My experience started when my bf and I were purchasing a living room set. The salesman continuously told us "if we don't like it we can return it".. well. I even confronted him about it bc i didn't believe it.. and also asked other employees they said theres a NO RETURN POLICY.. and he said "oh, they just don't know what they're talking about." .. so after days and hours of arguing with these people they let us return a coffee table (which was damaged and put together improperly anyway) an end table and a lamp. the soonest they could do that was 2 weeks from the date. We actually found an entertainment center that we liked that could get delivered the day after it was purchased.. and the only reason we purchased it was bc it was about the same price as the other 3 items. We were thinking they could pick up the other 3 when they delivered the piece, but no. So we had to wait ANOTHER week to get this furniture out of the house. They gave me a time frame of 3-7 to pick up the furniture, so i planned my family dinner and what I had to do around that time. When 7pm hit.. I called the store and they reassured me they would only be a little while longer. Then it was 8:45pm, I called again. They said the dispatcher said they would be there a little after 9pm.. So, I proceeded to wait.. even though I was dressed and ready for the dinner which I had already missed. 9:45 rolled around and I wasn't sure what to do, after 9pm there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY to get in touch with them.. but I knew if I didn't wait it would be weeks before this furniture would be gone. 10:00pm.... 10:30... 11:00... still no rooms to go. I was supposed to be somewhere for 10pm and of course was late but continued to wait a few more minutes in hopes they would come. By 11:15pm, I decided you know.. at what point in the middle of the night am I supposed to accept the fact that rooms to go is not coming to my house.. so I left to get where I needed to be. I got a phone call at 12AM saying "Hi, we're here to get your furniture." This is absolutely ridiculous so I called the store the next day to talk to a manager and her words to me were "I don't care about your story, did they come or not" "If I were you I wouldn't be going out after 11PM anyway" and "If it meant that much to you, I would have just stayed home." I proceeded to tell her its not of her business what I do in my spare time, but it is her business that I had a 4 hour time frame in which they were 5 hours late for!... and I recieved no phone call whatsoever to let me know they would be late. So, I called corporate numerous times this week complaining about both the delivery and this "manager" that was so rude. I finally talked to someone who apologized and said he would schedule an EARLY pick up on this past Saturday so that I could get the furniture out of my house and that someone would call to confirm. By Friday, I had no phone calls from anyone at rooms to go so I called them again only to find out they scheduled a pick up on a Thursday (which I work 8-5 m-f .. so thats not even possible for me to manage).. I made a big deal and the lady on the phone said it would be 3 weeks before they could get out to me on a Saturday. I was so aggravated and pissed that I continued to call and get in touch with someone at the store who was corporate and she said she would talk to the GM to see if I could bring the furniture there even though they never do that (Although, I think they should have come to my house after hours to get it after all of this BS, instead of making me find a way to get it there).. I never heard back from her so I called her back and she said if I had a way to that I could bring the furniture to the store.. which as soon as I was able to, I did (Friday night when I got off of work). I was so relieved to have this furniture gone after 1 month of it sitting here waiting on this stupid store to pick it up. I was leaving my house Saturday around 12PM and what do you know... Rooms to Go pulls up.. "Hi, we're here to pick up your furniture." ROOMS TO GO IS ABSOLUTELY THE MOST UNORGANIZED INCONSIDERATE DISRESPECTFUL STORE IVE EVER BEEN IN... AND AFTER THIS AWFUL MONTH OF DOING NOTHING WITH MY SPARE TIME OTHER THEN SPENDING HOURS ON THE PHONE AND WAITING FOR IGNORANT DELIVERY DRIVERS.. I WILL NEVER EVER BE PURCHASING FROM THIS BUSINESS AGAIN.

I paid off my balance and receive a $25 charge on the next statement. I was on the phone over 2 hours trying to find out what the $25 charge was for. I get transfered for the 3rd time and I am now on hold being caller #52. I will NEVER do business with the company again!!!

