check around for prices and this was the best price & they have great ratings & reviews and no complaints with the BBB . What more could you ask for ? Please view the photo gallery , The one with the Lawn Mower in front is my home. I have several grandchildren that decided to run paw-paw's lawn mower into my garage door. As you can see it was truly a mess, Thank God for D & J Garage Door they came to my rescue. I believe that they are a prayer answered from the good man above. We are on a fixed income and didn't have a-lot of money and the price D & J garage gave us was about 25% percent less then the other two estimates I got. My Garage Door has a mind of its own and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't . I has several Companies to come out to my home and every one of then charged me a service call ranging from $29.99 to $ 69.00. Each company that came out said oh ! we fixed the problem and it would work for a day or two and then start acting up again. Finally I seen an ad for D & J Garage Door I called them with the last little bit of hope that I had and I spoke with Donna she was very pleasant and set an appointment and then sent Matt out to my home . He stated this is just a adjustment and the cost was $ 45.00 and no service call as they were going to be in the area. This was 6 moths ago today and I waited to write the review to make sure the repair worked this time. I would have gladly paid this company the entire $ 508.90 that I have paid as they are the Best. Please I will be happy to give references as I am living Proof they know what they are doing.

This is the Best Garage Door Company in Georgia , I called around for weeks getting Prices to have my wood bottom sections replaced. I was about to give up when I called D & J Garage Door and spoke with Donna , You wouldn't believe how professional , polite she was and gave me a price that was half of what other companies were trying to charge. I am just Amazed that there is actually still a service company out there with employees as great as Donna , Well that's not all once the tech arrived at my home and explained everything that was going to take place I was more at ease then before these people are very knowleadgable when it comes to garage door's. I called on 11/20/08 for estimate , Same Day Estimate and I called back on 12/01/08 and got service same day for them to install my garage door opener in the evening after I get home from work. My son called D & J Garage Door and set up an appointment for the evening since we both work and they showed up on time , Our Springs had snapped and we could not open the garage door. They quoted us a great price over the phone. Once they arrived at our home they found that our trolley was also stripped out due to the fact that we had been using the opener with broken springs. They gave a great price on that as well. I do not think that this door has ever worked this good. Thanks for a professional job at a price that I could afford.

When I first called D & J garage door my first initial contact was with Donna , She was very personable, professional, sweet over the phone and gave me a estimate for the replacement of the door. I am an Investor so I watch every penny that I invest and the price was unbelievable. Once the Tech Matt & Joe arrived at the property it took less then an hour to remove and install the new door. Definitely recommend this company . I did check them out with the BBB and Goggle and actually called references and they were the best.

My springs broke on a Sunday and I couldn't get my car out to go to church, I got the phone book out and call D & J Garage Door Repair they answered and told me not to worry that someone would be there with-in the hour. I called on a Saturday with a problem with my garage door, springs, trolley etc. I spoke with the receptionist in the front office and she took my information and explained that the schedule for that day had already be made but that I would be put on a stand by and the first technician to finish his days work would call me , I was kind-of weary about this thinking that no one would call , I did indeed receive a call and the gentleman Jamie came out to my home and explained the issues that I had with my door. I gave the ok and the work was done in a timely manner at a fraction of the cost of other garage door companies. I will have them back at my home if I ever need garage door work again. Good Job ! I showed up after installation had been complete. I asked the installer why they left a pile of construction debris including the old garage door in my front yard. I was told they charge extra to remove the debris. If they wanted to charge more to remove the debris (which I am stuck with now) they should have said this up front, not after the job was complete. Bait-and-Switch. Standard contractor technique. From that point it went downhill. Extremely unprofessional.

As my son and I are trying to leave for church on Sunday morning, we find that the garage door won't open. And, it's a heavy wooden door (1972 vintage), so we are stuck in our house. I begin doing research since I notice that a coil is broken and discover that this is not a do-it-yourself repair. Then I search for companies in my area and find D&J. Knowing that it is a Sunday morning, I call anyway. We had a pleasant conversation and they are there within a half hour. From there, it was a wonderful experience and I'm delighted with the work.

I would definitely recommend D&J Garage Door Repair for repairs and/or new installations. They have great customer service and do great work. That is a rare combination...especially on a Sunday morning!

Impressed by there responsiveness to our emergency situtaion. They came out after midnight to repair the door that was crooked. He was fast and knew exactly what he was talking about and offered tips to avoid future problems of this nature , Very Professional and I highly recommend. Great Experience , Definiley the Experts when it comes to Garage Doors. Responce time was the same day for the estimate and next day for installation. I wasn't even home when they did the work as I teach school. when I did get home I couldn't believe it that someone in the service industry had actually done just as they said they would. The door was up and running and looked great. I can not Thank D & J Garage Door Repair enough for the great job that they did and the great customer service. Donna is the best and the tech did a great job. I have already told my neighbors about D & J Garage Door Repair . They are the best without a doubt. I will give them a refernece if needed.

