Manila Express

I live in Lakewood and drive all the way to Manila Express for lunch just after noon or later around 6pm or 7 for dinner. I also frequent Corrals All You Eat but I enjoy the cultural experience at Manila Express which is family friend and offers several standing dishes of pork, beef, chicken for immediate serving - very tasty! I eat out twice a day and eat here often despite the drive from Lakewood and have enjoyed the food every time.

Manila To Go is now Manila Express. Went over and checked it out the other day. Staff was very friendly and food was excellent. Wide variety of food for every taste. I love the Shanghai Lumpia. It was was made fresh when I ordered it. The halo halo was great too. I recommend it!

I went there twice on two sundays to give it a shot. The first time the food looked so old as if it were sitting for hours or was leftovers from the previous night that I opted to pass and go to a much better Filipino restaurant nearby. I gave this place another shot but the lady who cooks and works the counter, she could be the owner, was so rude, that I could not consider giving her any of my hard earned money. Probably the worst restaurant in Denver.

Excellent filipino Cuisine (Aurora, Colorado)
Offering things like
Beefsteak with onions,
steamed rice, veggie-packed meat soup
savory barbecued pork and chicken on a stick.
siopao, steamed white buns filled with meat and egg.
Pinakbet, bitter melon with bits of pork seasoned with shrimp paste
pancit, lumpia, Kare-kare, Bangus, Tilapia
Halo Halo, Just to name a few :)