I made 3 purchases from r2g like a dummy this is the worst experience of my life.. The sales people just doing there jobs to sale the furniture. Roomtogo need to get them some better delivery services or they r going to lose a lot of business from there loyal customers. We all stupid for paying delivery charges, because we r all dissatified when the furniture is delivery. We are the ones keeping there business going. They need some trained furniture delivery drivers. Leave those shed trees alone. Next time, I will go to the Thrift Store to get better service

My experience with R2G has been very disappointing. The sales people are pleasant and helpful however; on the day that my furniture was delivered I was very unpleasantly surprised. I ordered from both R2G and R2G kids. The furniture was delivered on separate day. I was told at the store that all items would be delivered at the same time. On the day that the adult furniture was delivered, I was unpleasantly surprised to find out that of the 4 items bedroom set I ordered 2 pieces were not what I ordered and one was broken. I attempted to correct the issue and was told that I would need to take an additional trip to the store. Getting the order corrected took about 2 hours. I was told that the correct furniture would be delivered with the furniture from R2G kids order the next week. This did not happen either. I was advised by the customer service operator that the adult furniture was on back order and would not be in for another 60 days. I advised the operator at that time that I wished to cancel the order. She advised that she would note it to my record. About a month and a half later I received an automated a call advising that the furniture I ordered would be delivered in 1 week. I called back to inform that I had cancelled that order. The customer care agent told me that I must return to the store and cancel the order with my sales person.

this is our 2nd dealing with RTG and both have been HORRIBLE! our 1st dealing was about 2 years ago with the "outlet" center on the westbank. We were showed a couch set that looked fairy descent. Yes it is a store that the furniture is damaged and we knew that, but they showed us the "damages" which were small in detail but neglected to show us the major problems like ripping seems being hidden by pillows, the broken zipper which would not zip up on the chaise and the numerous pieces broken off the legs and wood. After multiple calls they said i "should have looked over it" and that its my fault for not doing so. Fast forward to last saturday we purchased a coffee table and had it set to be delivered today (monday) so it gets here and is not even the table we purchased! we called the store they said we had to call CS and after about an hour of phone tag they decided to pick up the wrongly shipped table and send us the new one but we have to wait a week to receive it...hopefully they can get it right this time

A nightmare! Purchased NEW furniture...one dresser was apparently dropped, the other cut when being taken out of the box and the mirror slide across the too soft wood leaving scratches. The driver said I HAD to accept this damaged furniture, although I couldn't understand why I HAD to accept damaged furniture only to have another crew come back for it and drag it back down stairs, not to mention wasting my time. I was also told by this crew that I had 72 hrs to look over all furniture & call in any problems. I later learned I didn't have to accept damaged furniture and had 48 hrs to call in.Not an honest group. I then had to wait two weeks for a "TECHNICIAN" to come "REPAIR" furniture. (I live out of town). When he got here, I insisted I didn't pay for refurbished goods and demanded new furniture. I waited another week to get more damaged furniture...this time not even in a box. I sent it back and waited yet another week to get furniture delivered by the SAME crew that apparently damaged the initial order. You guessed it! This furniture was even more damaged than the initial furniture. After 5 weeks, I settled for a small discount to save time and money as it's apparent that the supervisor Brandy Lightfoot was not and has not returned my call. Heather from Cust Service refused to give her last name. How professional and sure of her service response after placing me on hold for 8 minutes to "look for" Brandy???? I was told that they do not have a return policy, only an exchange. WHAT!. If you want to support Rooms To Go, go to the outlet and actually get what you pay for which is not damaged furniture! Oh, yeah, the quality is not so impressive once you get it home. I ordered two bed room sets and they have these marks like a presses on the wood that look like little nail holes all over the furniture. On the positive, nice design, but poor quality in my opinion and customer service can just shut down and go watch the soap. They are useless and just put you on hold hoping you'll go away. I'm a VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMER!

After spending thousands of dollars with Rooms to Go, we have yet to receive our furniture in good condition. Not being picky here?our bedroom set arrived with half the pieces damaged, some missing parts, and others apparently dropped with broken corners, cracked wood and a gaping hole in the back of our dresser. We had to sleep with our mattress on the floor until Rooms to Go, was ??gracious? enough to loan us a temp metal frame until they could send someone over to repair our furniture, which up to now is only piece repaired. The corporate office tells us that there is only one service tech in Louisiana, so good luck to everyone. The local store that took our money acts like they want to help us, but we keep getting passed back and forth from the corporate phone bank back to the local office just to hear an endless supply of canned answers. BAD SERVICE AFTER THE SALE!
