.

The only open invitation traditionally based Japanese-Okinawan karate school. The training is rough, but effective. The school exceeded my expectations on the first night. The school has a very laid back atmosphere because there is actual depth to what's being taught, whereas in other schools I've been to in the area, they substitute technique for more important things like always turning left before you bow to the flag and making you shout yes or no ma'am or sir or bowing to the instructor outside of dojo. The self defense is direct and to the point. It's kept down to under five movements to put the opponent down, as opposed to schools that take twenty five steps to get out of a bear hug. No over kill is taught, which means self defense doesn't turn into revenge. The fighting is bare knuckle, full contact. They only do point sparring as a speed and accuracy drill, and even that is semi to full contact. No tapping at that school. The classes have competitive pricing. . .FREE!! The school is a great deal, and I highly recommend them to ANYONE who is willing to put forth an effort and become a REAL black belt.
