Today I went in to Drs. Roy and Associates to get an eye exam and use up my insurance money. I was extremely impressed with the customer service i received, as well as the doctors that checked my eye health. I would recommend their services to everyone and can't wait to tell my family about them!

In 2007, after a horrible experience with a network provider, within my new insurance plan, I called the office of Drs Phillip & Lynne & Associates to ask if I could do anything about their business accepting my insurance plan.

Andrea, staff for the office, told me I could go to my insurance company's web page and fill out a form asking my insurance company to contact Drs Phillip & Lynne Roy & Associates regarding becoming an in network provider. I did this twice, the second time I referenced Andrea.

I called a few times during the next year and asked about the status of acquiring my insurance provider. I never received a yes or no answer, just excuses.

I like the quality of care the doctors provided me before I had my new insurance so I scheduled a routine eye exam a little over one year after my first discussion with Andrea.That day was today.

I was so disappointed with the staff at Drs Phillip & Lynne Roy & Associates. Jill is now in charge of insurance and she gave me nothing but excuses today with regards to the status of Drs Phillip & Lynne Roy & Associates acquiring my insurance provider. She and some of the fellow staff thought it more important to order lunch than to research any information with regards to my insurance inquiry over one year prior.

When I pressed on with questions as to why, Jill was rude, not professional. She was unable to answer any of my questions and could only speculate what the answer would be with regards to my insurance being added as a option at Drs Phillip & Lynne Roy & Associates. The tech, David, gave me a better understanding of the insurance situation than Jill.

Jill didn't know if the paperwork had been received from my insurance company or even if the application had been completed and mailed back to my insurance company.

The doctors provide excellent care but the staff is very unprofessional. When visiting your eye care specialist the whole experience should be at least satisfactory.

If I look at my experience today as if Drs Phillip & Lynne Roy & Associates were a restaurant, I would tell my family and friends that the food was great but the service was poor.

I have been going to Drs Roy & Associates for years and now my kids go to. They are open 7 days a week including evenings and that it great if you work. Service is great the doctors are very knowledgeable and will make sure you are totally satisfied that you have the best eye wear to fit your lifestyle. They sell contacts but do not sell glasses. They will give you your prescription. They are located in the same building as LensCrafters, but are not affiliated with LensCrafters.
