Message from Mae's Soul Food Inc.
The best of America's past brought up to date.
- 3 generation of family recipes
- Catering is available
- Award winning fried chicken
Miss Mae's is probably the best unknown soul food restaurant in all of Atlanta. Their inexpensive prices are even more appreciated by its customers. Miss Mae's has a homey feeling and serves home-sized portions, too. Heaping plates of yams, macaroni and cheese, and collard greens are delivered to your stable, and they are all preceded by a big basket of corn bread. But don't get full off of that because if you do, you will miss out on the best fried chicken in Atlanta.
Miss Mae's also has a magnificent Country Breakfast that consists of bacon, sausage, eggs, grits, pancakes, toast, and biscuits. All and all, you will love just about anything on the Miss Mae's menu. From fish to pork chops or the Award Winning Fried Chicken, everything is made from scratch. Miss Mae's does it all, and continues to do it right.

Consistently Great Food
The Food is consistently great in this little hide-a-way in busy downtown Atlanta. The fried chicken, smothered pork chops and baked chicken are good buys. The lemonade is aways fresh and the atmospehere is very informal and warm.
Pros: Food is just like your mommas, that is, if you mom could cook
Cons: Parking-on main street in the heart of downtown Atlanta
