.

The new Jefferson Airplane book by author Craig Fenton called "Take Me to a Circus Tent" is not only filled with 543 pages, over 90 photos (Many by famed 60's photographer Herb Greene. He took the cover to Suurealistic Pillow), and 32 interviews but it offers the most diverse information.

Founding member said this about Mr. Fenton "Craig Fenton knows so much about the Jefferson Airplane and family, I was asking him the questions." There is something for everyone. You can enjoy the interviews with Airplane and family members that even include the original bass-player Bob Harvey and the original drummer Jerry Peloquin. Over 120 shows are documented with information as to what songs were played, the first and last time a song was performed, any special guests on stage and he examines over 60 songs from the musical vaults that were not released. Not only is the entire 1989 reunion covered but he lists ever song the Great Society ever played with Grace Slick and information about the band. As a former radio personality you can see how he is able to make the musicians feel so comfortable. There is also over 260 questions and answers about the Airplane, Jefferson Starship, Hot Tuna, KBC, Wooden Ships, and even SVT.

The reviews have been stellar thus far and for good reason.

You can't find a circus tent with more inside. Well worth it.
