People constantly ask where I get my hair done, and now that I have moved to Santa Cruz, I still drive the 2+ hours to see Dana because it is worth it. I totally trust her judgment regarding what will look great, what will be functional and fit my lifestyle. And, she is practically a comedian, totally fun to hang out with. Brittany has been doing my color for a couple of years and I always get TONS of compliments. I have been to places where I'll tell them what I want and they say they will do it but then they do nothing like what I wanted. Brittany really listens and will let me know if what I want is either not realistic or just plain wont look right, I completely trust her opinion. P.S. This salon is so cute!! I just moved to Sac from NYC and didn't know where to get my hair cut WELL, so I took a chance on Apartment 19 and thank heavens my entire experience was fantastic! Gina informed me of her strengths as it pertained to my hair type, and was knowledgeable and communicative every step on the way. She was sweet and fun to chat with. Also, the premises is truly unique -- clean, comfortably yet stylishly decorated, with a lot of attention to detail. I've found my go-to spot for hair now that I'm here!