Company was very professional throughout the process. Mr.hilley pointed out items ( rotten wood etc. ) that other companies did not and the install went without any problems. The owner Mr.Hilley actually came out to the job site to check on the job & the guys that were working Tim & Jamie . Actually the Bill was less then I was quoted as the door was on sale and they d & j just passed that savings on to me instead of trying to put that money in there pocket. These are HONEST , DEPENABLE,CHEERFUL,COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY people. I will use them again if I have a need for garage door work and I will tell my friends & family about them .

I called D & J Twice to repair my garage door , Once when the photo eyes were hit and the other when my grandson ran into the door, Both times the young man that came out was very professional & polite and the price was very good. D & J Garage Door Repair provided me with quality doors the next day after I called for a much better price than I could have gotten had I called a different company. I found them on Craigslist which made me a little nervous but I need not have worried. They came the next day, replace my old doors with very nice insulated doors and took my old doors away with them. Thanks for everything.

He ( Jamie ) was a very pleasant man that took the time to explain the functionings of the garage door & its springs , maintence needs and the garage door opener. They replaced my springs , Serviced my door and explained to me why the Opener went bad . Cause we used it when the springs were broke. I will use them again when we decide to replace the opener. You can't go wrong with D & J Garage Door.

I called D & J Garage Door and received Same Day Service & Installation of two new Garage doors. These people were very Professional and Installed the two wood Garage doors while I was at work. I didn't pay untill I got home and saw that they did a Great job.. I has another problem several months later with the Garage Door Opener and they camed the same day and replaced the eyes on my opener. Quick fast Professioanl Service at a great price. I will use them the next time I have garage door problems. Great Customer Service & Work.

I called D & J Garage Door after hitting my garage door with my car. I found them in the Villa Ricen Advertisement book , I called them and spoke with Jay he was very polite and professional and said that the Tech would call on his way and he did withhin a couple of hours Jamie called and was on his way. He quickly gave me an estimate and I went ahead with the repair. This is a rental house and I really didn't want to spend alot of money, the price was really good. He finished the repair withhin an hour and the door works better then before I hit the door. I would highly reccomend this company and I have told my Landlord about them and he reassured me that they would be using this company for his other rentals . I really do Thank you for a job well done and a great price . I will keep your company in mind when I buy my own house.

One of the Best Contractors I have ever Dealt with. I just moved from macon to a new home in Douglas County and we needed a couple of remotes & a keyless entry , I found D & J Garage Door Repair,Inc. in the Yellow Pages and they were able to assit me at a moments notice and were courteous and professional from the office staff (Christy ) to the two guys that came out Matt & Joe. In this day and time, professionalism has alot to be desired. Not so with your company. Everyone was very professional from the office staff to the actual young men who installed the door. They arrived just as they said, the weather caused what I thought would be a delay, but when I knew anything they had arrived, replaced the door and completed the job. Where eles can you get same day service with super work ? I called this company for a repair to my garage door , They came out the same day. The Young Man Jamie arrived around 8:00 p.m. to find that my door needed quit a bit of work springs,cables,service. I thought for sure that he would not be able to perform the repair that evening. He was able to start and finish the job around 9:30 p.m. . My door works better now then the day Lowes installed it. I have already told my friends & neighbors about D & J Garage Door Repair and several have already used them, just to be as pleased as I have been. You will not find a company that is more professional , courteous, and dedicated to making us as consumers happy with there work. I am a 150% Satisfied.

I found D&J on http://atlanta.craigslist.org and contacted them about installing a garage door at my house. When Jaime arrived, I had framed the opening to 7'6" instead of the standard height of 7'.
Although he didn't have an oversize door in stock he quickly called around, found one, and was here to install it the next day. He and his assistant worked most of the afternoon to install the door to work with my my out-of-level floor and out-of-plumb walls, then after it was working properly they installed the opener.
Immediately afterward they went across the street and installed a door for my neighbor, in the dark, to keep their promise of his installation being completed that same day.
I would recommend them to anybody.

After the reviews on this company , good & bad I did give them a call and I spoke with Mrs.Hilley , She was an absolute doll , very pleasant , was very knowleadgeable on the problem that we had. They have two offices and the one in gwinnett didn't have an opening she actually sent a tech from her douglasville office to assit me being a single mom with 3 kids I was worried if someone would try and take advantage of me. The tech Jay was the best , I could not have asked for a better company and the cost was Awesome ( $105.00) alot less then I willing to pay !!! Thumbs up to this company. These are good christian people

I called D & J Garage Door Repair on a sunday evening after 10:30 p.m. as we heard a big noise in our garage , knowing that my husband and I both had to leave for work very early and couldn't get the door to open. I did speck with the owner Mr.Hilley and he assured me that it was no problem he could get his on call tech to come out within 30 minutes. Within 30 minutes the tech Jay did show up and inspected the door to find that the springs had broken along with the cables. They showed us exactly what was broke and explained the process to repair the problem.
The tech repaired the problem within 45 minutes and the door now is working better then the day that home depot installed it. I have recommended this company already to family members and also a co- worker. They were very Professional , Quick Service . I will certainly use them in the future. if I have another Garage Door Issue.
