As an avid runner who enjoys exercising outdoors, I?ve never been very enthusiastic about gyms or personal trainers. However when I tried a personal training session at Transform based on a recommendation from a friend, I was hooked! Their style of training, focused on building core body strength using ?super slow? high intensity routines really works. I find it a great complement to my regular cardio workouts and feel better than I have in a long time. This is not a place for ?gym bunnies? looking for a ?scene? or people who want to look like Schwarzenegger. But if you want to make your body stronger, more toned, and more flexible as well as promote a greater sense of health and well-being, then you should try Transform. Ana and her team offer highly personalized service and nothing but positive attitudes and encouragement. All the trainers have professional backgrounds in nutrition, physical therapy, nursing, etc. and they really know what they are doing. The quiet intimate environment feels almost Zen-like. And for people like me with unpredictable schedules, they are extremely flexible. Personal training on a whole new level and highly recommended!

The workouts I do at transform fitness are by far my favorite. This has been the BEST TRAINER experience in NYC I have ever had! Over the last 24 years I have worked with several trainers for a few weeks at a time at various sports clubs throughout NYC. I hate gyms and the whole experience. Finding myself unable to committ beyond one or two months of training. This is the first time in my life I find myself committed to my twice a week workout with my trainer Ana Steitz at Transform Fitness. I celebrated the one year anniversary of my committment to the new me! At 44, I was beginning to feel a little heavy and frail. I was introduced to my wonderful trainer at Transform thru a friend. My friend convinced me to buy a 10 session package which I did. One year later, I lost 16 lbs and look better in my underwear today than I did at 20!! I love telling people that! But it's true!!! I went from a 34 inch waist to a 31 inch waist! My family, my friends do not recognize me! I don't recognize myself!! What a great feeling to look s*xy again at my age. This private studio is a gem! My office is in midtown manhattan which makes it even easier to sneak off for 30 minutes during lunch for my workout. These power workouts are incredibly effective. It is remarkable to believe that I look the way that I do without breaking out into a sweat. It's a completely different way of working out from what I was accustomed to. I plan on buying packages this holiday season to give to 3 friends I would love see transform themselves. Ana! I owe you my life as I know it today! My experience is incredible with Transform fitness. I must say that I did not believe it until I saw a friend of mine who mentioned Tranform Fitness before and she looked fantastic!!! What a motivation! Then I met the team and I fell in love with them! I saw the place so cozy and welcoming!
I highly recommend this system. I feel leaner and stronger. Even my eating habits improved since I started 2 months ago! I just have to congratulate the owners and all the trainers for their wonderful work!

Ana and her staff are incredibly knowledgeable and personable. They are great trainers for those seeking to "get in shape", or even for those training for something more serious or of a higher level.

If you are seeking personal attention from a knowledgeable staff that really cares, this is a great place. I also feel that for the quality of training, this is a great value.

This is the first time I have ever stuck to an exercise regime, twice a week for 2 years now. It is also the first time in my life that I have had visible muscles (almost from the start). The trainers are the kind of people you want to see and the whole experience makes it enjoyable to work out -- despite the intensity of the exercise. After several years of near-debilitating back and neck pain, I have built up core strength that has helped keep me free of doctors and pain killers since shortly after I started at Transform.
